With this i was thinking modern Greek warrior, lots of people seem to go for the ancient look for Wonder Woman but I feel the Amazons would have advanced as a civilization regardless of being in isolation. I'm not sure of the extent of her invulnerability so I just gave her basic armor.
I was going to scrap the gold in favor of all silver, but the red and gold scheme just worked for me on the body armor, I drew a blank with the feet though.
Seeing as Wonder Woman is a given name I went with the eagle instead of the WW as an emblem - it just makes sense to me.
Wonder Woman Redesign. Pulled inspiration from a few artists to make this version. I always seem to be intimidated do draw her. Maybe its because I struggle to find that 'look' for her that's 'my' look, ya know? All and all, I think I got it as close right FOR ME as possible.
Sorry Jim Lee, you were a god in the 90s and you blessed the world with Wildstorm comics and America's Best Comics but you, dear sir are depressingly out of touch when it comes to female super heroine attire. This is how a warrior goddess posing as a super hero would dress...
As I saw the costume design of the Wonder Woman tv show, I thought to myselfe, "man you canīt do anything wrong if you try to redesign this character". So I mixed her up with a little spacegirl touch and here we are. WONDER WOMAN - Space Amazon Thanks to Project Rooftop for posting this. [link]

Maybe not everybody likes the DCnU Wonder Woman's new costume, it could be too "techno" for a hero-fairy tale amazon princess.
But I have to say something.... it is REALLY FUN to draw!!!, I spend the dead times at office doing it, and as a friend of mine says, I'm just a wondy's fan from hell.
I try this time to draw her with a younger and prettier face than the last time because DC declared that this new versions are younger, and sometimes the history of wonder woman looks to me like a fairy tale princess totally emancipated, suddenly placed in our days.
