Use your armor for good instead of evil
Dont let what she says bounces off the silver plating
Dont use it as a shield from your own desires
Use your armor to protect both of you from outside forces
Use that helmet with the slits for eyes and the visor that just wont stay up for protection too
Dont shield your thoughts
But rather allow hers to seep through the seams and rock around in your brain
Know what shes thinking
Know what youre thinking is a combination of her and you
Use your helmet with slits for eyes and the visor that just wont stay up to shield both your minds from danger
Use your shield with the blazing heart on it as proof
Show her youd do anything for her
Slay the fire breathing dragons
Fight with the fiercest of foes
But keep you both safe behind it

Now don't get attached, and don't write down your dreams
Things can turn around quickly, it's not how it seems
When things go well and you become naïve
You think the things you love, won't up and leave
When you're full of anguish and lost in the night,
hang on till morning and watch for the light!
I once had dreams, a future and friends, I got attached didn't think they could end
I took things easy, I wrote them in pen. I forgot how easily the best things can end.
Now I'm abandoned, no job, all alone, no plans to speak of, in an cold empty home,
I'm twice as hurt, I never thought this could be, Never saw this coming, couldn't happen to me
I wrote things in pen, took their promises seriously, trust me, you don't want to be me.
So when things go well, now, just don't get attached, even the best things they're not gonna last,
Your kids they grow up, your friends move away, your car will break down, your parents will die someday.
Enjoy your peace, your freedom from pain, but don't t

Rin's Adventures Part TenRin’s Adventures Part Ten:Rin's Adventures Part Ten9 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
Rin slowly made her way through a dense patch of brush. She breathed deeply; the cool air of the forest was much different from the warmer, slightly polluted air of the Miratan city. The sunlight shone down through occasional breaks on the canopy above, and everywhere Rin looked brightly colored flowers peeped out at her.
“It’s good to be back home,” the young Naga remarked to herself. “But I wish I could have brought Caidance along. I’m sure she’d have loved these flowers.” Rin picked a bright crimson flower from a dense patch and slipped the long stem above her hair. A moment later she reached for a large yellow blossom when she became aware of a buzzing noise coming from above her. Looking up sharply, Rin saw a giant insect zooming down at her. It was black and yellow, with a stinger half a long as Rin’s upper body. “Then again maybe not!” She said as she rolled to the side. The stinger miss

Sunstreaker laid on one of the many recharge berths in the Hatchets medbay, his left leg missing just below the knee joint. He was in pain, grouchy, hostile, and if anyone even so much as looked at him wrong he swore to Primus he was going to rip out their fuel pumps and shove it up their exhaust pipe.
Not that it mattered though, no one would even consider to come and visit him. Well maybe that wasnt entirely true. Jazz did try and visit him earlier But Ratchet threw him out, literally, saying that Sunstreaker needed rest and should not be disturbed

Ready to share our inevitable faith
To make our country and its people

We, Her Proud Sons and Daughters, came and fought for Her

REIA WORE THE simple white linen kilt of a common villager, but the long papyrus staff he carried denoted what power he had. It wasn't much; his tiny Delta village contained only about a hundred or so people, living atop the earthen hillocks scattered randomly between meandering rivulets and branches of the river. His people plied the water in their little papyrus skiffs, grazing cattle in the drier spots, growing what few crops they could, hunting wildfowl and catching fish in the marshes. The only people they ever saw were Delta villagers like themselves; any sign of outsiders was something to look out for, as outsiders, in times like these, could mean nothing but trouble.
Reia was worried about this. He looked down at his sandals as he walked. One of the herdsmen, a trustworthy fellow from the sound of it, had reported a band of Apsiu far off beyond the marshes. He ha

That was the only way he could describe her. On the battlefield, in the silence of the camp, and here before him...within the castle gardens...sunlight dancing along her smooth hair. A rare smile crossed Loghain’s face as he approached her from behind, reaching out to her as she turned to face him...
“Rowan - ”
Loghain’s left cheek stung furiously, leaving him shocked as the beautiful palace gardens melted away, replaced by a corpse riddled ruin. It was one that he’d only seen once when it was still pristine; but he knew all too well where he was. This was what was left of the Battle at Ostagar. Loghain focused on Rowan again...on the expression of rage that was on the late queen’s face.
“How dare you...!” she hissed quietly, her hands shaking at her sides. “How dare you still look upon me with love after you left my son to die?!”
“Rowan, your son wa

Lovely tall trees surrounded the two as Khyra rode and Hazelin walked along the rocky country side. Blackadel was having trouble on the uneven slope, but the stallion was ever patient and loyal, letting Hazelin guide him with the reins as his master Khyra chattered away about some nonsense.
The black horse snorted lazily. Hazelin patted him absently, only half listening to Khyra talk. His thoughts were somewhere else and it didnt take long before the elf realized his transapian friend wasnt paying attention to him.
Annoyed, Khyra stopped Blackadel sharply. Youre not even listening to me, he said flatly.
Pulled abruptly by the horse, Hazelin nearly fell. Huh, yes I was, you where talking about the. . . um. . . .
There was an unpleasant pause while Khyra glared expectedly at him, but the harder Hazelin tried to think of what to say, the more he drew a blank. Nothi

Chapter 1- Dilemma
It was a beautiful sunny morning in the quiet village of Konoha. The sunlight streamed through every window of every building, waking the sleeping villagers. One of those villagers was a 16 year old young man with golden blond hair, sapphire blue eyes, and whisker marks on his cheeks.
As the sun shined through his bedroom window, he slowly opened his eyes. He lazily sat up to stretch and yawn then got up to get dressed.
After, he ran outside and headed to Ichiraku Ramen, his favorite place to eat. On the way, he saw a girl with soft lavender eyes and long midnight colored hair walking down the street.
"Mornin' Hinata!" Naruto yelled as he approached the dark haired girl.
"Good morning Naruto-kun," she said sweetly.
"What are you doing out so early?" he asked curiously.
"Nothing, I was just taking a morning walk for some fresh air," she said with a smile.
"Well then, wanna get some ramen with me?" he asked.
"S-sure," she replied blushing a bit.

After resting for another day or so, Aria was fit to travel again, and she was more than determined to find and reunite with her companions. Despite her best efforts to dissuade him, Zark decided to accompany her so as to be her guide and protector, leaving Zarkana under the care of his wife, Lia. The two Instinct Clowns also tagged along; having grown fond of them during her recovery, Aria was a little hesitant about letting them come along, but their optimistic personalities softened her fears. Unable to learn their names - or if they even had names - she gave the two nicknames, and they accepted them joyfully; David for the one in yellow, and Rene for the one in red.
As the quartet made their way through another lush forest, Aria walked beside Zark as she watched David and Rene playfully dart ahead, pointing out everything in sight. They emitted so much joy, that Aria almost forgot that there were still Tartaros

The world needs a better God.
A sigh escapes his masked lips. He doesn't want to pretend that he's okay, because he's not. Ever since that day, he has been in an almost depressed state.
It's not like he was going to show it anyway.
But right now, he doesn't care. Back then, Shinigami-sama thought that it really was hard to keep calm while his son was away, who knew where, being captive by the crazy wizard who possessed the Book of Eibon. He knew how many things that Book could do, the dark magic inside of it. He was scared, anxious. But he kept believing in Kid and searching for a way to bring him back, so it would be all over and he didn't feel so afraid anymore.
That was back then. Now, it is completely different. Kid has already completed two of his Sanzu Lines, and he is also more mature and collected. He isn't a little boy anymore, and Shinigami-sama and he barely talk with each other anymore, much to Shinigami-sama's chagrin.
That, and the fact that they had just found the Kis

Why Zutara over Kataang?
First off, I'm going to start with Katara and Aang. Before I do, let me repeat that this is all based off of my beliefs and opinions. Katara is a maternal figure that takes care of all the members of the group, the only characters excluded were Zuko and Suki (I'll get into that later). She was most maternal towards Aang. She treated him like a son, a brother, and a god-like hero. Very rarely, I want to say twice (the headband being the only time that came to mind), has she treated him like someone she was genuinely attracted to. Sure Mae Whitman SAID that there was a crush, but the staff behind A:tLA failed to SHOW that connection. In the hierarchy of their team, Katara was mother/sister, Aang was child (and a self admitted one at that).
There was no equality in the relationship, at all. Katara either treated him as her son/baby brother, a status lower than hers, or she treated him like her hero, a status higher then hers.

I feel I am being held captive,
Like a beautiful bird in a small iron cage.
I feel a red hot anger within me,
Like a crazy bull in a blind rage.
I feel I am in constant, spinning turmoil,
Like a delicate butterfly in a swirling tornado.
I feel as though I am lost in limbo,
Like a condemned angel without a halo.
Then it passes,
And a tinkling sound fills the room,
Kind of like good friends toasting,
Gently banging each others' glasses.

When was it...
that you plastered yourself to my ribcage?

For all you aspiring young authors, and even old pros, who are looking for a way to improve your skills, this is for you. In this manual I'm relying on my own experience as an author and as an avid reader. First I'll start with the five major problems faced by most authors.
1. Writing a Beginning. The most remembered part of a story is the beginning and the end. The beginning sets the mood for the rest of the story. If you start off on the wrong foot, readers might just put your story down and look for a different one.
2. Writing an Ending. For a reader, the ending of a good book is an action-packed tragedy. When was the last time you read a good novel and wanted it to end? A good long story can be an enjoyable thing, but as a writer, you want to be able to end it.
3. Descriptions. Long boring paragraphs filled with the descriptions of characters and places don't make for good reading. In small doses, a wel

Touko idly stared out of the Ferris wheel carrier's window. Touya and Jessi, her companions were talking in the seat across from her. Everything would've been perfect if not for the empty seat next to her.
Cheren and Bianca were on the carrier below them, and as they ascended to the top, Touya noticed something. Someone was manifesting next to Touko in a green glow. And Touko was in a daze and depression to even notice it. A hand was beginning to appear on Touko's hand. Touya's eyes widened.
"Jessi. Hey Jessi." he hissed. Jessi turned.
"Look." Sure enough, when Jessi turned, she saw the manifestation becoming clearer. Green hair was beginning to grow on the head. A void cube appeared on its pants. The hand began to look more alive and fleshier.
"What the-?!" Jessi whispered anxiously. She spotted the Void Cube, and smiled.
