My entry for the Face Your Monster contest. Inspired by Tim Burton and irrational fears of dark closets.

Mask is made from paper clay and I used Super Sculpey for the teeth. Painted with acrylic and finished with a gloss.

Awesome thing about this mask is that because it's made from paperclay, it's really LIGHT! Took about a week and a half from start to finish.

Fun Piece to make. Created with the old #2 pencil. I believe last time I counted there were 20 animals wrapped up in this one.

I try to still get the tension by using minimal design and color. It is challenging to create artwork with such limited color, but it still fun too. I do learn something with this artwork.

I hope you like it as I do. Cheers! :-D
