Chaos and Love By Fire c1Chapter 1
The little, yellow mouse continued on running. He wasn't running away from something, he was looking for any survivors of the destruction rushing past him. Suddenly, the mouse stopped. He just stood there and took in what he saw around him, more destruction. He saw burnt, decrepit remains of trees and grasses that had been burned down. It might've been midday, but the scenery was giving off a grayish brown color, almost as if it was an old photo. The Pikachu wept, it wasn't his home, of course, but this was the third time it happened. He had seen this before, a forest laid to rest with fire, but this was by far the most destruction he'd seen. Looking around, the questions rose in his head again. Who would do such a thing? Why would they destroy Pokémon habitats and leave such utter destruction in their wake? He had come up with the answer to his first question before. He knew exactly who would do this, monsters who didn't give a shit about the health and well being of Pokémon

Misty felt an overwhelming happiness inside her as she hugged Ash. It was like no happiness she felt before; she was back to her old self. Misty was still surprised, however, that Team Rocket was so willing to help. All of a sudden, she noticed a net was covering her and Ash's Pikachu.
"Team Rocket!" Ash screamed. Jessie just hung her head back and laughed along with James and Meowth.
"Did you honestly think we would help you without us getting the benefit?" James said, confusing everyone else.
"What? You mean you did this just for you?" Ash exclaimed.
Yes, and we're quite proud of how it turned out, too." James said, laughing.
'All I wanted was to help you. I never wanted Team Rocket to take you away.' Ash thought.
'I know, Ash.' Misty thought. Ash smiled.
"What is it, twerp?" Jessie asked. Ash laughed and said:
"You forgot about one thing," Ash started. "Misty, Thunderbolt!" At this, Misty turned into her Pikachu form and let loose a Thunderbolt.

Ash, Misty, and Pikachu were walking through Viridian Forest, and about to arrive into Viridian City when they saw a girl about their age, 17-18, draped in a black cloak and straight, long, and glowing blonde hair. Misty noticed she was crying.
"What's wrong?" Misty asked, kneeling down to comfort the crying girl they just met.
"My Pokémon, a Kirlia, ran off when we were training." the girl cried, "What's your name?" she asked.
"I'm Misty" Misty replied.
"And I'm Ash" Ash said, which made the girl turn around and started to cry again.
"What did you do!??" Misty screamed.
"Nothing, I just said my name." replied Ash, defensively.
"It's nothing Ash did" said the girl "he just reminds me of my older brother, Mike. By the way, my name is Cheryl." Cheryl said.
"Did something happen?" asked Ash.
"Mike and I lived in Pewter City with our parents just up the road there" Cheryl gestured pointing towards Viridian Forest. "When Mom mentioned how great it would be to l

"Misty, get out of here!" Ash screamed back at his wife. Tears were beginning to run down Misty's face, she didn't want to lose him.
"No, Ash. I don't want to lose you!" Misty replied. The tears were running down her face so fast, she could hardly tell she was crying.
"Misty, leave! I would rather die than know I got you killed!" Ash screamed. Tears were starting to run down his face as he looked back at Misty with a smile. Misty didn't want him to die, they still had so much life ahead of them, and here Ash was, willing to put his life on the line. No, it wasn't going to happen... Ash was staring down the face of his beloved Pikachu, hate in his heart and eyes. Pikachu's soul was filled with hatred and disgust for his trainer. His brain was ready to get rid of the person who, deep inside, knew as his friend and son. He was under control

Misty was back with Ash in his Mom's house. She was holding onto Ash's hand on the couch as Natalie and Sean looked around their grandmother's place.
"Aw, this is so cool Dad!" Sean exclaimed, holding up his dad's old hat from the Indigo League.
"That hat sure brings back memories." Mrs. Ketchum said.
"Like when Mankey stole it and played keep away?" Misty said, laughing a bit.
"Yeah." Ash said laughing. Soon everyone was laughing.
"Hey, Sean, why don't you see if it fits?" Ash asked. Sean started to put his dad's old hat on his head. He placed on his head and smiled:
"Yay, it fits." He exclaimed, jumping up and down.
"If you want, you can have it." Delia offered.
"Can I Dad?" Sean asked.
"Sure, son." Ash said. He was sort of glad he could pass his old stuff onto his kids.
"Aw, can't I have anything?" Natalie asked, feeling left out.

"Will do, Lily, thanks." Ash said, thanking her for letting them stay in her house. Ash had a wide smile on his face.
"What is it, Ash?" Laura and Lily asked in unison.
"I'm just glad to finally be going home." Ash replied. Misty, who was on Ash's shoulder, was looking up at him with a smile on her face. Ash smiled back, making Misty blush.
"Cheryl, are you coming?" Misty asked.
"Actually, if you don't mind, Misty, I'm gonna stay. I haven't been home in that long and my Mom likes having me home." Cheryl said.

Misty woke up, but was still half asleep. She noticed, quite sleepily in fact, she was still in her Pikachu form. It took her a moment, but then she remembered she had a decision to make: whether or not to be part Pikachu. She was also worried Ash might not like her after she made her decision no, what was she thinking, of course he would still like her. She looked to Ash at her side and tried to wake him up.
"Ash, wake up." Misty said, groggily. Ash himself was half asleep. Once he was mostly awake, Ash turned around to see Misty in her Pikachu form. He was somewhat surprised, that was one of the few times she held her Pikachu form all night. 'Oh, that's right, she has to make that decision today. Better not nag her about it.' Ash thought.

Four years later:
Everyone was sitting there, waiting for two very good friends to get married. Among the guests, besides Ash, Brock and Misty were: Delia and Steve Ketchum, Misty's sisters, Professor Oak, Gary and his parents, May, Dawn, Laura, her fiancée Chris, Rosemary and her kids (Cheryl and Mike), Felicity, Darryl, Caitlyn, and, much to Ash's surprise, Rachel. Ash was looking, and admiring how beautiful Misty was in her wedding dress as she came down the aisle with Mr. Ketchum, since she didn't have parents of her own. As Misty was walking down the aisle to the man she would spend the rest of her life with, the DJ played We Belong Together by Mariah Carey. When Misty and Ash were standing under the overhang, in the Ketchum's backyard, Brock, who was standing where the priest would, read his blessings and introduction.

"Oh, Ash, that's incredible. I'm so happy for you. You've finally got your own place." Delia said over the video-phone Ash and Misty had in their bedroom.
"I'm glad, too. I'm also glad I could get a place in Cerulean with Misty." Ash said. Misty felt nothing but happiness in this moment. Misty planted a kiss on Ash's lips.
"You're sweet, babe, and thanks." Misty whispered.

"What is it, Misty?" Ash yelled up.
"Nothing!" Misty yelled back down. She still didn't like the idea of Team Rocket standing at the base of the magnet.
"Ready, Misty!" Ash yelled up.
"Ready as I'll ever be!" Misty yelled down. She could faintly hear a lever being pulled to activate the magnet. Less than a minute later, she felt a slight pain as the excess electricity was zapped out of her. The magnet turned off, and the strap keeping her on the magnet let go, causing her to fall to the ground.

Delia was silent, paralyzed with fear as she looked at her son, crying. She might've seen her son as a Pikachu on the video phone, but this was different. Ash was right in front of her, talking to them about his life as if nothing happened. This realization could have made Delia have the single greatest meltdown since Ash started his journey, but Ash spoke:
"Mom, is something wrong?" He could tell something was bothering her, but what? She had seen him like this on the video phone. It was the same thing: seeing someone in person versus seeing them on a video phone, wasn't it? It was, in fact, the premise of the invention. Ash wasn't sure why his Mom was crying, but she was. Knowing this, he knew he had to cheer her up. He ran up the couch to where she was sitting, and hugged her. Delia returned this hug, rather tightly, crying as she did so.

Rachel was astounded, despite the fact he might die, Chris kept fighting. The strength of Chris' Flamethrower caused him to fly back into Rachel and knock her to the ground. Pikachu woke up and found himself in a cage. He tried to Thunderbolt it, but the cage didn't budge, instead the attack surged throughout the cage and shocked Pikachu. Misty was still fast asleep. Pikachu wondered what had happened to her. The last thing Pikachu could remember was being held in a rubber glove, crying for Ash's help.

The wind was rushing at my face as I flew through the air was an incredible feeling, it felt like I was weightless and flying, when indeed I actually was. I was on the back of a Pidgeot that I had randomly caught as a Pidgeotto. I was riding on its back with an anthro Umbreon who was only wearing blue seamed briefs. Every other feature, his ears to his legs, was almost identical to an Umbreon's, black fur with scattered rings of bright blue. The blue rings on his fur were illuminating slightly and, given that it was getting dark, helping Pidgeot see where it was flying. I looked down at my hands. It was still surprising that it happened this morning. Thinking back on it, I think I might have acted to rashly...

She was disappointed in herself, she shocked him and turned him into a Pikachu, after she helped him from the fall down the stairs earlier yesterday morning. But she was still curious how it happened, she knew that Ash had been shocked multiple times by his father, who was a Pikachu at the time, as they journeyed together. Ash was essentially immune to Pikachu shocks as a result, so why did he change into a Pikachu when she shocked him? She was deep in thought about this when Steve broke through Misty's isolation in thought:

His eyes were shining from the lights in the building reflecting off them, showing to Misty an awesome blackish-brown color in her son's eyes that reminded her of herself when she was Natalie's age. This blackish-brown color in her son's eyes also showed power, will and strength as well as determination to help his Dad.
