Finally I have finished to build this amazing papercraft!

Silvine was a model, what i want to build since a long time
but i was a bit scared about the sheets but after a few gundam models it is just easy
and looks just great

i don't know if this little mecha cat is inspired by Gundam ore "Samurai Pizza Cats"
and honestly, i don't care

this model is full moveable, even with normal paper (you will see it at the next photos )

and i'm defenitly gonna build a secon one with other colors

that's the reason why i just love this shit so much
and i just knew it would be cool

as i saw this model for, well, meanwhile also over a year ago
i just had to ask sanat49 for it
and i'm very thankfull and proud that he spend his original mesh for a papercraft project

the cool thing about this model is, that it's an entry for the pre-DominanceWar V competition, where i'm also a huge fan of
what made this model, not the first Dominance War Papercraft, but the first downloadable (ironic hint to an other crafter ) and hopefully definetly not my last
...
but that's up to the 3d designer


ok now, back to the model
the last steps, where you have to combine all parts will be exhausting
specially for the big shoulder armor pieces
there is not many space for glue or failures so be patience
test it out first where you can attach the pieces

also you have to put some weight into the rear leg or maybe both
maybe you noticed also that i attach the model a bit displaced at the pedestal
i had to do this because of the weight ratio
it's a lot testing and trying
so don't hurry

file description:
the file contains as always three pdo files
one with texture and folding lines
one with texture and without folding lines
and one white version with folding lines

so you need the Pepakura Viewer what you can get "here"

all three pdo's are not protected
so if you have the Designer, you can edit the sheets in the way you want

the original texture is NOT included

model description:
the model come on 27 pages with 290 pieces and is 30cm tall

the model is actually not hard but the mouth take a bit more work as i thought
also the first three rings of the arms
the skulls and bones of the pedestal are very small but it's up to you if you wanna build them
i removed the lower site of the pedestal, it is too big for one page
but just glue the whole thing at a blank sheet and you have the same effect

difficult level is about 7/10

damn! damn! damn!
as i started this project, i never thought that it will take quite three months to finish

but this whole work with re-coloring from blank sheets to a colored version was totally worth
This Gundam is just badass and to call this a SD (super deformed) version is definitely an understatement

with over 400 sometimes really tiny and complicated pieces, i really can say it's nothing for beginners
you can see it in the building process gallery
and i have to say that too, i printed that thing on A3

the model itself was really cool to build
all pieces fit quite perfect together
sadly, and that's the reason why the model hold the weapon only one time and in that way, the weapon it's not really designed for the model
or rather the hands not for the weapon
the hands are based on one piece which is fold to itself just to get the shape of a hand
so it's really unstable, think about that when you wanna build that model

now then
to the point what you probably all waiting for
and to the sad part
because this time, it's a bit different
the original model as black&white version and a pdo as help file (where i made the screenshot from) is available here
but you need a password
i can't tell you the password here but think about "from where" you download the model, that's all i can say
then my recolored version
normally i ask the owner or designer if i can get the permission to share them ->public<-
but because there is no way for me to contact "panda" i'm not gonna do that
...

HE IS DONE I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
i have to do three crosses now
man, that was really a challenge to build this
not because of the big piece count and the size
but to realize it from the 3d mesh to a papermodel

i never had a more messed up mesh like this
and to edit this was just horrible
but it was totally worth, this model looks just sweet
sry if that may sound arrogant, but i just love this model
although i hate all the mario related things
yeah really in every freaking nintendo game is this plumber
i really wonder that he doesn't appear in zelda
maybe i'm too old and oversaturated about mario
i'm althrough more in the bad area and i think Bowser is a missunderstood individual
did you ever thought about, that he just wanna talk to Peach about his problems and stuff
and maybe she is also annoyed of mario

anyway
even i'm not really a fan of all those mario stuff
there is one character, who i just love
yeah Yoshi
i just love (yeah twice) this little Dino
otherwise i would have never built that model

some may love
and some just hate it

one of the greatest score shooter but also one tough
if you don't choose the right weapon for the right situation you're just fucked

about the model:
i just have to say this
sometimes i have the feeling that the creator don't build there own models
some are just badly designed
but not in this case
quite the opposite
when i have to describe it, then only with one word
!genius!

this model is just genius and you just know that "Irem" build this one not only one time
everything fit just perfect

if i have to prefere a model as a starter
then this one
try it, build it
and enjoy it, this one is just great

since Nemesis i'm just a huge fan of this series
and to build this model was just pure fun
the really cool thing
meanwhile there psn released a collection for the PSP

oh man, you can't imagine how i'm exited to get this

about the model:
the model is based on three parts
the center and the two wings
the wings are also based on three parts which have to combined
it was not easy and some pieces are very small
but meanwhile i have a feeling for this tiny pieces

sadly, i have to say
this model has been released only for a short time
and is not avaiable anymore
so i can't give you the link, even if i knew some other one sry
