Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny NunsI recently learned that the stereotypical "Japanese Fan Girl" is not some sort of mythical sasquatch of popular culture. I know they exist because my work somehow attracted the attention of one.Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny Nuns2 years ago in Personal More Like This
She showed up online one day and started posting weird fan-art and (thanks to google translate) weirder messages.
It was amusing, if a little creepy. Especially when someone found a few pictures she had drawn of a decidedly underage version of myself being violated by tentacles.
I let that slide because, hey; she was a Japanese Fan-girl. They're innately odd.
But then it turned out she was actively following me around the internet, frequenting the same sites and forums as me. Specifically B3TA; a place where you really shouldn't go unless you speak English, have a tough skin and an understanding of serrated British humour.
Fan-girl did not, and was subsequently torn to shreds.
Despite everyone's advice, however (including mine and most of the B3TAns) she kept going back. As such, I don't have m

Phew. That lighting is hard. I think I will reserve it for more important shots.
Anyway, the first scene I've done of Fire Tiger vs Acid Panther. If anyone's curious.
I won't upload any more scenes, as I'd like the film to be at least a bit of a surprise.
Oh wait, I just realized there are a couple of frames cut off the end. Oh well, not missing much.
ATalkHappy Easter everyone! I feel like... I just want to talk today. Because I think there's things I've learned and feel and think that sometimes I just want to say.ATalk2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Let's start with stories.
What I find great about any form of storytelling is how honest it is. There is no other form of shared knowledge that can teach us how to live our lives better. None. That being said, we see stories in everything. We look at a tree with a fence grown into it, and think of when the fence must have been built, who may have built it, etc. We see a couple arguing on the street and ponder as to what could have gotten them to this point. We hear a snapping twig in the woods, and plan our escape route from whatever magnificent beast lurks in the brush! As human beings, we LOVE stories. But why?
We love stories because they teach us how to live. Think about any good movie, book, or other story. It should have moved you in some way. Some stories teach us how to deal with the intense hardship
JOURNEY, Best game i had ever playedThis got to be the most amazing game i had ever played in my entire life. Been a gamer for almost 30 years, played all type of games, including hentai games, hhahahahha. But i was not satisfied at 100%, i mean final fantasy 7, zelda, shadow of the colosus, call of duty, pacman. All games were amazing, especially Shadow of the Colossus that almost gave me a 95% satisfaction.JOURNEY, Best game i had ever played2 years ago in Personal More Like This
And i asked myself, i had seen it all, i topped the gaming genre, i wont cry again for the beauty and sadness like Shadow of the Colossus anymore.
I WAS WRONG-
I bought the collectors edition, i highly recommend it.
There were times i just sight and enjoyed the view of the landscapes, hearing the wind sound, then i noticed the loneliness, and felt bad, so each time i saw a companion i was so happy to begin a journey with them. I felt sad when a monster eats my companions, you truly care about them.
At first i was like damn there is another player go away, leave me play alone, but the more you play, the more loneline
Wacom Horror Warning peopleI realized i just been living in a lie. Been coloring with the wrong icc profile for almost 6 years. Its because all this time i had a secondary monitor like 8 years old that ive never notice it. I just bought recently a cheap and amazing monitor 23 inches aoc, and noticed that my cintiq tablet colors looked washed away.Wacom Horror Warning people2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I asked myself why all my drawings in deviant art dont look like in my cintiq, they look washed away or burned.
Because of two problems.
I have all my files in adobe 1998 icc, which its good for printing but not web browsing, but the most horrible one, its that the cintiq21ux.icc that came in my cd was really wrong. Got the correct one in a wacom europe page, my cintiq its first generation, so new drivers sucked hard doesnt work.
Also warning for those that have same old cintiq like me, new drivers screw up the pen, cuts the pressure in half or gives weird pressure to it-, and worst ive been coloring with pen pressure wrong and color really bad.

Also, PCBC is over, sadly. I, and many others, loved it so.
I have to agree with the crit I've recieved from the judges, there are so many things that I need to improve on and their constant feedback is always appreciated!
I can safetly say that there has been major improvements in my grammar and some anatomy, thought they can still be pushed further.
Though, I was kind of sad that MikeMoroney couldn't fully finish his entry. This was the last round so I was kind of hoping they'd extend it again for him, but alas.
But yes, it was fun.
See you in IPL!
But for now, back to contracts and comissions!

We spent about two hours there with one of their story artists, Adrian Molina. *u* Although the first 30 minutes we just all sat and talked and ate delicious burritos underneath a gorgeous painting from Toy Story 3.
Then he looked at my portfolio, which he liked quite a bit. He said I was twice as good as he was at my age, but I ought to loosen up my figures. Then he looked at my sketchbook, which he was super impressed with. He said I should just make my portfolio look more like my sketchbook, and I'd be a shoe-in at CalARTs. xD So that was super cool! He's super nice and says to email him with his portfolios or any art or questions and he'll give me suggestions. c:
After lunch he showed us a little bit of the studio (although we weren't allowed anywhere with actual work going on, which was too bad). But I got to see TONS of concept work for Brave, which looks pretty cool! I can't really disclose any info about it obviously, but it definitely looks a little better a

Nintendo Direct unveiled a bunch of big announcements the other day, the highlights being a HD remake of Wind Waker, announcement of a new Zelda, a new Yoshi's Story game, a new 3D Mario game, a new Mario Kart game, and a new Smash Bros game to be unveiled at E3 this year. Other info like a possible sequel to Xenoblades, updates on Bayonetta 2, and a forthcoming WiiU firmware update that'll alleviate some of the sluggish load times and unlock the Virtual Console (as well as the announcement that Gamecube games and GBA games will be possibly sold in the eShop).
Quite a lot of info, but here's my question. Why is everyone surprised at it? I've lived through every console generation with Nintendo and I can honestly say, a lot of this wasn't really a surprise to me. Like, yeah of course they're gonna make a new Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and 3D Mario game. It's friggin' Nintendo. Why is that a surprise? It's not like those are second tier franchises like Metro
Good Grief.I wish satire/sarcasm wasn't so easily missed on the internet. It's really discouraging to create something that obviously is meant to be taken as a joke, only to see hundreds of people respond to it like it's "serious business."Good Grief.1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Fandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals On FandomsFandoms, Criticism Vlog, and Journals1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Like most people, I'm a fan of a lot of things. However I don't often wade deep into fandoms themselves. For example, I like MLP:FiM, but I wouldn't call myself a hardcore Brony by any stretch of the imagination, as is evident by my continued botches of cutie mark colors (something no hardcore fan would EVER screw up).
Part of the reason I don't delve too far into fandoms is because fans can get very... emotional... about their given fandom. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can sometimes be a crutch. I like a variety of series, but I'm not gonna throw a tantrum because of an episode name, or an animation mistake, like some people do. I don't like how angry or defensive fandoms can get sometimes, and for the most part I think people need to just calm down and relax and not be so standoffish.
Fans are, for the most part, good people who are just enthusiastic about a show or series. Just try to keep that enthusiasm from dipping into the negative side of thing
MCM updatesHey everyone. A lot has happened within the past few days, some good and some bad, so I figured I should just give a quick update.MCM updates2 years ago in Personal More Like This
First off this convention has to be one of the busiest and biggest conventions I have ever been to. I mean, I've been to the NYC comic con before and it was nothing like this! The turnout has been absolutely fantastic! Thank you everyone for coming out to see me!
I've had a few fans give me artwork and that's always a treat. One even reshape my kneaded eraser into pinky pie for me too. That was quite a lark! As you know, humon, vitaly, and stupid fox are here too and we have an anthology we've been selling. After a while of selling them I started to notice humon and vitaly were writing messages back and fourth like "bring me cake" or "the cake is for me! Not you!" and other fun stuff.
Overall I have been incredibly impressed at the intensity of this convention. I really have not experienced anything like it!
However, as awesome as this convention has been t

Got a disturbing note. Read half of it and then deleted. i wont' say from who and I won't say what it was about. I'm just making things clear, especially for the younger watchers of mine:
When I sound upset online, I don't mean to. I hate sounding that way. When my faith gets attacked, That's when I get rude. I don't like being rude, but I can't help it. Try going through all of high school getting bullied. Being the unpopular girl. Being the one without an opinion.
Being the Catholic.
When I post certain things, like that PnF episode thing from a while back, I'm not mad at anyone in particular. I just get nervous and I tend to sound like I'm cracking. I know a lot of people apologize in comments and I don'T reply because i can't, but it doesn't mean that I'm mad at you. If you say "I'm so sorry! I really am!" I'm not actually mad at you. Honestly. And I don't want you
The Future of SYAC?I'm leaning on the side of axing it entirely. I know that I pretty much owe my online "fame" to the popularity of SYAC, and that despite a small core group of naysayers the vast majority of my watchers love the series... but I personally have always had problems with it. It was never meant to be more than a few strips long, and my attempts to turn it into a full blown series have been awkward and clumsy at best. The Future of SYAC?1 year ago in Personal More Like This
Using myself as the main character for SYAC was a huge mistake, one which I realized early on and one which you can see me struggle with throughout the rest of the series. Even after completely retooling it to be a new story with Emily and Jade, I didn't get very far into it before complications forced me to stop. I don't really want to do anything with SYAC right now, but at the same time I understand there are a lot of fans of the series I need to consider. So here are a couple of ideas I had on what I could do with it, but feel free to jump down into the comments secti

Now for the sad news....
We didn't get the Mission: Small Business grant. Sarah and I are pretty bummed, but incredibly grateful to everyone who voted, spread the word, and helped us out. We still plan on growing and expanding, but we'll have to find other avenues to do so. We're not giving up no matter what, but it still stings a bit for the time being. Again, thank you all so much for your support. Even though we didn't win, it was still a massive boost to our confidence to know you guys are behind us on this. One way or another, we will make this work!
The folks who did win can be found here.

This is quite possibly the most interesting Sonic-related news since the release of Generations, even more interesting than the recent announcement of the new Transformed game.
Hunnid-P, the artist behind the classic theme songs for Knuckles the Echidna ("Unknown from M.E.", etc) in the Adventure titles, stated his involvement with SEGA in a future Sonic project. Interestingly, this finding comes not long after the fact that Sonic Adventure 2 was discovered to get a re-release for the XBOX360 (again, a re-release, not to be confused with the term "remake").
Is SEGA discreetly building hype for some bigger news? This tidbit by Hunnid-P unsurprisingly re-surged the ever living fan demands for a Sonic Adventure 3, which I never believed was completely out of the question, especially with SEGA's current state of financial difficulties. They're likely g

As you may have noticed, I've been quite inactive in this site due to the following reasons I have, which I believe most of you have expected beforehand. In short, college and work are two major reasons that keeps me away from doing the things I like to do, like drawing.. = )
Also someone asked "missyuna, why dont u just draw in weekends or something in that time?" well it may seem like a possible option, but then again I have work and not to mention the family activity during that time. Other reasons I have, which probably is what slows my drawing process down is my computer,..its not doing well and it hates me =,(.
But hopefully, I will be able to get it fixed by someone I know, and of course it is possible that I might buy a new computer in short time. Also I have comic that I'm working on for someone, which will be a surprise ; )
Anyways, I'll try keep updating and maaayyybe manage to show off some works I have done once my computer st
