Well, did you know that flash can be your best friend instead of your worst enemy? It's true! Flash, when used in certain ways, can generally brighten up a dark scene or illuminate objects hidden by shadow, especially when outside!
Some general tips about flash and red-eyeLight gets dimmers the farther it travels. The same is true about flash. So subjects close to the flash when it goes off will be lit up while subjects farther away will be darker or hidden in shadow.
A flash-lit scene may not be evenly illuminated. To solve this problem, use a smaller aperture for subjects close to the flash and a larger aperture for subjects farther away.

There's this one person on here that I said to three days ago that her poem has been done. I had to give her a second reminder around ten minutes ago and I told her that she hasn't even looked at it. I even gave her the link to the poem, so she has no excuse of not viewing it.
I know that most people have a life out of DA (I have as well) but what bothers me is that she was online when I gave her the second reminder and she hasn't bothered replying. And not only that, but I have checked her activity and she has been talking to other people for the past three days as well as commenting on her page to answer other comments.
I'm sorry, but she is being ungrateful as far as I'm concerned. Am I fair to assume that I am being ignored? T

Hi =moria330, filters are a good way of diversifying your photographic opportunities without spending a great deal of money (though, granted, many of the better quality filters can get to be relatively expensive).
In film photography, filters were used a lot more extensively then they are today thanks to the nature of the medium.
For example colour filters were used for white balance purposes on colour films that were balanced for different light types, so, you could shoot artificial light balanced film under daylight if you had a filter that corrected for it.

Some naughty mudkips invaded dA and stole a very important photograph. The stunning photo was a gift for all of you to celebrate deviantART's 11th birthday. It is devastating to confirm it is now missing.
Witnesses say that the mudkips were spotted sneaking out of an open window, but we cannot confirm until a full investigation has been reported and all evidence collected.
In the meantime, the photograph remains missing. $Moonbeam13 is currently searching her spellbook to find a way to bring the image back.
Stay tuned for further updates. A full report will be issued on the 3rd August.
What is a Scuzzle?
A Scuzzle is a combination of a Scavenger Hunt and a Jigsaw Puzzle. There will be lots of missing pieces of this Scuzzle ready for you to find.
