Kairi runs down the beach of Destiny Island looking for her good friends Riku and Sora. She had found a video camera, something shes never encounted before, it was exciting. Her legs rush towards the sea, spying the two boys spashing each other childishly in the water. Sora pushes his hands and water forward towards Riku getting him even more wet. Riku blocks with his arm with a smile on his lips.
"Hey, what was that for?" Riku chuckles placing his hands on Sora's head and dunking his head all the way down into the water. He lets go after a few seconds swimming back towards shore.
"Sora!! Riku!!" Kairi calls running towards them, her feet reaching the water stopping right before it hits her. "Come look what I found" her smile large and innocent, she pulls out her video camera. Her fingers wrapped around the camera aiming the lens at the emerging boys comng from the water. Sora swims towards Riku and once their feet could touch the ground he jumps onto the boys back wrapping his arms ar
Why KakaIruWhy KakaIru9 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
It has come to my attention that not everyone seems to see the logic behind why two men in Kakashi and Iruka's positions might find themselves drawn to each other in ways that might surpass the otherwise bland work-oriented relation which they currently hold within the animated show of Naruto. This matter is perplexing, and I have come to the conclusion that in an attempt to do justice to the reasoning I hold, I would formulate these reasonings in one coherent place. One would hope that this is the same reasoning as all the others in this fandom, and that the creation goes beyond the common fall-back of 'who can we shove with whom?' I understand that there will always be a few in any fandom who base their fandom on how good two characters may look together, though I tend (and I hope others do as well) to lean more towards characters that share more than appealing features.
Both Kakashi and Iruka lived through the attack of the Nine-tails and the secret third war, and each suffered grea

Snape sat down in front of his faithful tangerine iMac with a mug of cocoa. He had just spent sixteen consecutive hours wiring the castle up for an internal network and was now testing out the interoffice chat option. No one knows why he wanted this installed or what good it would do for the school. Somewhere along the line, Dumbledore had turned to Lupin and said, "Dude...you're gettin' a Dell." And it all went downhill from there.
Snape logged into his account and called up the program.

"6 years, such a long time; approximately one third of our lives, and we still have yet to let him go," she sighed.
"Did you ever think we would?" her companion beside her asked stonily, as he gazed at the rushing waters below the bridge where they were standing; the same bridge that used to be the rendezvous point for the long dead team 7.
It was a long time since they had stood together on that bridge; it seemed like only yesterday they were there together complaining of Kakashi's chronic lateness with their other teammate silently propped against a tree, wordlessly mocking their antics.
Tonight, they were there, not by pre-arranged meeting, but by chance of coincidental thoughts. Not so coincidental, considering that night was the anniversary of that fateful day; the breaking of team 7.
They had been reminiscing of their past genin life together, recalling happier moments such as trying to unmask Kakashi-sensei together, passing their genin survival exams, completing mi

She couldn’t believe that she and Szayel…they had…
Even now the whole situation felt surreal. The feeling of Szayel’s lips on hers. His tongue making slow, soft circles into her neck. His fingers pressing into her hips. A shudder ran down Orihime’s spine. Thinking about was not helping.
She sat up, sighing.
What had she gotten herself into? Their kiss wasn’t merely a kiss. It was a kiss. But what did that mean? Was it possible that she was starting to have feelings for—
Orihime stopped herself before she could finish that thought. No. Szayel was their enemy. And yet, the more she tried to deny it, the clearer it was that…perhaps…just maybe...

The Light of Vengeance
The sun comes out,
But it's still dark.
But I'm still cold.
Alone in the darkness,
In the cold emptiness of my soul
There shines but one light;
The light of vengeance.
With each step,
This light grows stronger.
I bruise and bleed
But feel naught.
I pull my blade from its sheath.
A protection I never had.
It slices through the air
And through his skin.
I am surrounded by light
It envelopes me in warmth,
As does the blood that cloaks me.
The sun has come out, and I welcome its radiance.

"Akilik! Kil, wake up!"
Akilik rolled on his stomach and pulled the pillow over his head with a groan. He would've kicked his brat of a little brother out of his room if it hadn't required getting up.
"Go away, Az. Too early."
"Nuh-uh. Mom says up."
The bed shifted slightly, and then a weight landed on the small of his back, nearly knocking the air out of his lungs. Two small hands reached up and snatched the pillow he was shielding his head with.
"No. Get off."
The newly commandeered pillow hit the back of his head with a muffled 'thump'.
"Have you forgotten what happens today?"
Akilik actually had to think about that. What was it that was supposed to happen today? Mom's birthday? No, that was last month. Eja Khea celebration? No, that wasn't till the next new moon, and it was almost full last night. Midsummer? That was in two days. But wasn't there something before… Akilik shot up so fast that Azeem fell off the bed with a yelp.

I am gathering flowers for my girl.
She waits beneath the cherry tree,
couched among the leaves upon the grass.
Her beauty is no small thing,
and through the shady boughs
Summer's breath turns the twist of her braid.
The sun is sweeping clear the morning,
turning over slowly into midday
before expiring into unseeing darkness.
These garnered blooms still hardy though,
despite the shortened moments of their existence,
they will colour the chestnut hair I love.
In truth, I cannot stem this smile,
this attitude of quiet pleasure;
she has distilled it like music.
I am gathering flowers for my girl.

Once the night is spent,
Going back to where you were put to rest
The unknown souls slowly disappear,

A chill wind was blowing outside as Tenten stared out the window of a dimly lit restaurant. She eyed the soft blanket of snow that had fallen the night before, wishing that she could indulge in her child-like urge to go outside and play in it. But Tenten soon pushed away such thoughts when she was reminded why she was there.
She was carefully nursing a glass of wine, making sure not to overdue the drinking before her date arrived. A few tables away sat Hinata and Lee, carefully keeping an eye on her to make sure the guy was a perfect gentleman. With a wave of his hand, Lee made sure his teammate knew that he was still there. Hinata simply blushed at all the attention the taijutsu master in training was creating for them.
"And nothing he or Hinata says can stop me," she added as she waved back to him,

I waited patiently in the car for my partner Phil to open the passenger side door for me. Even though it was already night time, the air was still thick with humidity. The car ride to SuperPet wouldnt have been so miserable if it hadnt been for the fact that Phil, conscious of rising gas prices, refused to use the air conditioner. We had the windows open, but the hot air did little to comfort a hot dog like myself.
My name is Marlowe. My friend Phil works part-time as a private investigator, and I help him out by tagging along on his cases. If nothing else, having his loyal Welsh Corgi by his side helped lift the poor guys spirits; usually I was the only one trying to help him figure out the truth. Phil is a little overenthusiastic about his job, which usually ended up making everyone from the culprit to the victim try to convince him to give up the case.&

There was a time when I was eight years old. It wasn't a terribly eventful time. Basically, my mother took me to the mall and we window-shopped. Then we left. That was it. That was the time.
It was the results of that time that were rather stupendous.
Apparently, as I would learn later in life, we'd walked past a security camera or two on our way out. The tape would show a little girl holding tightly onto thin air as she walked energetically through the mall while talking her own ear off. Someone noticed thi

There was a grin on his face as he hurried over to his favorite candy store, well; it was the only candy store that let him inside the store's premises. But, they let him in, so the four-year-old had nothing to complain about.
As he made his way there, he noticed several glares; he was used to it; that was just a daily occurrence in Uzumaki Naruto's life. The glares couldn't bring him down though, for the impending sugar-high was enough to raise his spirits,
Chapter I: PenanceChapter I: Penance11 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
I was dead. However, my head throbbed maliciously. This must be what penance is, I thought bitterly. Living the last few moments of my life over again, and giving me time to think of my past sins before I departed for judgement. I could almost still feel the tears of the mourning skies pattering softly on my face, my hair matted to my forehead; I could almost still hear the clear whistle of the wind through the trees high above me, as gentle as the cool evening breeze. The rest of my body lay numb and confused. Where I could feel, I only felt the trickling warmth of my life's blood, escaping back to the merciless earth from whence it came.
Suspended in between anguish and rapture, in limbo, the halfway house of the gods; I thought of my short life and how I came to such a miserable passing.
My first real memories began the day I was to start my schooling. Any recollections before that day are smells and sounds mostly, with a few hushed voices that still haunt me

You can see me broken on the floor,
I am broken to this mortal world.
I am broken to you,
So toss me out.
Toss me out like a ragged doll,
Worn and frayed at the edges.
So toss me out,
Leave me there in the ice-y rain.
But please understand,
I don't want to go,
Don't want to leave you behind.
Even though I'm broken to you,
I still wish to be with you.
Don't toss me out,
Just take me, sweetly
Into your arms again
Unbreak me, make me whole again.
I'm still just shards on the floor.
Just shards of my self,
Shattered upon the earth.
So please, just take me in your arms
Smother me in your warm embrace.
Take me, make me, unbreak me
And in your eyes,
So, softly you can tell me,
So, lovingly you can show me.
Through your eyes, what have I become?
