This was a painting i did for an avertising illustration class. I was supposed to make an advertisement for a clown convention or something which had to involve conflicting emotions. This was the result. As you can see i didn't care much about conforming to the set assignment. I did something i would like. It ended up being one of my stongest pieces yet and got me into the Society of Illustrators annual student exhibit. Screw clowns and screw advertising illustration. pencil and watercolor on watercolor board.
