Use your armor for good instead of evil
Dont let what she says bounces off the silver plating
Dont use it as a shield from your own desires
Use your armor to protect both of you from outside forces
Use that helmet with the slits for eyes and the visor that just wont stay up for protection too
Dont shield your thoughts
But rather allow hers to seep through the seams and rock around in your brain
Know what shes thinking
Know what youre thinking is a combination of her and you
Use your helmet with slits for eyes and the visor that just wont stay up to shield both your minds from danger
Use your shield with the blazing heart on it as proof
Show her youd do anything for her
Slay the fire breathing dragons
Fight with the fiercest of foes
But keep you both safe behind it

Rin slowly made her way through a dense patch of brush. She breathed deeply; the cool air of the forest was much different from the warmer, slightly polluted air of the Miratan city. The sunlight shone down through occasional breaks on the canopy above, and everywhere Rin looked brightly colored flowers peeped out at her.
“It’s good to be back home,” the young Naga remarked to herself. “But I wish I could have brought Caidance along. I’m sure she’d have loved these flowers.” Rin picked a bright crimson flower from a dense patch and slipped the long stem above her hair. A moment later she reached for a large yellow blossom when she became aware of a buzzing noise coming from above her. Looking up sharply, Rin saw a giant insect zooming down at her. It was black and yellow, with a stinger half a long as Rin’s upper body. “Then again maybe not!” She said as she rolled to the side. The stinger miss

The dexterity of Marik's long, elegant fingers was, as ever, a matter of fascination to Bakura. He moved with the nimbleness of a jungle cat, the sandy-colored demigod of the desert, and gazed upon his prey with narrowed, luminous eyes, just as he was now staring at Bakura.
"Will you cut off a lock of your hair for me?" he asked, smiling, while he handed Bakura the dagger.
Bakura grabbed the knife. He slipped it through the stained, white strands and snipped off a handful. When Marik approached to take the hair, Bakura suddenly grasped the boy by his waist and brought him close.
"Marik," he said so quietly and sweetly that Marik shivered. "What's the purpose of this? You've still told me nothing. It's almost dawn and I can think of a few other things we could be doing."
Marik slipped out of his hands as easily as if he were made of wet clay. He turned back to the shrine, where he placed the locks of hair.
"Patience. I have plans for that too, but this takes precedence."

Being stuck in medical sucked aft. Being stuck in medical with nothing to do sucked more aft. Being stuck in medical with nothing to do and his brother not being there, now that was pure torture.
Sunstreaker laid on one of the many recharge berths in the Hatchets medbay, his left leg missing just below the knee joint. He was in pain, grouchy, hostile, and if anyone even so much as looked at him wrong he swore to Primus he was going to rip out their fuel pumps and shove it up their exhaust pipe.
Not that it mattered though, no one would even consider to come and visit him. Well maybe that wasnt entirely true. Jazz did try and visit him earlier But Ratchet threw him out, literally, saying that Sunstreaker needed rest and should not be disturbed

Boys we were when we left
Foolishly naive and young
Men we are now
Ours hearts harden as steel
Harden by this new world
Of War and Politics
Sons and Daughters of the Legendary Norsemen
Coming to the main lands
To make our ancestors proud
To make our fathers, our mothers, our brothers, and our sisters proud
To make our King proud
To make the Almighty proud
To bring Glory
To our Great Birthland
The Light of this cold and dark world
Here He come
The Lion of the North
Our King and Leader
Fighting alongside us
Ready to share our inevitable faith
To make our country and its people
The Strongest of the Strong
The Proudest of the Proud
The Greatest of the Great
And the History of Manking
Will forever Remember Us
Thou when our Motherland called
We, Her Proud Sons and Daughters, came and fought for Her

Now don't get attached, and don't write down your dreams
Things can turn around quickly, it's not how it seems
When things go well and you become naïve
You think the things you love, won't up and leave
When you're full of anguish and lost in the night,
hang on till morning and watch for the light!
I once had dreams, a future and friends, I got attached didn't think they could end
I took things easy, I wrote them in pen. I forgot how easily the best things can end.
Now I'm abandoned, no job, all alone, no plans to speak of, in an cold empty home,
I'm twice as hurt, I never thought this could be, Never saw this coming, couldn't happen to me
I wrote things in pen, took their promises seriously, trust me, you don't want to be me.
So when things go well, now, just don't get attached, even the best things they're not gonna last,
Your kids they grow up, your friends move away, your car will break down, your parents will die someday.
Enjoy your peace, your freedom from pain, but don't t

The moments revolve, coil and ignite; flashing images with no particular order.
I scrunch my iceman toes, attempting to conserve heat, but the cold still surpasses the fabric of my Converse. My muscles tense against abrasive arctic gusts. The bitter wind raises bristled hair above goose bumped flesh.
These pink fingers quiver in the grasp of an 'I heart New York" shot glass. I guzzle down Stolichnaya. The vodka is dry-ice against my tongue; molten silver.
Blurred peripherals detect a lone ember drowning in the ashtray, a Marlboro Smooth choking beneath garish glares of moonlight.

A couple weeks ago, my teacher made my class write an assignment, on whatever subject we wanted. I chose to write about my Bestfriend, and how he was the most important part of my life. Im a terrible writter, and I knew I wouldn't get a great mark, but I made sure to write everything down so she knew just how important he meant to me.
The following week she pulled out three texts, the ones which she loved and read them out loud. Sure enough, mine was the third one read and I was suprised. When she handed the papers back I was proud of the result and I wanted to show my text to my bestfriend.
Problem with that is... we haven't been on good talking terms lately. Ironicly enough, I'm ashamed of all the good things I wrote for him, when after all that, I saw how much we were drifting apart. I re read it again and again, over and over. Telling myself Fix this. Fix this before it's too late.
Two weeks ago, we were asked to write a text and read it out loud, about the subject we h

After resting for another day or so, Aria was fit to travel again, and she was more than determined to find and reunite with her companions. Despite her best efforts to dissuade him, Zark decided to accompany her so as to be her guide and protector, leaving Zarkana under the care of his wife, Lia. The two Instinct Clowns also tagged along; having grown fond of them during her recovery, Aria was a little hesitant about letting them come along, but their optimistic personalities softened her fears. Unable to learn their names - or if they even had names - she gave the two nicknames, and they accepted them joyfully; David for the one in yellow, and Rene for the one in red.
As the quartet made their way through another lush forest, Aria walked beside Zark as she watched David and Rene playfully dart ahead, pointing out everything in sight. They emitted so much joy, that Aria almost forgot that there were still Tartaros

I feel I am being held captive,
Like a beautiful bird in a small iron cage.
I feel a red hot anger within me,
Like a crazy bull in a blind rage.
I feel I am in constant, spinning turmoil,
Like a delicate butterfly in a swirling tornado.
I feel as though I am lost in limbo,
Like a condemned angel without a halo.
Then it passes,
And a tinkling sound fills the room,
Kind of like good friends toasting,
Gently banging each others' glasses.

Touko idly stared out of the Ferris wheel carrier's window. Touya and Jessi, her companions were talking in the seat across from her. Everything would've been perfect if not for the empty seat next to her.
Cheren and Bianca were on the carrier below them, and as they ascended to the top, Touya noticed something. Someone was manifesting next to Touko in a green glow. And Touko was in a daze and depression to even notice it. A hand was beginning to appear on Touko's hand. Touya's eyes widened.
"Jessi. Hey Jessi." he hissed. Jessi turned.
"Look." Sure enough, when Jessi turned, she saw the manifestation becoming clearer. Green hair was beginning to grow on the head. A void cube appeared on its pants. The hand began to look more alive and fleshier.
"What the-?!" Jessi whispered anxiously. She spotted the Void Cube, and smiled.

MASS EFFECT 3 ALTERNATE ENDING *SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*
**EDIT** Holy crap this got way more attention than I was expecting. The comments and support have been amazing everyone!
A few points: Credit where credit is due; this ending, as much as everyone seems to love it, was only created because the amazing team at Bioware created a universe that was so rich and full of life and detail. As much as I know a lot of fans are hurt by what they did, we need to remember that Bioware still created an incredible trilogy, one of the best ever. So hats off to them all round.
Also, this was written really fast and so the ending (specifically the last part on how you actually win using TIM's signal) isn't very fleshed out. I know there are holes, and they can actually be fixed quite easily. This isn't perfect. Also, this doesn't deal with a 'happy' ending. If there were to be one, or you were to even CONSIDER taking the fourth option, you'd need to be damn ready. I'm talking ALL war assets e

Listen closely, and you may hear
The sound of sacred fire.
Its ancestry flickers in a thousand
Colors, all within the hearts of unborn heroes.
Somewhere deep inside legend,
A fringed master slumbers.
Its breath sequesters beneath its beak
As it dreams in molten gold.
Six score, it has lain in wait
For its kaleidoscopic guardian.
A spirit akin to its veined own,
In suit and solemn as he.
The skies grow dapper without
The grace of its marbled wings
And the elegance of the feathers
That heal the lame and the ungainly.
Its dogs look toward the heavens,
Listening for its sacred fire.
The hours and the days atrophy
And crumble to the sound of empty bells.
But suddenly!the rainbows in its eyes
Spring to violent verve as this
Legendary bird awakens.
The herohe has come today.
Six score, it has lain in wait to rain
Its sacred fire from the clouds again.
In the midst of the defiant mortal soul
That stands before it, kaleidoscopic once more.
Its calls make the sun turn to ash

Nor for the man in a suit, who sent him across borders...
In his pocket he keeps a single picture, a sole reminder
Like ancient scripture. A home he misses so endlessly,
Tirelessly calling out in his dreams at night. It is the last
That remains on his lips, with his finger pressed upon the trigger.
A single heartbeat, as he sights his enemy; A quiet prayer
To rest in peace. Yet soon it fades, as hope is fleeting;
For the little soldier boy, once marching home.
"Bottoms up buddy, I miss you..."

When was it...
that you plastered yourself to my ribcage?
