Hey everybody,

as promised, here is the step by step for the last painting I posted. I feel a bit silly because it is basically nothing new... There are so many good tutorials on the internet but I still felt like sharing my process..
Download the file for fullview! And please remember - there is no "correct" way to paint these, it`s just my way ;)

I hope it helps at least a few of you :)
Thanks for watching!

Process for [link] , please hit "download" for full-size.

This would be my ideal process when everything goes right: figure out stuff in sketches, no flip-flopping in painting stage, and everything just kind of falls into place.

This is my 8th WoW TCG, and I've done a few more since painting this one... unfortunately, this orderly kind of process is not typical for me.

Hopefully with more practice in sketching, I can stop myself from trying to jump into painting stage before I'm anywhere near ready.

Here was my process - or lack there of - while working on the undead death knight wow card. If you are an aspiring artist, I hope this will provide some insight to how a noob artist work. If you are a badass... just smile knowingly and move on :) Production-wise, it's a fail process with lots of wasted work. However, it was one of those paintings where I struggled a lot but learned a lot at the end.
