Best friendsYou give your trust
All your heart
Everything that you are
And you do so freely
Never do you hold back
Your likes, your dislikes
What you desire the most
Fear with your every being
I admire you so much
Envious beyond description
Curious beyond recognition
Happy beyond fulfillment
My best friend
There for me
Me for you
Your very clone
Time will only strengthen
Bonds tighter than ever
Long days filled with laughter
Endless nights in chatter
The old and the newLife is like the rising of the sun, with nature's beauty shining through your window. It brings light to the world along with happiness and flowers. Life brings smiles and joy along with bright ideas and intellect folks. Life, however, also comes in hand-n-hand with Death.The old and the new4 years ago in Visual & Found Poetry More Like This
With the dawning of the sun comes the arrival of the moon; and with this new shining sphere is the change of our lives. We may grieve for the lost of our brilliant sun, but with patience and courage, it will return.
The night has passed, the moon has left, time for the grieving to cease. The sting may still be present, for with every moon filled night the memories may arise, but the sun will wash away your heavy burdens and fill your day with glorious guidance.

"You should have chosen him." The voice behind me couldn't quite hide the pain in it, nor could it the relief. I find my eyes closing, wishing I had more time to myself, so I could think my latest decision through. I wipe at the cool trail of tears that stain my cheeks. I had hoped not to be bothered until our arrival at the next port, but that must have been a lot to ask for.
I turn to face him, even though I try my best, and succeed, to avoid his gaze. I know that sooner or laterand most likely sooner than laterthat I'll have to speak with him. I just didn't want now to be it. It seems, however, as though I'll be spared of that chance. Before Jonathon could reach me, the ship gave a threatening lurch. Slipping forward at the unexpected pull, I find myself thrown painfully against his chest, practically crushing him with my much slender b
TrappedI'm stuck in here; my mind,Trapped4 years ago in Visual & Found Poetry More Like This
Stripped of speech and feeling,
Lost in what I thought was shelter;
And now: I cannot escape.
Held in chains forged from Hell;
Bound in ghastly ruins of the brain
No more can I operate effectively.
The Holy Father is not there
Nor has he ever been,
Yet, in this prison I shout for help.
Pressure of a raging temper
Flares and burns; hungry to scorn this
Discomfort by my tormenter.
Vile devil! Wrench! Leave me be,
So I can heal and trust again;
Because it will take a while before I can
Let's hope this dies down quickly;
Sometimes a little help
Can go a long way.

The very same that stares
Where's the facial animation?
All that character?
It's somewhat sad, really
No longer does it smile
Feel sorrow or happiness
The motive of life
Or pull of ambition
Always staring into oblivion
As time passes by Here we sit as time passes us by. We know not of the life that we are missing, for that life has yet to appear before us.As time passes by4 years ago in Visual & Found Poetry More Like This
Words surround our minds, buzz at our ears, distracting us from what's really important. Perhaps if we stop and listen to nature; we'll hear her whispering praise for growth.
Education is the keyor so they say. Knowledge is power and power is the rightful element.
Emotions rule the heart as logic directs the brain. Some say that these control our lives, but I say these are merely organs.
What we learn, we learn through failure. By failing, we gain knowledge to correct and then re-correct our mistakes.
But the real question should be: can we make that leap through life, understand which failures to learn from, and better help planet Earth?
The only way to find out is to stand from our seats and make something of ourselvesto make a difference.
The typical blond"Great, I'm being chased by a mad man. How generic." It was an old time horror scene: a young beautiful youth running through a wide open area with a murderer fully intent on ending her life. Like I really need this; there's a football game tomorrow and I need to be there to cheer them on! Running completely straight with not even a pebble in my way once so ever: I tripped.The typical blond5 years ago in Drama More Like This
I skidded to a painful halt, scraping my knees, elbows and hip on the hard earth. Momentarily forgetting the danger I was in like the dumb, short attention spanned cheerleader that I amI sit up in a freeze-frame fashion to look at the damage. Torn skin and little blood, but I still cry anyway.
A short distance away I hear my stalker. He's getting closer, gaining on me in my dazed state. Hurrying to my feet, I rushed shakily forward, looking around frantically, and failing horribly to find a safe place to hide. "Thus, the damsel in distress," rolling my eyes far too hard in their sockets, I suddenly stop

Over the course of decades, acres of creativity withered, making the plane of imagination a desolate place. The trees that had borne the seeds and fruits of Inspiration, once grand, beautiful works of nature, were stripped bare and stood as tombstones; a reminder of what once had been alive. The people of that land weren't the only ones who suffered. The effects of this reverberated throughout the universe, and from the physical plane, there were rumors that the entire world had gone to war twice.
Needless to say, it was a great time for non-fiction.
Until one character finally said, enough was enough. Inspiration had led them for centuries, but if there was nothing new to work with, then they'd make do with reinventing the old.
When the first Creative Guild was founded, imagination was made into a business overnight and the world caught on fire with a renewed fervor. Years passed by in this sort of glorious chaos, with old storylines giving w
