Confession - BMWWFirst time he says it, she's poisoned and fighting for her life. There is no chance she can hear him. She's laying in fever and doesn't move even one finger. And he, on the other hand, is scared out of his mind, suddenly realising that there is no way for him to go on without her. Just after the others leave and he is alone at her bed, he leans to her ear. His fingers brush the jet-black hair on a side and he whispers to her; the words so quiet that he's not sure he's actually said them.Confession - BMWW3 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

When few hours later she's awake, he does not repeat his confession. Instead he gives her a lecture how recklessly and unprofessionally she behaved, letting their enemies catch her in a trap.
First time she says it, she's standing at his grave, clasping a shred of his cape in her clenched fist. Tears are strolling down her cheeks and harsh wind is hitting her face. She is tired and broken. She never thought something can hurt that much. She kneels on the ground and to

"Where I'm from when stones are piled like that, it usually marks a burial site."
Mustang did not allow his mask of neutrality to slip despite his bewildered interest. He nodded, already aware of the custom but not wanting the student to learn the fact.
Alfonse received the gesture as a sign to continue. "After I saw that, I got a little freaked out; so I started back to the road. I didn't come close to the house like you told me, but I heard something from the house It was so short, I wondered for a second if I even heard it right "

When she returned to the kitchen, Sig was gathering items he thought would be necessary to transport Edward comfortably. Wrath stood warily in the corner.
"Wrath, help Alphonse," Izumi ordered, although she knew the boy did not need-and very likely did not want-assistance with his brother. She wanted Wrath to not be afraid of a frightening situation-or to be a useless spectator during one.
"He doesn't have tuberculosis. Get over there."
Wrath scampered to Edward and Alphonse without further protest.

Edward opened the door and continued inside briskly. "Wrath, hurry up," he barked, "We're going to be late!" He proceeded to the dining room in search of the boy.
"Looks like Wrath isn't the only one who slept in this morning," a woman in a white dress and apron declared while she slid a pile of scrambled eggs onto a plate. Her dark-brown hair twisted in tiny braids to gather into a ponytail at her crown and swished when she turned. "Morning, boys."
"Morning, Teacher!" Edward and Alphonse chimed.
"Where's Wrath?" Alphonse asked.
The woman held up four fingers and counted off as she lowered each one in time. As the final finger lowered, a thirteen-year-old boy sprinted into the dining room and crash-landed on the nearest vacant chair. His long, wild and untamed hair was quickly shoved out of his way as he threw food on his plate while repeating, "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!

Trisha scooped Alphonse into her arms so he could place a can of green beans on a high shelf, swaying her head to one side so her long brown hair would move out of her path. She had not heard everything her oldest son said. "What is it?"
"He's not moving," he elaborated. "Is he dead?"
She suddenly ran to the bedroom, setting her youngest son down outside the door without skipping a beat. Trisha brushed past Edward to kneel at the preteen's bed. "Envy?" she alerted. (Author's Notes: I don't know what I was thinking. Anyways, I'd like to say offhand that I don't want you all to get the wrong impression – I LOVE Soul Calibur's characters. (Except maybe Voldo.. but you couldn't have Soul Calibur without Voldo. ..And Necrid, but he's not really a Soul Calibur character so much as a 'hey, let's get Todd McFarlane's fans' attention' ..And Inferno, but I don't count him as a 'character' anyway.. (Ooo.. Slam…….)) Also, Kilik's haiku may not make sense to many of you. The double meaning of 'Bo' found in the third line refers to the 'Divers' in Parasite Eve II who say 'Bo.' I love those little things and like the idea of Kilik being completely lost in the modern Parasite Eve world so I decided to keep it ; Another note is that Necrid's quote in his haiku is from Richter Belmont in 'Castlevania: Symphony of the Night' - Oh yeah! And I (obviously) have the GameCube version so Haihachi and Spawn are not Haiku-

Patricia & Richard O' Doherty are fraternal twins of Irish descent. Raised in an orphanage in Gotham City due to their parents dying when they were still very young, Patricia & Richard idolized Batman, Robin and Batgirl, even aspiring to be Robin and Batgirl someday.
On Halloween when they were 12 years old, they both had superhero inspired outfits made by one of the women at the orphanage for them to go trick or treating in. After getting all the candy they could handle, the twins witnessed a man being brutally beaten in an alleyway and decided to try and help him only to almost get beaten down themselves. Batman arrived on the scene and drove the thugs off, but yelled at the kids for their recklessness and running into the situation when they could've easily died.
Richard & Patricia didn't care as they just wanted to help, but after this incident their hopes and dreams were dashed and thus the twins ceased idolizing the "Batman Family". Several months later the twins witnessed The Jo

I came downstairs one morning after a night of fitful sleep to find Bigfoot in my living room, reading the latest issue of Reader's Digest. He wore an orange hunting jacket and asked if I would mind getting him a cup of coffee since I was up. The experience frazzled me so much that I accidentally brought him tea. I handed it to him, and he accepted it with a look of quiet but understanding disappointment.
"I'm terribly sorry to impose on you," he said in his rather charming vibrato, "but this is the only house for miles. Would it be possible for me to stay here for a few days? I've gotten into a bit of a mess with some hunters –nothing that'll put you in any sort of trouble, of course. Just a minor scuffle, really- but I need to lay low for a while. Figure out how to handle this."
I felt very peaceful hearing his speech, since I thought it was a dream, and if I was dreaming that meant I was sleeping and getting some much-needed rest

Janet Van Dyne quickly made her way to the door, curious as to who the visitor could be after she had been informed of the arrival of the visitor by JARVIS, the artificial intelligence system that was intergrated into the mansion by Tony Stark himself. She had just changed out of her Avengers attire and into her normal, more comfortable clothing which consisted of a raven-black & gold short-sleeve t-shirt and a pair of khaki pants when JARVIS announced the presence of their unexpected guest. Once JARVIS had informed her, Janet rushed down the staris at a speed that seemed almost impossible, even for someone as fast & agile as she was. Coming to a stop directly in front of the doors, Janet made sure to smooth out her clothing, wanting to look her best as always when greeting a guest.

Even with all the kayos erupting around him, the only thing Captain Steve Rogers kept harkening back to was the bet he'd placed with Nick Fury. Before the Avengers; before alien invaders; before he suited up and became Captain America again; before his life was turned upside down in a matter of days he had simply made the off remark that after witnessing the 21st century, there wasn't much left to surprise him with. Fury thought otherwise, and bet him ten bucks.
And now, as the fully suited captain flung his shield at a group of beings from another galaxy, he calculated that, by now, he owed the director a few hundred dollar bills.
It certainly was an odd feeling, even as he raced through the heart of New York City-his years of instincts and skills guiding him along. He ha
