A couple more shots of my Alice in Wonderland cosplay. I think, other than a couple of personal photoshoots I have ideas for, I won't be wearing this version of Alice again. I do, however, have a new love of cosplaying Disney characters now, thanks to her. They are oh so fun and happy.
I think this photo takes the cake for my favorite Alice photo! Ashley got in touch with me before Akon and sent me a link of a lot of photos like this, where people are laying down, but look like they're falling, or standing straight up, etc, just by the camera angle. I was definitely up to try it, and she and her boyfriend told me how to lay and all that good stuff. I absolutely love it, especially balancing the little tea cup on my toe.
Such a cute photo! Taken by Ashley J this past weekend at Animefest 2011. It was such a fun con, I always enjoy Afest. This may have been the last time I'll wear this version of Alice, but there will be more versions coming soon! <3
First of all: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope you are all having a quiet, relaxing and nice time with your loved ones! I spent the past two days with my family and we did absolutely nothing besides eating, drinking whine and playing board games. I also got some really lovely presents such as my own copy of Batman: Hush and a DVD of one of my favourite movies Midnight in Paris. I’m happy and I feel much more at ease with myself compared to some days ago. I needed this break badly.
But now on to the picture and the costume itself… I honestly cannot believe we took this picture in the middle of December. I mean, look at the background. Look at the colours of the plants and the lightning situation! It looks like we took it back in October. As I already wrote in the comment of the first picture of Wendy I uploaded the other day I am really happy about the way all photos of this shooting turned out. Even the wig which is the part of the costume I like the least looks alright in here. I hope you’re not tired of seeing pictures of this costume already. There’re a lot more to come! Stay tuned!
I'm bad with titles for Alice... which is odd, you wouldn't think it'd be hard to figure them out. Oh well!
Here are two older photos that I realized I loved and never posted! Both by MiKE BOiKE at Comicpalooza earlier this year (2011). I think, other than a photoshoot I've had in my head for a while, that Alice is gonna be retired soon, so looking at these old photos of her makes me happy yet sad at the same time.
I'm back from TiCon 2012 in Würzburg! I had a great time there although it was a rather small convention without too many visitors. The area around the building in which the convention takes places is incredibly beautiful. It's right next to Würzburg's castle where we took a lot of pictures of Belle. I'm so excited to see what they turned out like. I mean, I already saw some of the previews - but the edit pictures are completely different story.
Anyways, the picture you can see above is my favourite pictures of the shooting. I think it just captures the whole spirit of Belle pretty well. I also like the warm autumn colours in the baackground.
I hope you like it as well! Stay tuned! There's more to come!
Hooray, new costume!! I made Alice for my friend , who was our Queen of Hearts here. She asked my twin and I to cosplay with her, and we just couldn't resist.
I haven't had this much fun in a costume in a long time. It was 100% comfortable, I didn't have to worry about anything breaking or what-not, and got to act cute... which c'mon, that's fun in itself. ^_^
A huge thanks to Mike Boike for taking this photo, as well as the rest of the Wonderland photos I'll be uploading in the coming days. I love them!
