Hey everyone...I decided to create a blog on wordpress just for drawing tips, since Google docs keeps upgrading, which changes the whole appearance. You can find me at DrPencil.wordpress.com or click here [link]
This is a TIP GUIDE that I have been adding to since 2010 and is basically everything I think I have learned about drawing. It includes materials and tools I use, with illustrations. It is a Google Doc so it will change and grow over time, so be sure to bookmark the link [link]
its simple. its basic. it doesn't have the best appearance. but i think this may help you if your looking to improve your wildlife drawing by looking at my style/method for creating hair. i always find it helpful to see how others draw and incorporate some of those techniques into my drawing. its how i've evolved into the artist i am today. So i figure this may help you in a similar manor. if not, i think its always interesting to see other peoples methods, so here is mine!!! enjoy.
The tutorial will enable you to save time copying and pasting vectors. This technique also reduces file size and is, so far, the most appropriate way to create backgrounds and wallpaper that make use of repetitive designs.
Yesterday I got my new Derwent coloursoft pencils (You can see them on the left side) and added them to my growing pencil armada .
A big credit goes to `Cataclysm-X and her deviation Pencils are overrated [link] which made me wanted to do a similar collection of art tools.
I made a fast counting from all pencils and including my Copic markers I counted a total number of 602 pencils
Now some informations about what kind of pencils you see here.
On the left side my new Derwent coloursoft pencils, above them Watercolour pencils from faber castell, in the middle my huge set of my awesome Faber Castell Polychromos, above them some cheap and crappy coloured pencils from Staedtler (The leads always braking there .) , on the right side my huge set of pastels also from Faber Castell. Above them my 2 sets of Copic Markers (The A and B set). On the top of the markers are 10 very huge coloured pencils from Staedtler for the big parts .
Oh yes and on the right side and almost everywhere my regular and mechanical pencils.
Some of the pencils are very old and I donīt use them anymore. I use mainly my three huge sets now and my graphite pencils of course. The Copics occasionaly.
Iíve recently been experimenting wigs myself. Iím no expert so this is all based on experience. I actually just saw a reference picture of how the wig looks like when it was done (not during the process of styling) and I just tried it for myself. So here goes..
The most popular character I know who has two significant high ponytails would probably be Hatsune Miku. But for this tutorial, letís work on Runo of Bakugan series. Why? Because her hair is shorter haha! Again, those experienced with wigs will tell you to wear a short wig first and clip-on two ponytail extensions.
But that's easier said than done. Yes very similar to Miku Hatsune of Vocaloid right? Actually, I would encourage this tutorial for this style as well. You may apply this to both straight or curly wigs.
But just like my previous tutorial about The Single High Ponytail, this will take bigger patience because we are working with TWO ponytails here. The more, the longer time. You may as well buy the extensions, but if you want to learn it my way, Iíll be glad to share. Ok letís start!
