I've been meaning to take a picture of my entire collection but kept putting it off until I finished building the one I was currently working on. Then I would start building another one and want to wait again. I finally made myself take the picture before I started working on another one.

My latest build is in the picture but I haven't posted the picture of it yet. So this is kind of a little preview of it. I'm not going to say which one it is but it shouldn't be hard to spot.

I put Porygon in the middle because it was the first papercraft I ever built.

And for those paying attention: One of these things is not like the other.

Another whole year of boring bullshit! Yay!

January: Getting out of the depression of 2011 by working myself out of it with drawing happy stuff. New year resolution was to work more and experiment a bit. Hope it was done trough the year.

February: Busiest month of this year, the February Sketch Challenge of my Sketchtavern bros on Satellitesoda.com pushed motivation. Working hard on Hot Rod Creeps and Axe Cop colors. Together I produced like 60 Illustrations and colored 22 pages in February.

March: Final works on Hot Rod Creeps and new color work on Axe Cop made this month more focussed on payed stuff. Of all, my favourite month was the one with the fewest submissions.

April: Back on track and keep pushing my SWEFS characters and showing them around here. People did not show that much interest in OCs than in the fanarts, but that is a usual reaction. 1st of April is always my fav day of the year.

May: Switching between traditional and digital inking a lot. May was always my fav month of work over the years and this time it was not really the case, but motivated me to work harder in June.

June: Working on the villians of Themrog and showing more of the SWEFS cast.

July: I was always sketching and doing landscapes, but was never really aware about people actually enjoying them. I think they are shallow in my style. But posted one anyway. Doing some experiments here and there. A solid month.

August: Accepting 15 dollar 'sketches' has exploded the requests. Selling yourself cheap always work. Got 35 commissions (still 5 in works). Worked on a short movie that won some prizes. From experimenting point of view and amount of work done, it was one of the best months.

September: The work motivation and productivity continued. Pretty happy with each work I've done in this month.

October: I think October was my busiest month when you look at the number of submissions. Continued the commission list. Private work, family and other problems kept me away from working straight on all commissions.
Still pretty proud of all pics in this month.

November: Stepping a bit back from productivity, but the end of the year is always doing this a bit to me. Close to finishing the commissions.

December: Still a young month. But a bit more braver to show stuff I would scrap or never show around. Let's see what it brings us in the next weeks!

Well, look forward to 2013... or THE END OF THE WORLD!

Full view to read what's written on there, of course.
Also, :iconthewrittenrevolution: members, as I love you all... any thoughts and critique on this?

 Joseph strikes again, my friends. He and his evil deeds, apparently.
To those of you who didn't give a damn about this deviation I just posted, the apologies are at the bottom of this Comment.

I started thinking of this when =StarBoyDeath started writing a news article about some featured that writers seriously need... and I ended up doing a whole draft of how it should look like, which was included in the news article that =StarBoyDeath posted HERE.

I do not precisely know if this is completely “doable”, but I tried to make it the simplest possible and at the same time, the most appealing to writers.
At the same time, however, you saw I wrote “version 1.0”, so that means I’d love to hear your opinions on how this should be modified and which other things you’d like to be able to put inside such a Portfolio designed specifically for writers. :) Critique is requested and appreciated, so yeah, fire away.

I have implemented some “new” things in this project, so let me explain something about those, and others that I will soon implement.

The three new “Gallery Styles”
It goes without saying that literature differs much from visual arts. To be attractive to the visitor, a Literature Gallery needs more than just those few preview words from thumbnails, or a synopsis. It needs the proper presentation.
I of course gave a thought as to how these three Gallery styles should look like; my ideas are nothing close to perfect, however the three names I chose give away a lot as to how they should appear.
“Antique”, of course, should recall an old book feeling. Parchment, leather-bound books, ink and serif fonts are the key points around which everything should be created.
“Modern” is the contrary: it should be sleek, professional, with an almost “austere” air to it. Sans-serif fonts, a clever use of transparency and opacity and a sprinkle of futurism are what this Gallery style needs to really do the trick.
“Vintage” is neither of the two, yet a bit of both. Damask patterns, grunge and typewriter fonts and well-thought textures to give a sensation of ominous elegance can make this Gallery style a beauty to the eye.

Of course, each of them has a different colour palette to match the “Light” and “Dark” layouts that you choose at first.

The two “deviation display options”
The “Preview Image” deviation display option is quite simple to explain. When choosing this option, you’ll be able to upload an image which will display above the title of your deviation on the Gallery page. You may think that this is similar to how thumbnails already work, but it actually isn’t… being able to upload files of bigger size than thumbnails, you can use banner-like images to display the title of your piece, or the cover of your story.
Also, this and the “Titles” option have both the possibility of showing, on the bottom of each deviation, a short synopsis or “introduction” to the piece itself, thus making it easier for someone to pick a piece to read based on their tastes.

The “Titles” option takes away completely the preview image and thumbnail: it only will show the deviation’s title in bigger font and below that, if desired, the synopsis/introduction.

Thumbnails would work in exactly the same way as here on deviantART, with the scroll-down thing and literature tag. If anything, it would keep things “constant” between the Portfolio and the dA account of the writer, which is not as unimportant as it seems.

About works divided into chapters
This is an idea that I haven’t yet created “visually” (simply because of lack of time), but it will come as well… just so you know. :)

So, I feel like I rushed this thing a little bit, but =StarBoyDeath will leave for five weeks soon and we had to do this before he left. Either way, this will be edited if and when I receive feedback, and also according to my -always changing- ideas.

Thank you for surviving this, and I am sorry for wasting your time. If I did so, I didn't mean to. :(

Photo of myself taken courtesy of Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. They are hurting right now financially because they are loseing visitors due to gas prices. Please stop by their website and look at all the beautiful wolves they have there, read about them...and if you'd like you can donate by sponsering one of the wolves, or by visiting the sanctuary (amazing experience!). If you have ANY money (even 5 bucks) to donate, they are in great need right now. Here's the link to their website....
