I’ve been in art tournaments of the DeviantART sort for a while, observing, competing and administrating ever since July ’07. Doesn’t sound like much, but I am assured by my friends that this makes me at the very least a Veteran in the Tournament scene. So! With that in mind, I’d like to take this opportunity to bitch and whine about problems with tournaments I’ve seen, and to praise to the high heavens innovation and whatnot in the various tournies that pop up from time to time. So last night I was coming home from hanging out at my oldest brother's apartment. Before I left he told me to take out the trash, so as I went for the dumpster, 3 black dudes passed by asked me the location of Food Star and if it'd be open. I pointed them in the general direction and doubted it was open. They went off in that direction.
After I dumped the trash, I continued on my way home, which happens to be the same direction as those guys were walkin. So I ran into em again, and they were just chillin on the sidewalk. I give em nods as I passed. Then the guy at the end asked me if I got a smoke. I'm not a smoker, so that's a no. Then he asked if I got any dollar bills. I didn't have ones but I did have money so I figured I just pull out my wallet. (Yes, I realize that was a stupid idea as many people here have been telling me. You'll see why in the next paragraph.)

The biggest story I am working on. There are two worlds, one with humans (basically our world) the other with inhuman creatures aka creatures we consider that only exist in fantasy/fiction. A very long time ago, these two worlds were actually one, and humans back then had these magic/powers sort of thing called "Elements". But shit happens and there's a war with humans and creatures, resulting in having to split the world in two and place a seal between them, divide the two sides and lock away human's powers as well as their memories of anything powers/magic/creatures related.

About the Username Change and the Imeji CheinjiI never believed that name change would exist due to many valid reasons, but yet, they made it. Honestly, I've been wanting to change my name since long time. I'm in no ties or any desire with "Pearl" in any way which I named it when I was quite young. So, yes I do plan to change name yet my icon will remain not changed to keep people to recognize me. And here I want to write a journal about being really careful, be smart and think twice if we decide to change name: to not cause that kind of trend where "Oh I got bored with that name, lemme change onto another" and making a'la Japan's trend of changes known as imeji cheinji.
