Phew. That lighting is hard. I think I will reserve it for more important shots.
Anyway, the first scene I've done of Fire Tiger vs Acid Panther. If anyone's curious.
I won't upload any more scenes, as I'd like the film to be at least a bit of a surprise.
Oh wait, I just realized there are a couple of frames cut off the end. Oh well, not missing much.
Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny NunsI recently learned that the stereotypical "Japanese Fan Girl" is not some sort of mythical sasquatch of popular culture. I know they exist because my work somehow attracted the attention of one.Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny Nuns4 years ago in Personal More Like This
She showed up online one day and started posting weird fan-art and (thanks to google translate) weirder messages.
It was amusing, if a little creepy. Especially when someone found a few pictures she had drawn of a decidedly underage version of myself being violated by tentacles.
I let that slide because, hey; she was a Japanese Fan-girl. They're innately odd.
But then it turned out she was actively following me around the internet, frequenting the same sites and forums as me. Specifically B3TA; a place where you really shouldn't go unless you speak English, have a tough skin and an understanding of serrated British humour.
Fan-girl did not, and was subsequently torn to shreds.
Despite everyone's advice, however (including mine and most of the B3TAns) she kept going back. As such, I don't have m

Awesome work with the limericks last week! We were very impressed by all your rhymes. One could say you really hit it out of the park.
We have our three winners!
There once was a bowler, quite lame.
Ardent Ashlee was her nickname.
She cheered at her spare,
Threw her hands in the air
Only to see it was in the wrong lane.
The hockey team glared at their mate.
He thought, "Well, isn't this great!"
"I lost Andy's dare,
so I dress I did wear,
and now I'm "that kid" they all hate!"

And congregate fans from all neighborhoods
You'd really enjoy it
Though greed can destroy it
Especially if your name is Woods.
And a special honorable mention to Jonas72 and Moosplauze for their awesome limerick comment thread

I have to close this now but I will certainly be holding another AvA in the future if this one ends up being successful!
Thank you all for all the interest and I hope you guys enjoy this competition. c:
"What is an AvA?"
- It is a knock-out tournament in which entrants are put against each other over several rounds - each round you are given a different theme and have two weeks to make a piece of art based on that theme. The entries are judged on creativity, effort, technical skill and how well it fits with the theme, and the winner of each pair of entrants advances to the next round!

Oh my gosh. You guys.
Thank you so much for 2000+ watchers! I can't believe so many people are intrested in the stuff I come up with!
You make me happy. I would have never expected this. NEVER.
I cannot put into words how much this means to me... Well, I keep asking myself why but...
ANYWAY. I'm going to do something for you... I don't know what, but I'll come up with something... I guess.
So, now we're going to talk about this month's INTERVIEWBLAH. Did you enjoy it? I am pretty much confused with how it ended and how it even started and... I don't know. I didn't want to just talk about BL-things and so on... Because I kind of got bored with the idea pretty fast.
I hope you still liked it!
So, here are the characters you can vote for:
- Hong Kong.
So. That's it. I have no idea what to do with those characters but I guess I will come up with something... I feel like I've written this prase before. Oh yes. Just now. Just a few

Today I learned that asking someone to please stop complaining and whining on my page is the same as hate mail. xD Kids making new meanings for stuff never gets old. And apparently it gives you a low maturity level aswell. D8 what am I missing here?
Remember people dont tell others how to behave, it makes you immature and a hater. I knew I shouldnt trust my parents and teatchers, they are so immature and old compared to me so they cant go tell people how to behave.

Fandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals On FandomsFandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Like most people, I'm a fan of a lot of things. However I don't often wade deep into fandoms themselves. For example, I like MLP:FiM, but I wouldn't call myself a hardcore Brony by any stretch of the imagination, as is evident by my continued botches of cutie mark colors (something no hardcore fan would EVER screw up).
Part of the reason I don't delve too far into fandoms is because fans can get very... emotional... about their given fandom. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can sometimes be a crutch. I like a variety of series, but I'm not gonna throw a tantrum because of an episode name, or an animation mistake, like some people do. I don't like how angry or defensive fandoms can get sometimes, and for the most part I think people need to just calm down and relax and not be so standoffish.
Fans are, for the most part, good people who are just enthusiastic about a show or series. Just try to keep that enthusiasm from dipping into the negative side of thing

Nintendo Direct unveiled a bunch of big announcements the other day, the highlights being a HD remake of Wind Waker, announcement of a new Zelda, a new Yoshi's Story game, a new 3D Mario game, a new Mario Kart game, and a new Smash Bros game to be unveiled at E3 this year. Other info like a possible sequel to Xenoblades, updates on Bayonetta 2, and a forthcoming WiiU firmware update that'll alleviate some of the sluggish load times and unlock the Virtual Console (as well as the announcement that Gamecube games and GBA games will be possibly sold in the eShop).
Quite a lot of info, but here's my question. Why is everyone surprised at it? I've lived through every console generation with Nintendo and I can honestly say, a lot of this wasn't really a surprise to me. Like, yeah of course they're gonna make a new Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and 3D Mario game. It's friggin' Nintendo. Why is that a surprise? It's not like those are second tier franchises like Metro

Double Dragon NEONHi there guys! As maybe you know Double Dragon NEON was released the last week! and whoa! It was an incredible project! I´ve got several notes and emails asking if I was involved in the game: "billy and Jimmy looks like your charas", "the girls!", etc... so, yes! I worked in chara design and concept art. Was really an honor not only to be part of a franchise that I love like Double Dragon (as a kid, I spent hours playing the original game on arcades and then withe the NES version) but also to work with one of the game developers I deeply admire like Wayforward in this love letter to the 80´s. You can play it right now in your Xbox 360 and PS3!!! I hope you like it! I love brawlers! hope to upload some of the images soon tooDouble Dragon NEON3 years ago in Personal More Like This

The Future of SYAC?I'm leaning on the side of axing it entirely. I know that I pretty much owe my online "fame" to the popularity of SYAC, and that despite a small core group of naysayers the vast majority of my watchers love the series... but I personally have always had problems with it. It was never meant to be more than a few strips long, and my attempts to turn it into a full blown series have been awkward and clumsy at best. The Future of SYAC?3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Using myself as the main character for SYAC was a huge mistake, one which I realized early on and one which you can see me struggle with throughout the rest of the series. Even after completely retooling it to be a new story with Emily and Jade, I didn't get very far into it before complications forced me to stop. I don't really want to do anything with SYAC right now, but at the same time I understand there are a lot of fans of the series I need to consider. So here are a couple of ideas I had on what I could do with it, but feel free to jump down into the comments secti
Back from Fan Expo Toronto and some bummer news...So, Sarah and I are back from Fan Expo Canada. We had a lot of fun and we're really happy to see we had so many enthusiastic fans in Toronto. Thanks to all of you who stopped by the booth, supported our work, or just hung out as boosted my self esteem. We've already booked a table for next year, so I promise you'll see us again.Back from Fan Expo Toronto and some bummer news...3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Now for the sad news....
We didn't get the Mission: Small Business grant. Sarah and I are pretty bummed, but incredibly grateful to everyone who voted, spread the word, and helped us out. We still plan on growing and expanding, but we'll have to find other avenues to do so. We're not giving up no matter what, but it still stings a bit for the time being. Again, thank you all so much for your support. Even though we didn't win, it was still a massive boost to our confidence to know you guys are behind us on this. One way or another, we will make this work!
The folks who did win can be found here.
MCM updatesHey everyone. A lot has happened within the past few days, some good and some bad, so I figured I should just give a quick update.MCM updates4 years ago in Personal More Like This
First off this convention has to be one of the busiest and biggest conventions I have ever been to. I mean, I've been to the NYC comic con before and it was nothing like this! The turnout has been absolutely fantastic! Thank you everyone for coming out to see me!
I've had a few fans give me artwork and that's always a treat. One even reshape my kneaded eraser into pinky pie for me too. That was quite a lark! As you know, humon, vitaly, and stupid fox are here too and we have an anthology we've been selling. After a while of selling them I started to notice humon and vitaly were writing messages back and fourth like "bring me cake" or "the cake is for me! Not you!" and other fun stuff.
Overall I have been incredibly impressed at the intensity of this convention. I really have not experienced anything like it!
However, as awesome as this convention has been t
Things you should never ask an Artist to doI write this to not spark a debate or judgement, only to share my personal opinion and experience in hopes of benefiting you and offering insight to people thinking about hiring an artist.Things you should never ask an Artist to do4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Things you should never ask an Artist to do:
1. Free Work.
Do I really have to explain this one? You wouldn't walk into any other business offering a service and ask for free clothes or a burger right? No, you pay for them without question and they take a lot less creativity, time to make and cost a lot less. Why ask people to work for free on something you couldn't make yourself? If you believe in your vision, then I suggest find funding for it to pay the people doing the work for you. This goes for family as well, don't get me wrong, I love my family and enjoy doing something for them but it means so much more when I OFFER to do something for free than when it's expected. Let the artist decide whether or not they want to give their time for free without asking them, as a rule treat them with res
Music JournalHere's a fun experiment for you guys, if you wish to participate. I'm going to give a link to five different scores of music and you guys have to tell me what you felt as you listened to it. This exercise is supposed to be something of a warmup for your imagination. For you to understand exactly what kind of effect music has on us when we listen to it.Music Journal4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Here are the rules:
1) If it's a track from a movie you know, please DO NOT tell me what happens in that scene in the film. That is not the point to this exercise. I know it'll be hard not to do that because of the chosen soundtracks, but try to be creative.
2) Tell me what emotions you feel while listening to the one you felt was strongest. So that means CHOOSE ONE to speak about. Angry, sad, joyful, blahblah XD
3) Be creative and have fun! Draw or something while you're listening
Okay, so here are the tracks:

Got a disturbing note. Read half of it and then deleted. i wont' say from who and I won't say what it was about. I'm just making things clear, especially for the younger watchers of mine:
When I sound upset online, I don't mean to. I hate sounding that way. When my faith gets attacked, That's when I get rude. I don't like being rude, but I can't help it. Try going through all of high school getting bullied. Being the unpopular girl. Being the one without an opinion.
Being the Catholic.
When I post certain things, like that PnF episode thing from a while back, I'm not mad at anyone in particular. I just get nervous and I tend to sound like I'm cracking. I know a lot of people apologize in comments and I don'T reply because i can't, but it doesn't mean that I'm mad at you. If you say "I'm so sorry! I really am!" I'm not actually mad at you. Honestly. And I don't want you
It's been a whileFirst I'd like to apologize to many of you who have sent me notes and comments that are left with no responses from me, so I want to say I'm sorry and I hope you don't hold any grudge on me ^^'It's been a while4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Secondly, I'd like to say that it has been a while since I've been talking to you guys, and also that I haven't been posting since almost two or 1 1/2 month ago, I've been quite busy this summer with lots lots of work. Also the fact that I'm fasting this month(which is called Ramadan, I don't know if many of you are familiar with it)and for that reason I try focusing and learning more about this special holiday and its story, its meaning and etc, its almost like meditating or dwelling in some spiritual way where you have to abstain from things that attempt you, like music and high tech stuff, which does explain why I dont do much here(mostly also because of lazyness XD). but of course Ramadan isn't only about fasting. If you're interested into knowing about what Ramadan is, you can always visit a

This is quite possibly the most interesting Sonic-related news since the release of Generations, even more interesting than the recent announcement of the new Transformed game.
Hunnid-P, the artist behind the classic theme songs for Knuckles the Echidna ("Unknown from M.E.", etc) in the Adventure titles, stated his involvement with SEGA in a future Sonic project. Interestingly, this finding comes not long after the fact that Sonic Adventure 2 was discovered to get a re-release for the XBOX360 (again, a re-release, not to be confused with the term "remake").
Is SEGA discreetly building hype for some bigger news? This tidbit by Hunnid-P unsurprisingly re-surged the ever living fan demands for a Sonic Adventure 3, which I never believed was completely out of the question, especially with SEGA's current state of financial difficulties. They're likely g

Today marks the day that SEGA answered our dreams and the NiD15 campaign.
SEGA listened to us.
Guys... NiGHTS into dreams... is being ported to modern consoles.
We've finally got what we'd been begging for. A new generation of NiGHTS fans will now be able to experience what we love so much. Old fans will be able to play the game now for new reasons. And everyone else? Well welcome to something beautiful and life changing that will stick with you for a very very long time.
SEGA have been directly working with the fans on this one.
How do I know?
