Proud to be a Woman - Happy 8th of MarchTo be honest I rewrote this about dozen times now. It started with everything what is wrong with world today, however instead I decided to celebrate being woman and woman artists. I had a lot of chats with my oldest daughter about being woman, and she does not believe me that women are being discriminated still in todays world, so I decided to focus on positive and share amazing women artists I know about in hope to encourage others in celebrating being woman. Happy International Women's Day. I am so proud to be a woman and a mother of 3 amazing girls.Proud to be a Woman - Happy 8th of March4 months ago in Personal More Like This

Sipping tea with your Muse Only by fostering a facility with the vocabulary of your artistic medium of choice, can you begin to really free yourself to be open to being creative with it.Sipping tea with your Muse1 year ago in Personal More Like This
The size of that vocabulary is another matter, and that’s about growth, improvement and development. These are important as well, and intricately linked to creativity, in parallel (more on that in a future article). But first let’s talk simply about the genesis aspect of art.
Remember when you were in high school, doodling in the margins of your notebooks? Ballpoint pen and edges of blue-lined notebooks, with half an ear listening to the lesson of the day? There was a familiarity in that setting, and ease that you moved through when you sketched these throwaway doodles. Every once in a while you’d accidentally make one that you’d really like, and you’d save that scrap of paper with notes on American History melding into the lines of a drawing of your D&D charac

You May Say I'm An Artist...You May Say I'm An Artist...6 months ago in Art Features More Like This
I am haunted in this holiday season by the opening lines of Charles Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities, his novel about a society 250 years ago coming apart in its seemingly irreconcilable divisions. Could it be these lines define where we have come to find ourselves today?
“It was the best of times,
it was the worst of times,
in the age of wisdom,
it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief,
it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light,
it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope,

-Why don't you just take a photo and a bunch of other stupid yet justified questions-
After years of being bothered by the same question , I have finally decided to write down my feelings and thoughts about this issue. And I think the timing is perfect considering I've somehow reached a stage of finding satisfaction in my own work; which will hopefully result in this journal being informative, interesting, maybe even educational, but above all stop people from being prejudice. If I had written it earlier it probably would have resulted in ranting and raging, at least to some degree.
I hope you will enjoy this read, but unless you think you can relate or learn more about some things, stop reading because this is going to be LONG
Let me start by asking you - what about your own work makes you feel like an artist? What makes any of us 'artists'? Many people imagine artists to be somewhat like mad scientists, but the

Ok that sentence made no sense. But below are a few girls that I guess I can consider as my waifus... if I have to pick any. HMM this topic started when I was talking to the Rainbros (Members of my Pokemon Rainbow group) about whether I name my Pokemon after anything, and I told them I like to have a consistent theme for each game when it comes to names. For Pokemon Black and White 2 I named my Pokemon after K-pop idols, for another Pokemon game I named my Pokemon after movie stars that I liked, and one time I gave all my Pokemon food related names. I remember for my first ever Pokemon game 1000 years ago I used to give my Pokemon dirty names (As you do), popular ones include Psyf*ck, Pikapoo, SlowpokeHer, Dicklett, Butterpee... yes I was a messed up child. Sorry I got off topic, so the peMy Waifusss2 years ago in Personal More Like This

1.GOTA BE A FAN BEFORE DOING FAN ART FOR SOMETHING
Yup, I have not seen One Piece or Bleach so I will not do fan art for them, Im sure they are great anime as people has told me, but I just haven't gotten around to watch it thats all. So yes for me, I gota be a fan before doing fan art for something. Otherwise it kinda takes away wat the true meaning of what fan art is right? But yes I do know some people who draws fan art of whats popular rather than what they like, I remember one time I was walking in the artist alley and saw an artist who did an artwork of a fandom that I like, so I spoke to them about the series and realised the person has not played the game or know anything about it, but just drew it because
Choose your RivalHi there Ryceballs it is I Ry-Spirit of the East. Here to talk about something that I have never mentioned much before.. And that is the topic of 'Rivals'.Choose your Rival2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Ash had Gary Oak, Goku had Vegeta, Naruto had Sasuke. Do you believe that having a rival can help you improve in whatever you do? I do. I remember back in High School I got lots of praises from my classmates for being the greatest at drawing, I liked to draw in my diaries and homeworks alot Which explains why my marks were soooo FREAKIN TERRIBLE!. And there was a friend (I used the term very loosely) who would always try to find ways to make people feel like crap, this time it was no exception, he figured out what I liked and stabbed that piece of pure innocent heart with a sharp poisonous knife, he told me my drawings is poo compared to this other guy our year, I have never seen that guy's artworks before so my friend went as far as to sneak into the library storage room where everyone left their bags at, opened up the guy's bag an

when people want to trace my stuff or use it as a reference, i say, go for it. if it helps you learn something, awesome!
when people want to edit something of mine and take the moment to ask me to do it, i usually say yes
we are all different, we all have our own little fetishes, and mine being bdsm, who the fuck am i to judge.
but recently i have been sent a link of one of my pictures, ally and lisa as a ponygirl one edited to be a guy....and it pissed me off.
not because the picture was edited, hell not even because whoever did it ended up putting their own website watermark to it... fuck it
what pissed me off is that the person who did it couldn't take a second to ask could he or she do it. just basic respect
cause the funny thing is, i wou

What's the Meaning Behind Skull Face-PaintingAs a writer for a Day of the Dead blog http://deaddeco.com, I see a large amount of Calavera-themed art. Some good, some bad, but most of it is just banal. Let's take a moment to discuss why Day of the Dead art is thoroughly saturated with pictures of people in face paint. What's the Meaning Behind Skull Face-Painting3 years ago in Personal More Like This
It is no secret to anyone with eyes that the popularity of the human skull in Western art and media has risen dramatically in the last few decades. Black Calavera http://skullsproject.wordpress.com/about/ is currently investigating this trend on the Skull Project Blog http://skullsproject.wordpress.com/about/, which you can consult for more information on this subject. The skull is most commonly associated with death and a reminder of mortality, and it has been that for a very long time. However, there was a time when the visual-vocabulary of Western cultures viewed depictions of the human skull as a symbol of savagery, danger and evil. What changed?
I Don't Tolerate Art ThievesI tolerate my fans, watchers or people who favs, collects artworks for inspirations, make an adaptation, draw something similar or close resemble to my style or work; but taking my work or even other good artists' work directly and slapping it into your DevART gallery OR even from Tumblr, Reddit, CGHub or whatever art gallery site, blog and shit, without permission, violating my copyright and signature stamp, and not even acknowledging the origin, source or rightful owner of the work is down right disgusting.I Don't Tolerate Art Thieves3 years ago in Personal More Like This
You make me lose my respect to you as either a fan, an aspiring artist or an online friend. I trust all my watchers and fans and new visitors, and I don't expect any of you to be perfect, but there are boundaries and stealing other people's hard work and effort is one of them.
Thank you to a noted few who report to me about the art theft. You are awesome, and I love you.
Now just to make things clear, I'm not over the top angry, just upset. I'm just giving a fair warning here and
