RemembranceCan you remember the first time
you caused my heart to flatline?
I remember it all to clear
like my greatest fall with out the fear.
Do you recall the day where everyword
chosen to say and every phrase we dropped
caused us to stay?
I keep this thought on repeat
a thought i wont let go, a thought i want to keep.
Can you think of the months
where we pulled the most unforgettable stunts?
Getting caught kissing under the stars
riding in the backseats of cars.
It was you and i running through summer shocking the world
stunning eveyone in sight.
We had the world as our stage but its time for us to take a bow......
I Saw Stars"Reach for the stars" you said.I Saw Stars9 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I stood on tip toe and felt the air close in on me.
I was reaching for oxygen as much as stars.
My eyes and my lungs needed more than I could get.
You sit on the moon, swinging your feet, laughing.
Tears fall from my eyes and you yell down at me
"If you were at the height I am, you could pass that off for rain."
I ran inside the abandoned building that used to be "home".
The peeling paint chipped and when I looked, it was under my fingernails.
I scrapped my way to the room at the very top.
I looked up at the small lightbulb and watched it flicker out.
The window was missing too, a tree branch reaching into the room.
I let it take me and knew it was time to end everything.
It set me down on the moon and I landed facedown, lifeless.
You walked over and kicked me in the ribs.
"Get up. Reach for the stars. Hurry up, your time's almost up."
You held my hand and helped me up but when I got to my feet you let go and my knees unhinged.

you make me feel as cheap as a 5.
Strong as currents we thought
we'd make it off of pure lust and lies.
So prince not so charming,
take me under your umbrella

Waltzing in circular pattern diamonds and pearls threaded around necks like nooses at a mass execution.
Romance is inhaled and exhaled like oxygen with a hint of a hallucinogen.
1's and 2's 3's and 4's minnoettes and peiroettes dancing to pretend we're happy dancing to deny pain.
(hurt will always hit with perfect aim)
Depressed with smiles pressed against teeth and lips.
Looks, stares, promises, and dares we dare to find what we call happiness on this dance floor.
(maybe something more)
This night was unwanted but still we taunted romances edge with the pledge of hips to hips.

space inbetween the thing we call
we call distance, our home.
Where we find comfort in almost anything.
Just to keep our minds racing,
dream of things we only fantasize of.
And its 4PM somewhere greater than we could think up.
December sells intentions to us high hoping thinkers.
Magically the stone cold unthaws,
making soft spots on your lungs.
Taking it all in
Taking me in
With skyline seating.
So shoot too high,
dont dare aim low
Beauty is waking up with sunrise smiles on your pillow.
This is exactly how we'd thought it would be.
Its kissing under trees
with a light summer breeze
we belong so well.
"My favorite game is making you speechless."
"Teasing with anticipation kills me slightly."
Lining thinly jet streams across the sky
and the only thoug
Single Handedly Sinking MyselfWhen I saw you at a distant glance, I felt hope tugging on the bottom seams of my shirt. And it made me think "maybe someone can make you feel completely sane and secure." But yet he is just a boy and I'm just a girl that goes unnoticed. Even if I made an attempt to stand out I'm sure he would never be interested. I could drop hints like bombs in war and still not make a dent in his thoughts. Or break this ice between him knowing and not knowing I actually exist. So I'll look down grasping my books as I blend in with everyone else in the crowded hallways of this school. "Hannah Hannah Hannah, get your heads out of the clouds. It's where high hopes are suppose to be, out of reach." I won't even listen to myself anymore. What's so special about him anyways? There are millions of others and they all seem to be the same.Single Handedly Sinking Myself9 years ago in General Non-Fiction More Like This
Yet everyday, for 3 years now, I've been falling apart slowly. With his words he never says to me and the looks that aren't focused in on me I'm disheartened even mor
