EndermanAs the young blond traced small details onto her map, she wiped a bit of sweat from her brow. For early fall, it sure was hot... Or perhaps that was just the heat of the furnace getting to her? Sighing, Fleet dropped her quill and stood up, dragging her hand through her short, fluffy hair. The day had been long, and the evidence of this was all over her body- Dirty clothes, a small smudge of coal dust on her left cheek... Not to mention the fact that her hands were stained with ink. But all the dirt, all of that dust had been worth it. It was always worth it. Sitting back down again, she didn't even notice the sun setting as she her mind floated in the lala land that most refer to as reverie. Nor did she notice the tall shadow striding towards her house, a diamond block in hand.
No, Fleet was far too lost in her thoughts to even realize that she'd left the door open. Too busy thinking about how she dove down into that cave everyday, and always hauled back such a huge load. Today was th

Now we build.
Bit by bit, block by block. Darkness consumes, but no matter. Moonlight enough, more then enough. So I build-- we build. They are not far, but I am alone. Black skin. White eyes. Long arms. Long legs. Tall, too tall. Building, always building (but why?)

Small tower, getting larger. No joy, never joy, must build. Resources,
Enderman A.End- Pity the TakenWith Fleet's eyes closed, the Enderman let out a gleeful whisper and dropped the diamond block. It's hands now free, it poked the girl's forehead and tilted it's head. She was awake, but not for long. Her eyes shut tight, Fleet suddenly felt a numbness ghosting through her body. Sleep... This thing was making her fall asleep. Unwilling to resist, Fleet's body sunk into an unfeeling paradise, and her mind fell into blackness. Sweet unconsciousness came at a price. The Enderman, it's prize now asleep, poked it's hand deeper into her, until the shadowy arm phased through.Enderman A.End- Pity the Taken2 years ago in Short Stories

The Enderman was little more than a tangible spirit. As it drifted into her body, it began to fill every ounce of Fleet's mental and physical being. Fleet wasn't truly there to witness it, of course. At least, not yet. As it forced itself into her, Fleet's own spirit was being forced out. Finally, with her whole spirit gone, Fleet woke up... Outside of her body, staring with utter terror as she saw her own eyes open. Whi

She opened her eyes, and saw that the Enderman had backed away slightly, and was now holding out a hand to help her up. The blond stared. What... Why on earth? In utter confusion, she grabbed it's hand and let out a yelp as it hoisted her to her feet with ease and held out the diamond block she'd abandoned when she'd run away. But why? Fleet tilted her head and took the block, looking into the Enderman's eyes. It stared back and seemed to quiver a little, but it could still move. Why? Just... Why?
The answer was because it liked those big bright blue eyes, and the shiny hair. The Enderman wondered whether or not the hair was soft. Fleet didn't understand why it was staring at her hair... Did it want to pet her or someth- Her question was answered as it raised it's hand to her head and ran it through her short hair. It sent a small shock through her, jolting her body. It was indeed soft, and the Enderman could detect a

Huh? Don't go! There's no need to be scared. I've never seen this monster before... Must be rumours.
So, what do you call yourself? ... Hehe, that's a strange name. I used to have a name, but now I can't remember... That makes me sad...
Oh, never mind the itching. You probably brushed up against some poison ivy.
So, are you lost? This forest is pretty big... Why don't you stay here a while? I could use the company... And when you need to leave, I could help.
Hm? Oh, no. That looks like a bug bite. No, it doesn't look like an allergic reaction to something. You'll be fine.
Did you come here all alone? Oh, your sister came with you. Where is she...? No, no, I'm just curious as to why she would leave you.
Are your eyes sore? Do you have hayfever? Pollen count is high today... hehe...
No, I didn't say anything. You look sleepy. Maybe you should sit down. Having trouble moving? Oh dear, y

He could not stop the thoughts that poured into his misshapen head-- thoughts of his wrongdoings and the hatred they felt for him. They, they, the other endermen. They hated him for what he did, they out-casted him for his crimes.
="Befriend a human?"
"Love a human?"
"Are you so daft, so silly, so misinformed?"=
And what could he do but sit and accept the accusations?
="We do not do such silly things!"
"Compromised the mission."
And what was this mission now? What drove them so fervently to destroy the natural world and reform it in silly ways? Why was he so compelled to build when it gave him no satisfaction, no affection? Why could he not love? Why was this so wrong?
But he could not deny the charges.
