Ohhhhh I have heard this line sooooo damn much from new fans and people who don't ship OPxJazz. "But they never talk to each other!" "Optimus and Jazz are never in scenes together?" "He's with Prowl mooooreeeee~!"
Well I decided to stop just arguing my case and did some work. These are screen shots from just ONE episode of g1. I counted all the GOOD shots of them interacting in someway. I also counted his interactions with Prowl....there was 1. With Cliffjumper? 5. And with Optimus? Over 15...so enjoy! If you like these I might find more. *Transformers Intimacy and Gender InfoGoing through and updating some of my files, I decided to post this to give people a bit of a general idea of where I'm coming from with some of what I have posted. Below is a response I posted to another person's question some months ago in September 2011 regarding intimacy and gender among Transformers as robotic beings, fictional though they are. While I do realize that Transformers is very much fictional as we know them, I wanted to approach the subject from a theoretical plausibility point of view. Thus I drew on the various subjects I have studied based on the laws of physics and such we as humans have learned over time, which are universal. Approaching something like this from a human egocentric viewpoint is not only erroneously impractical, it is also arrogant and honestly wholly wrong.
