Cupid's Arrows Ch. 4Drew's misfire had unknown effects to a certain satyr and wood nymph couple who'd been...well, you know... out in the woods. The leaden arrow hit Juniper in the back. The wood nymph shook her head, blinking in confusion.
"You alright?" Grover asked her, tucking a strand of greenish hair behind her ear. For a second she only stared at him, then she got up, looking rather disgusted.
"I don't know what I'm doing here..." she said uneasily, "Um, I've gotta go..." she moved away quickly. Grover stared at her retreating back in shock. What had just happened?
Leo had never realized how attractive Piper was. The way she glared at him when he started to stare, wow. She was almost as intimidating as Thalia when she'd threatened to tie him in a knot for interrupting her conversation with Jason earlier. And speaking of Jason, he'd probably get a shiny golden sword through his head if he ever tried to make a move on Piper with that guy around. Just the kind of unattainable girl he always went for.
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 2 Piper woke up to find Drew already awake and doing her typical job, garbage patrol. Cautiously, she looked around the cabin, wondering what exactly Drew had done. Was something going to grab her if she stepped out of bed? "Morning, sweetie!" Drew crooned, seeing her awake, "Just thought I'd get a head start on my chores."
"You're not fooling me." Piper snapped, "What did you do?"
"Do?" Drew asked innocently, "What do you mean? All I've done is pick up all the garbage you pigs throw on the floor."
Well, at least that was normal, "You don't usually pick up the garbage until I bring out my knife, Drew. What are you up to?"
She got no answer as Drew moved on the clean out the bathroom. She exchanged a wary glance with one of her siblings. Something was definitely up.
Piper was still watching her step as she got everyone in line
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 1Drew stared resentfully out of the Aphrodite cabin's window, watching Jason and Piper talking in the commons area. It wasn't fair. One quest, and suddenly the Dumpster Queen was the most amazing thing ever. She didn't deserve Jason. She didn't even deserve that loser Clovis! But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to get between those two. Of course, there was no way she was going to make her attempts noticeable, not with Piper hanging around with her knife... but she was trying other methods. Paying the Hermes kids to play little pranks when the two were together, finding someone to split them up when they were getting a little too close. She'd spent hours praying to her mother for help, guidance, a piano to fall on Piper's head. So far there had been no response. She wasn't about to give up, though. There had to be a way to get Jason to pay attention to her, a way that wouldn't get her stabbed.Cupid's Arrows Ch. 15 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Cupid's Arrows Ch. 3Drew was feeling incredibly happy today. Not even the news that she'd have to participate in Capture the Flag could get her down. Watching Piper's face when she'd kissed Jason... oh, it was just too good. But it still wasn't enough. There had to be better revenge than just stealing her boyfriend. After all, Piper had completely humiliated her in front of her cabin mates and taken her position as head counselor.Cupid's Arrows Ch. 35 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The easiest thing to do would be making her fall in love with some complete loser, of course, but who was lame enough to give her the greatest satisfaction? Sighing, she got up, deciding to go for a walk around camp in hope of finding some inspiration. Clovis or some other dork from Hypnos' cabin was the obvious choice, but then again the only thing they'd probably do was talk about her in their sleep. No, she needed someone who'd make a complete fool of both of them.
Loud howling sounded in the distance, causing her to jump. What was that? Glancing towards the hill, she saw a l
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 5The night was strangely and pleasantly cool that smmer evening as everyone prepared for Capture the Flag. Her team was murmuring excitedly, so she clapped her hands to get everyone's attention, "Alright, guys, let's get our heads in the game now! Athena campers will give you your positions in private. Nobody else needs to overhear. Just head to where you're assigned when we're ready, okay?" The other campers nodded obediently.Cupid's Arrows Ch. 54 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Annabeth grinned. She was very confident tonight would be a victory for Athena. The cabins she'd gathered might not have seemed that great, but their combined talents would be effective. It was rather annoying that Chiron had insisted on the Hunters splitting in half, one half for each team, since they were such a large group, but at least she had Thalia.
The only thing troubling her was some of the girl's attitudes. Clarisse especially was acting more angry than usual. Apparently everyone thought Piper was charmspeaking their boyfriends. Usually she wouldn't hav

While Percy and Annabeth's banter could get annoying, right now I'm grateful. Their conversation is keeping my mind of things. I glance at Jason. His face is pale, his lips mashed together. Jason's hand is squeezing mine so tight, I think my circulation cut off five minutes ago.
"Okay, guys. This is it," Percy announces.
The Roman camp looms in front of us. Huge white columns make up a building on my right. On the left lies a coliseum. Two gladiators wrestle in the center, while a huge crowd in purple shirts watches. A large wolf sits at the side of the arena. She (I'm guessing she's a she) analyzes the battle a moment longer before cocking her head towards us. The w

For six months, Annabeth was in her "work-work-work-get-the-ship-built-don't-think-about-Percy" mode. Now, though, she's laughing and teasing her boyfriend. It's a little weird, to be honest.
"Guys, if you hadn't already guessed, this is my boyfriend Percy," Annabeth says, beaming at the tall, green-eyed boy beside her. "This is Piper, Leo, and Jason." She points to each of us.
I smile back at him. "Hi." Percy's hair is a messy tangle of curls; his eyes are a bright sea green; and his smile has lit up his w
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 6Annabeth frowned at the sound of fighting off in the distance. Of course she'd expected something from where she'd positioned Piper, but this clamor was far more than she'd expected. It almost sounded like a full-out battle, noise that belonged in the Titan's War, not in capture the flag. But that was for the better. She'd made her strategy reliant on mainly the Hunters and herself, so that everyone else could be distracted by their hatred of Piper without harming her chances of winning. In fact, it was rather helpful to her plan.Cupid's Arrows Ch. 64 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
She was making her way cautiously towards the creek when she heard something off to her left. Drawing her knife, she turned towards the sound, "Who's there? Show yourself!"
A little yelp came from the bushes. She didn't even have time to react as a golden arrow shot out, hitting her breastplate harmlessly. An Apollo camper, then. An enemy.

Cupid's Arrows Ch. 7Thalia groaned, glancing up at the moon. Annabeth was sooo late. She'd sent Nico to get her nearly an hour ago. Well, probably not an hour, but time went quickly when you were just sitting around in enemy territory, waiting for the rest of your team to come and help. She glanced at the flag once again. It was probably a trap, but as far as she could see, the only two people guarding the flag were her Hunters. They would let her pass, though. They might even help her if it was as trap. She'd done enough waiting. She sprinted out of the brush, a silver streak across the night. Sure enough, the girls acted completely bewildered when she raced up and grabbed the flag. The ship jolted a bit as they hit some turbulence. Jason glanced over his shoulder to where Leo was behind the wheel with a slanted sailors hat on his mop of curly brown hair. There was a huge smile on his lips and Jason could tell he was really enjoying finally being able to fly the Argo II, after months of planning and building and failed attempts she was finally working. Annabeth was below deck working on something for the quest, although Jason suspected she was probably working out what she was going to do when she saw Percy again. They still didn't know how much of the guys memory he would have back yet, possibly none, possibly all of it. Jason's fingers tapped nervously against the wooden edge of the ship as he looked down at the world below, they where almost there; he could feel it, like so
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 8Jason drew his sword, stepping in front of her with heroic dignity that really only made the situation more ridiculous. Grover charged at him, bleating with rage, but Jason simply lifted his shield, and the satyr bounced off of it with a thud. Raising his cudgel, he charged again, meeting the same result. Grover got quite a few good whacks in before Jason could struggle back to his feet, but when he did the pommel of his sword sent the satyr sprawling back on his rump, a red lump already forming on his forehead.
Stubbornly, the satyr just got up again, swinging his club wildly. Driven by their enchanted love, demigod and satyr were almost equal, battering at each other incessantly. Drew watched them with growing irritation. Stupid arrows! This was not
Cupid's Arrows Ch. 9Annabeth trekked angrily back towards the woods. Her legs complained with every step, and her head listed forward as if she were about to fall over. It wouldn't surprise her if she did. There were plenty of campers still healthy enough to go back into the woods in search of the last few kids, but nobody had volunteered to help. With no other options apparent, Nico decided the best course of action would be to stare at it and hope he'd figure something out. Surprisingly, this was a good strategy, as the quiver suddenly came into view, the Mist rolling away with a weird hiss.
The quiver would've made any of the Apollo kids drool; it was big yet light, holding tons of arrows, and glittered with fine silver-and-gold patterns. Why on Earth would anyone leave this in Drew's incapable hands?
Drawing a couple of the grayish ones, he looked up at the girls. They were both bruised and battered, staggering a little but obviously not anywhere close to giving up.
Running up to them, he tossed the arrows, fortunately hitting th

Jason and Piper Proposal 8Carving PumpkinsJason and Piper Proposal 85 years ago in Romance More Like This
Piper and Jason were sitting on a picnic table on Pipers back porch carving pumpkins for Halloween in three days. The "pumpkin guts" as Piper called them were covering the table.
Piper was carving a mediocre 'scary' face into hers, with the triangle eyes and the mouth with fangs. Jason was carving something a little more complex, when he first had the idea he though it would be easy, but carving words into a pumpkin proved much harder than just writing them.
He had been with Piper officially for seven years, after sailing back to the Legion camp and finding out that him and Reyna had broken up a few weeks before he went missing. He wished Piper had always been the girl, and that there never was a Reyna.
Since then he had seen a lot of love at Camp Half-blood. The older capers were getting married left and right, the current Aphrodite cabin had a list of the engaged (and date of wedding) the married and the parents. Jason wanted his and Pipers names added to the

It was the hardest thing I've ever done, pretending I didn't remember Annabeth.

I get to this dumb Roman camp, pretend to belong, to show that I was the son of Pos- I mean Neptune, and then start training. Or, retraining, I should say. Oh, and that tattoo they put on my arm? Man that hurt. I don't need that constant reminder on my skin that I'm a son of Poseidon. I get that enough from the monsters that follow me every waking minute of my days, just because I'm a half-blood.
Training with the Romans was tough. They fought tooth and nail, in a sort of all-inclusive brutality that made my hair stand on end every time we had to fight each other. Gone was the sense of camaraderie and friendship that made Camp Half-Blood so worthwhile. The number of campers I'd seen taken away in stretches after fights in this camp was unnerving. Who would want to stay here?
Oh right. The hundreds of Roman campers who were fighting my
