Here's another shot of the werewolf figure in progress, he's about 7.5 inches tall, and pretty bulky. He still has quite a ways to go, and I'll be tweaking and smoothing everything as I go...along with adding more detail with the fur as I go. Sorry for the crappy glare, the snarl is pretty detailed but the light is washing it out some. The foil pieces are just to support him while I work...those will be removed as I'm finishing him. I still need to sculpt the left arm, feet and tail..along with the back of the figure, but he's getting there!
I'll be selling castings and painted castings of this figure once he's all finished for around $200.00-$250.00. Feel free to note me or comment here if you're interested . I should have this sculpt done in about a week! Close up view of the face so far can be seen here... [link]
Here's my first pendant of 2012 in it's completed stage! This is done in the color tone I call a "BONE" wash. I sell these so please read on for details! (more colors coming, but check my other designs for colors this can be made in)
I decided on the name "Heaven's Loyalty"...there's no division in heaven, and a wolf is symbolic of loyalty to many people I think . I almost named him "Scooby FLEW" but...just kidding....
Each piece takes hours and hours, and costs for supplies for these are a bit high. I sculpted the original out of Supersculpey Firm mixed with regular Supersculpey. Finished pieces are cast in a DURABLE light weight resin, and corded with leather, and two glass beads. Each pendant is $30.00 with a FLAT shipping/handling rate of $5.00 **ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD**. Most of the time I can take pendant color, AND bead color requests depending on what I have on hand. Please check out my gallery for this design, and others, in other colors!
This design is COPYRIGHT 2012 Angela Pileggi (AKA AMP, Meadowknight). Do not use this design or image without my permission, thanks!
Wipeout, Feisar and it's designs are Copyright Studio Liverpool, AKA Psygnosis . This is strictly a work of fan art all done by hand, and no machines were used! If you haven't played Wipeout...check it out...amazing and unique racing games!
For sale! I am only making 30 of these, and have 4 already spoken for! Read on for details please.
I apologize for the semi-crappy pic, it's a little fuzzy and doesn't do my paint job justice at all. I'll be submitting a better pic when I get the chance, and will post photos of custom paint jobs as well.
Specifications/Materials/Pricing: This figure is very time consuming and costly to make. He's 9" tall, but very bulky and would probably be 11 or 12 inches tall if he wasn't crouching . The base is about 6.5 inches at the widest, and 4.5 at the deepest. It took me weeks to sculpt the original, then I made the mold which also took a lot of work. Then I cast him in a sturdy polyurethane resin. The resin castings take HOURS to clean up the mold flaws to make one of these ready to paint. I also painted this figure, which took about 24 hours give or take...normally I'd take 2 or 3 days to paint one of these, but I had to get him ready fast to display in time for an event. The resin I use is very expensive and sturdy, similar to a very hard plastic...so one of these is very unlikely to break or chip. Even the paint job is pretty tough. This is not a toy that's mass produced, but a limited, one of a kind art piece. Yet it's probably more sturdy than most action figures on the market, lol.
Note: This is NOT pose-able, it's a statue.
I am only making 30 for sale, and I will mark the base "5/30", etc. on each piece so you know which number yours is out of the 30 . I am charging $300.00 for a fully painted one (choose a custom paint job, that comes with the price!), or $250.00 for a plain casting you can paint yourself. Plain castings are ALL ready to paint, I clean up all the seams and flaws and wash these with soap and water. I'm also charging $15.00 shipping to anywhere in the US. I WILL ship overseas, but will need to make sure shipping isn't more than $15.00. I charge for my time and supplies...not the fact these are special and I'm only making 30 ...so get them while you can! My signature and the year ((C) 2011 Angela Pileggi) I carved into the original sculpt, and is duplicated like the rest of the details in all the castings. I can also sign my name with a pen along the underside of the base upon request.
If this is out of your price range but you wouls still like to buy from me, I have items that range from $25.00 to $50.00 in my etsy store, mostly sculpted pendants. You can visit my etsy shop here (I have werewolf pendants!). I will be adding 2 new designs to my etsy asap as well (a dragon and griffin pendant)- [link]
To order: Just send me a note or e-mail me at email@example.com. The way I work is, I will take your request, finish the piece, take a photo for you...and if you're satisfied, then you would pay me and I would ship it out within 3 to 4 business days. For specific paint jobs, just talk to me about it, and/or send me references . I accept Paypal and postal money orders, but Paypal is preferred.
About the design: This is my depiction of a werewolf, pure and simple! This paint job I did for myself, is supposed to be similar to a black wolf's coloring (they have brown hues naturally, that I love!). Werewolves are my favorite monster/creature, and I really did my best on this piece . I had fun trying to make him a little different than other people's designs, giving him 5 digits on his hands and feet like a human...but also adding a superficial dewclaw of a wolf, for an extra monstrous/wolfy look! I looked at both human and wolf anatomy as reference for sculpting this beastie. For the base I looked at some old mossy stones in photos of ancient ruins, and also a few actual rocks I set on my art table by me while sculpting. I sculpted every bit though, using Supersculpey Firm, mixed with a dash of regular Supersculpey. I also used bent floral wire, a large sewing needle, a razor blade, and two wooden sculpting tools to form him (aside from my fingers, lol).
More pics of the original sculpt can be seen here! (for different views, etc.)...

NOTE: I just set this as my "featured" deviation"...because it's work I'm proud of even though it's simple and amateur...and I don't think many people on my DA know I did this since I do mostly sculpting! So here ya go ...comments would be much appreciated, I know it's not perfect, but I'm not really an "animator", and this was my first real attempt. I still like it, and feel it portrays my original characters well though.

NOTE: If animation isn't smooth (this is a large file), let it play through once, on the second loop it should play fine! I viewed it on two different computers and that worked.
My completed midterm for Animation 101. This is my FIRST animated short with two original characters I created, who I'm writing a story/universe for. Please don't be overly critical as I'm just learning animation . Comments are always VERY appreciated! I worked hard on this, and have my friend Star to thank for putting it together for me in Flash since I don't have that program. Thanks Star!
P.S. This is supposed to have sound, but not sure if that's possible to post on DA. My dad is a musician and I used one of his songs for this. If I can post the sound version I will.

Description: This piece I created for my dad as a Christmas present originally, then decided to make a mold and cast these up for sale as well . My dad collects rhinos, they're his favorite animal...and I've grown up admiring his collection of various rhino figurines and art pieces/decorations. It's nice to be able to add to his collection as an artist! I chose a steampunk style theme for this one as I thought it'd be cool with a tough armored animal like a rhinoceros ! My dad is also an amazing guitar player and sometimes plays live, so this is something cool and unique he can wear to shows. Also, the style of the piece is something a man or a woman could wear as it's not too feminine or too masculine.
How I made this and what you get with your order: I sculpted the original out of Supersculpey Firm, then made a silicone mold. I cast identical duplicates in a sturdy light weight resin mixed with a gray pigment. Each piece also has a slight silver sheen by using a mold FX powder. The black detailing is a paint wash, and the eye is painted a bright magenta. Each piece has slight differences since I paint them all by hand, but the quality is the same for each piece, and each casting is identical thanks to the silicone mold from my original. As a final touch each piece is coated with a satin clear coat, strung on a leather cord, and crimped with two 9mm glass crow/pony beads (one hematite colored and one clear). The sculpted piece not including the cord is just under 2 inches long, and about 1.5 inches wide at the widest point. Leather cording length is approximately 30 inches long total before being looped/crimped.
Thank you for looking/reading, and please take a look at my other work, and pendants for sale !
