The Escape -part 2-Ossido waited patiently as the older man fumbled for the light switch. Moments later, the lights turned on, revealing the living room they'd just entered. It was large, and decorated in a way that said 'hello, I have lots of money'. That wasn't what caught Ossido's interest, however. As soon as the lights went on, his eyes were drawn to a grandiose collection of swords, knives, and daggers that were all well-polished and mounted on the wall. He flinched slightly when he felt the man's hand suddenly on his shoulder, "Are you alright? You still seem to be in a bit of a shock, there..." Ossido turned to face him and chuckled disarmingly, "No, no, I'm just fine! I was just... admiring your collection." A small hint of something sinister entered his smile, but the man missed it completely as he began to swell with pride once again. "Ah yes, my blades! I started collecting them way back in the day, when I was in the army... I polish them every day, I do! Just look at them shine! But... Ive decided to post everything from the beginning to the end to keep everything as it is. Some parts have been modified due to language and some unnecessary parts
This all started with MaidenWolfs response to a long argument in one of my deviations between many people over a small matter
MaidenWolf: Whoaz, that fist page of comments and hower long the idiocy may continue is full of nothing but dumb craps. "Hey! People! Get off ur fat asses and read a book or go to school!" I had no idea people could be that freakin' stupid.
Nice animation Emptyshadow. It flowed really well, and it was really cute and hilarious.

The Escape -part 1-Ossido sighed at the rapidly-darkening sky as he slogged through the mud. It was becoming a... slight annoyance, especially when he was currently in the middle of fleeing. No doubt, he had gotten a little careless. There were quite a few witnesses that had showed up rather unexpectedly, right when he was in the middle of killing that one guy... Fortunately for Ossido, he didn't quite look like himself at the time. They wouldn't be able to track him down that easily. He chuckled quietly to himself as he peeled the last of the fake skin off his arm, leaving it to sink into the mud behind him.The Escape -part 1-6 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Still, that particular town was more closely-knit than he had thought. One little death sent the whole place into an absolute uproar! From that uproar, of course, sprung forth vigilante justice that just happened to be able to track him pretty closely for the past few hours. The mud, once again, really wasn't helping. It left a trail that was as plain as day to the classic angry mob. O

It was very late by the time Spencer finished his latest attempt at a cure. "Hopefully," he said, downing the horrible-tasting mixture and grimacing, "this won't kill me. Or make me into a magical science pony, like last time." He braced himself, and waited.
THE NEXT DAY:
Robo-N was skipping along down the street and singing in a lovely Disney Princess-esque voice, while the merry townsfolk sang along. UNTIL- Something happened! A new challenger appeared! A car went flying overhead, thrown by a very familiar-looking monster. Robo-N recognized it as Spencer's beast form right away. A guy crawled out of the car wreckage. "Uh... I'm okay... Just bleeding and *sniff* crying..." "HEY YOU" she said, pointing verily forth at the monster, and thusly ignoring the poor injured fellow, "Cut that out!" She ran off towards the monster. "I'm fine... really..." said the guy, a little more loudly, "No need to take me to a hospital or anything... I'm peachy keen-

Going to bring Bink's Sake!
Let the sea breeze lead the way!
On the waves all of our days
Across the salty deeps!
The sun above is floating high,
Painting circles in the sky.
Sea gulls sing and brass bells ring
Upon our floating home!
Say goodbye to all you know;
Head into the sun's warm glow.
Singing loud and singing proud,
We sail into the night!
Waves of gold and silver splash
Across the hull and mizzen mast.
We float on, all with a song,
To the ends of the sea!
Going to bring Bink's Sake,
A pirate's job for pirate's pay!
Like a stone, our boat skips on
And slices through the seas!
On clouds above we'll rest our head;
The rocking ship will be our bed.
On our flag the skull and dag-gers
Show we're to be feared!
If the waves dare dance too high,
If dark clouds obscure the sky,
Beat the drum and never run;
Live for that fateful dance!
If, in fear, you turn away,
You'll never see the break of day.

Karl looked up at the professor. He wasnt sure why, but he liked her less than the good doctor. Wheres Doctor Tarr? Not that I like him, I just hate you more, he added silently.
Oh hell meet up with us later, Fether said nonchalantly, drawing a pistol from her long coat. She cocked it with a cheerful grin. Now Tarr said you gave him some trouble yesterday so lets take some precautions this time around, shall we? We dont want a repeat performance. Her tone at the end made it abundantly clear that she was rather irked to hear about his bad behavior.
Are you sure? Im built to entertain, you know. Karl smiled

Making the small differences in the world...Does what
one does to make the small change really matter?
Introduction; The Problems and Where They Lie
There are many big issues happening in the world, regarding poverty, disease, human rights, animal rights, environment, and many others.
There are many people who act upon this to help improve them, but there are also people who dont believe in small changes because the problem is too big, and often criticize those who try.
Deal with it, some would say. Thats how the world goes. Theres nothing we can do about it.
It is agreeable that life, to some extent, stinks. However, dealing with a situation does not necessarily mean remaining passive and watching the problems grow; this does not solve anything better either.
The problem does not simply lie in the problem itself, the causes of the problem, or the size of small efforts, that mak
True strengthStrength.True strength6 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
The definition of strength varies among people.
Some people believe that strength comes from being superior.
Winning all the time, making others lose, pointing their weaknesses, and condescending them.
They believe that strength comes from how much they don't fall.
But a true strength is not determined by how much weakness they don't have.
It's determined by their strength to embrace and accept their weaknesses.
There is nothing wrong with being weak or wrong, or not knowing something.
Because what really matters is how they acknowledge and accept these weaknesses and strive for improvement.
A show of ignorance or an offensive response is merely a cover over their desperate need to hide and deny their weaknesses.
It's easy to deny, to be seen strong. But they can't fight their inner desperation of such greed.
It takes a lot to accept. It takes true strength to admit mistakes, admit defeat, to overcome their inner desire to be superior.
It's okay to have weaknesses

Chapter 1: Arrival
The cold night air made my skin shiver as it blew into the broken window. Here, I sit; waiting to be rescued. My body lie still on the concrete floor beneath me, barely conscience, I tried to move my legs; but they would not obey. I opened my eyes slightly and caught the sight of the full moon glowing in the night sky. I groaned quietly; not wanting to alert the dead.
Arrrgh what the hell happened? I said to myself. I had a gaping wound in my forehead, as I felt it, I could feel the dried blood. I looked around cautiously, and my eyes fell to the ground. There, right beneath me, was my ID card, stained with blood. In bold, black letters, it read MARK RHAYNE on the top. I flicked it away with my hand, and it fell to the hard floor with a soft sliding sound.
I remembered everything that happened in recent weeks. The outbreak of the deadly mutagen, known as the Rot Virus, happened only three weeks ago. In those three weeks, life was hell.

Radioactive Bunny looked around. The living room was dark, the only light coming from the moon shining in through the window. There wasn't a single noise other than that of crickets chirping. He was the only one in the house awake... Perfect. Gripping the remote like a bandit, he snuck over to the couch and climbed up onto the cushions. He couldn't afford to use the little elevator he'd constructed; it made too much noise.
Just for the sake of caution, he paused to look around again. His surroundings were silent and still. The coast was clear. Aiming the remote, he hit the power button, and the small TV screen flickered to life. It flickered to life, and was blasting every sound it made! Shaken, he quickly turned the volume down all the way and surveyed his surroundings once again, searching desperately for the sound of anyone waking up. Nothing. He sank into the cushions, trying to relax. Relax... that was something he'd apparently forgotten how to
