What I think about doing a NuzlockeWhat I like about the Nuzlocke Challenge is that it makes playing pokemon more adventurous for me because I can make characters out of the pokemon in my game. The risk and the stakes make me more emotionally invested and its really inspiring for character creation and development, but most importantly I just love playing pokemon. Its ironic how the creator of the Nuzlocke Challenge didn't care much for pokemon, I mean he put it on 4chan for fucks sake. Take a drink every time I say Nuzlocke Challenge. What I think about doing a Nuzlocke1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I love drawing comics, making pokemon characters and I take what I do seriously, but there is a question I ask myself sometimes: is there such a thing as taking a Nuzlocke Challenge TOO seriously? This question could apply for a lot of fan work in general and I always hear the same arguments. Like "oh, they're not really your characters so that makes them less meaningful" or "oh, its just pokemon you're going to far with a pokemon fanfiction your time could be better spent." Once yo
Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny NunsI recently learned that the stereotypical "Japanese Fan Girl" is not some sort of mythical sasquatch of popular culture. I know they exist because my work somehow attracted the attention of one.Unstable Cannibal Zombie Bunny Nuns2 years ago in Personal More Like This
She showed up online one day and started posting weird fan-art and (thanks to google translate) weirder messages.
It was amusing, if a little creepy. Especially when someone found a few pictures she had drawn of a decidedly underage version of myself being violated by tentacles.
I let that slide because, hey; she was a Japanese Fan-girl. They're innately odd.
But then it turned out she was actively following me around the internet, frequenting the same sites and forums as me. Specifically B3TA; a place where you really shouldn't go unless you speak English, have a tough skin and an understanding of serrated British humour.
Fan-girl did not, and was subsequently torn to shreds.
Despite everyone's advice, however (including mine and most of the B3TAns) she kept going back. As such, I don't have m

Also, PCBC is over, sadly. I, and many others, loved it so.
I have to agree with the crit I've recieved from the judges, there are so many things that I need to improve on and their constant feedback is always appreciated!
I can safetly say that there has been major improvements in my grammar and some anatomy, thought they can still be pushed further.
Though, I was kind of sad that MikeMoroney couldn't fully finish his entry. This was the last round so I was kind of hoping they'd extend it again for him, but alas.
But yes, it was fun.
See you in IPL!
But for now, back to contracts and comissions!

Phew. That lighting is hard. I think I will reserve it for more important shots.
Anyway, the first scene I've done of Fire Tiger vs Acid Panther. If anyone's curious.
I won't upload any more scenes, as I'd like the film to be at least a bit of a surprise.
Oh wait, I just realized there are a couple of frames cut off the end. Oh well, not missing much.

So I visited PIXAR today! It was awesome! 8DSo I visited PIXAR today!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
We spent about two hours there with one of their story artists, Adrian Molina. *u* Although the first 30 minutes we just all sat and talked and ate delicious burritos underneath a gorgeous painting from Toy Story 3.
Then he looked at my portfolio, which he liked quite a bit. He said I was twice as good as he was at my age, but I ought to loosen up my figures. Then he looked at my sketchbook, which he was super impressed with. He said I should just make my portfolio look more like my sketchbook, and I'd be a shoe-in at CalARTs. xD So that was super cool! He's super nice and says to email him with his portfolios or any art or questions and he'll give me suggestions. c:
After lunch he showed us a little bit of the studio (although we weren't allowed anywhere with actual work going on, which was too bad). But I got to see TONS of concept work for Brave, which looks pretty cool! I can't really disclose any info about it obviously, but it definitely looks a little better a
ATalkHappy Easter everyone! I feel like... I just want to talk today. Because I think there's things I've learned and feel and think that sometimes I just want to say.ATalk2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Let's start with stories.
What I find great about any form of storytelling is how honest it is. There is no other form of shared knowledge that can teach us how to live our lives better. None. That being said, we see stories in everything. We look at a tree with a fence grown into it, and think of when the fence must have been built, who may have built it, etc. We see a couple arguing on the street and ponder as to what could have gotten them to this point. We hear a snapping twig in the woods, and plan our escape route from whatever magnificent beast lurks in the brush! As human beings, we LOVE stories. But why?
We love stories because they teach us how to live. Think about any good movie, book, or other story. It should have moved you in some way. Some stories teach us how to deal with the intense hardship

I will have to completely reorganise my breakfast schedule because of some overzealous admin. Usually I wake up, prepare nomnoms, settle in front of the computer and search for some morning drama. butthurtbrigade was one of my favourite places to acquire my morning dose of concentrated baawws. Now when it is gone I will be forced to actively search for the dramas elsewhere and I don't like that.
My breakfast should look like this:
And now for a few days will look like this. Which is mostly inconvenient and you should care because...umm...yes, because yes.
Slenderween Part 2My night was eventful. It started out following children down the streets as they came to houses. I wouldn't be there, I'd hide, they'd get their candy and when they turned around, I'd be there. Still. Watching.Slenderween Part 22 years ago in Personal More Like This
If one was so brave to touch me, I would break into a dance. The little ones especially enjoyed this.
I even gave one a plastic spider. It was rather enjoyable.
And then I followed others to go eat burritos.
Sadly I could not eat.
A rantI've noticed this on the internet for a while, but only in the past 3 years or so has it really exploded.A rant7 months ago in Personal More Like This
Why do people online feel the need to be "marginalized" or "oppressed"? There's this overwhelming current of "I'm special, I'm different than the rest, pay attention to me." This is present in fandoms, blogging, and social media in general. It's like being disadvantaged has suddenly become a thing that people want. It makes no sense to me.
For example, "bronies". Don't get me wrong, I think MLP is great, and I'm a pretty big fan. But I don't call myself a "brony". I don't wrap my identity up in the fact that I watch a cute show. I'm not "breaking societal norms" or "being oppressed by others" because I watch a damn show. It doesn't define me. I've seen bronies online talk about "coming out" to their family and friends about being a brony, and equating it to the struggles of LGBT people's "coming out". This is extremely offensive, whiny, and reeks of privilege.
More FennekatsSo I was thinking putting a new fennekat up for auction daily for a week? I already finished designing a few. And I want to try something different and don't want to put them on auction all at once so I would upload them separately, one everyday for a week, there would be like, 7 total. I'm using the same base for this batch (two-tailed fennekats) But I spent a lot of time designing each of them... and I kinda want to keep them xD But selling character designs is my main source of incomes at the moment ;w; since I still don't feel ready to re-open commissions yet.More Fennekats11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Warrior Cats onlineI'm making quite some progress on my online game. But I need testers~Warrior Cats online2 years ago in Personal More Like This
My online game Warrior cats online is mostly Roleplay based- -of course. This is also what made me create it. There's not a lot to do; you just get to be a cat and design your own looks as cat.
You star off as a kitten. You get to choose where you're born- -A twoleg nest, somewhere as rogue, or inside one of the four clans.
As you're a kit though, you become an apprentice quite soon. You will get a mentor who will teach you all about the clan life, of as kittypet or rogue; you just grow up. XD
After like two weeks of REAL time, you get your test if you're good to be a warrior, and your leader will give you your warrior name.
Things may happen though, and you have to be careful, because if you die, you're dead. Obviously. Then you can choose to go to StarClan or create a new character.
The leader will receive nine lives. They can make up the warrior names, too. They can also choose to randomize the names, but

Kojima wants Rising 2Straight quote from SPOnG.com:Kojima wants Rising 22 years ago in Personal More Like This
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has heaped a huge amount of praise on Metal Gear Rising developer Platinum Games, revealing that he would like to make a sequel to the action spinoff and would only consider partnering with the Bayonetta studio for the job.
In a roundtable attended by SPOnG, the producer also opined that Platinum is just a technological upgrade away from being "a world class studio."
"As far as [Metal Gear] Rising 2 is concerned, I really do have that in my mind, and I want to make it," Kojima explained. "And if we do make it, it would definitely be with Platinum. I don’t think anyone else could do it.
"Of course, my ulterior motive is that if Rising 2 came out, it would be guaranteed to sell! Which means that I wouldn’t have to worry about that with [new project, Metal Gear Solid] Ground Zeroes. I can just do what
