There was something totally epic about autumn, Alfred thought.
The way the leaves in New England turned the colors of fire came especially to mind when he listed the best parts of fall. He loved the digging the rake out of the shed in the backyard and scraping the red and orange foliage into a pile that ____ would demolish instantly by jumping into it.
Then it would be winter, and it would rain and snow, and he and ____ could spend the nights cuddled together in front of a fireplace, or maybe do something fun like snowboarding.
But he knew what the best part really was.
"YOU!" he declared loudly, pointing at the innocent-looking pumpkin sitting in the grocery store window, "GET IN EVERYTHING I EAT."
You giggled and rolled your eyes.
You would always come second to his beloved pumpkin foods. And you were totally okay with that.

Of all the crap and good things
Is my heart
On the outside of it all
And everything else is underneath
Not something you hear every day
But things have changed, haven't they??
Used to be small
Pumping with high spirits
And craving for experience
And boy, it's had its experience now
But that heart
Is still new
And still pumping
Because it's a heart
Some say their hearts are in pieces
But that's because they don't bother to put the pieces together
They sit there and stare at the mess
They cry because they're helpless
Because they haven't grown their angel wings
Such a childish thing
But I still believe
Those two little bumps in my back
They're angel wings
And they really belong on my heart
But haven't found their way yet
It takes lots of practice to learn how to fly
When I'm old and weary
When my muscles and my bones
Can't handle this anymore,

Stuck in the middle

Love isn't beautiful!

John naturally surged out in front to meet them, all grins and giggles. "Wow Karkat, you're nothing like I imagined!"
"What's that supposed to mean?!" A short, grumpy troll said from in front of John, crossing his arms angrily and looking up at John.

After John greeted all of them, Jade was the next up. She landed Karkat with a very big hug, and proceeded to do so with the rest of the group as well, making one of them jump in surprise. Dave just

Soul grunted with pain as he took yet another crushing blow from the Werewolf. He had just managed to block it but it only lessened the damage slightly. He landed hard on the stone street and tasted blood. The fight had not been going well at all. Soul was tired and battered but Free looked fresh like he hadn't taken a single hit from Soul. This was true and untrue at the same time. Yes he had landed plenty of hits, but Free healed almost instantly every time. He wasn't sure how much longer he could keep this up but he had to keep trying. For Maka's sake. He shakily stood, spitting the blood out of his mouth as he did and turned again to face Free. The werewolf had patiently waited for Soul to stand before attacking again. *Damn it! He's just playing with me* He thought savagely as he braced for the next blow.
"No! NO! STOP! Leave him ALONE!" Maka screamed. She couldn't take this. She couldn't stand to see Soul suffering. He was fighting with all his might to protect her and she

Keroro had never done his chores at this speed before. He knew that if he didnt get down to the base in five minutes that Giroro would surely have some sort remark about him being late all the time. Maybe even Raido would say something. After all, Raido appeared to have better potential for leadership. Keroro scrubbed furiously at the floors. The last spot had been cleaned off.
He wiped his forehead and got up to get to the base.

Citizens and students bustled this way and that, enjoying their Sunday morning and appreciating what time they had before they had to go back to work at the start of the new week.
Well, at least they were happy. The same could not be said for Maka Albarn and her companions.
To say the least, Maka was thoroughly annoyed, and more than a little put out. They had woken up early as planned, they had everything packed and ready by the front door, everything had gone according to plan or so she had thought.
But then they had lost one of the tickets, and all hell had broken loose in their little apartment. Tables had been turned over, books thrown everywhere, bed spreads ripped and torn apart in a mad dash to find the missing ticket. Ragnarok had even had a near death experience when Maka, scream
