Although this one turned out slightly blurry, I couldn't resist uploading it because it's too damned hilarious! Haha, here's our entire Uncharted group doing their favorite multiplayer moves! My favorite part is the fact that Sully is so unamused by the rest of the crew's antics...
this was taken yesterday while I was on my way home from visiting my mother, suddenly I saw the sky was green through street lights and everything. Then it was time to find a suitable place without lights and shoot
All right, ladies and gentleman, I can wait no longer to show you the ENTIRE COSPLAY CREW from Ohayocon 2012!
As an Uncharted fan from the Drake's Fortune era... I cannot express how much this group meant to me. Back in the day, I remember cosplaying Elena by myself, and it was fun but nobody knew who I was. With the release of Uncharted 2, the fandom grew and so did our little crew... and the characters became a bit more recognizable.
But I could have never imagined THIS three years ago. Since the release of Uncharted 3, comic books, action figures, apparel and even its own Vita game... I was able to see this group come together. Every person in this photo is one of my best friends (well, except for Sully, we found him on the way to our shoot but we've already adopted him as part of the crew <3). ;D
It was so much fun and so beautiful it actually brings tears to my eyes. Everyone got along so well! :'D
OKay I'm done with the emotional stuff. Here's the crew!
I used a lot of time getting this shot right, because i wanted it to look artistic and not just a snapshot of a toy. Taken handheld in morning light + low light lamp. Cross processed and selective grain removal.
NOTE: All tarantulas can bite, but none are really a danger to humans (unless you're allergic/sensitive to venom in general). This species is considered "docile and nervous", but rarely bite (I have never been bitten). In the rare cases there have been bites, it's been said to be equivalent to a bee sting.
I've been meaning to take an updated photo of this little/big cutey . Sorry it's a bit blurry, I'm right handed and had to take this photo with my left hand...and it's hard to get this little one to hold still long enough for a photo, he likes to roam XD. Oh, and don't mock my Twilight poster...I like the imagery of the poster (which I got for free) better than the campy film, lol.
This is Muppet, my Antilles versacolor tarantula! I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may be a male, so I'll just say 'he' for now. I raised this beautiful spider from a spiderling ...and this little cutey has been amazing! He's not once bit me, and can be a little nervous and run sometimes...but 90% of the time I can get him to calmly walk along my hands and arms. Sadly, male tarantulas don't live as long as females. He's about 8 or 9 months old now ...but hopefully he has a few more months or a year in him. I love this little guy...very gentle and beautiful. Owning this beautiful creature has been an awesome experience.
This was him when I got him as a spiderling, they start off blue, then as they mature become a vivid teal, red, with some purple on their legs! This was him when he was tiny and blue, very cute little beasty. ---> [link]
