Magnetism, chapter 6Chapter 6: Of run-down towns and guild colleagues (where Levy finds out that the saying "diamonds in a rough" is true and a certain friendly person introduces himself to Gajeel)
Levy gazed at the town spreading in front of her, searching for the words to describe the sight on display.
"Man! What a dump."
And that was Gajeel, effectively summing up her thoughts on Giku. The town could barely be called that. It was small and run-down and most of the buildings were old with some of them practically falling apart.
"It looks rather... desolate," Levy agreed. The region where Giku was located used to be a major crossing point for people wanting to travel out of Fiore. But then the new roads had been built, closer to the more populated areas and Giku slowly fell into an obscurity, ousted out of its position by the other towns.
"Still, it should make it easier to search it."
Levy nodded. They were the only two people who got off the train in the town. Even the conductor looked at

Gajeel walked quickly over to Mira and Levy, while all the eyes in the guild looked at him. He had just pissed of Mira, this could mean a trip to the hospital .. or death. 'What the hell was i thinking answering THE DEMON like that! Crap .. crap .. crap .. CRAP. What do i do....?' The Iron dragon slayer said to himself in his head. Even if he was a strong, scary, tough dragon slayer he was no match for Mira when she was angry. God damn it she was as scary as Titania! Mira wasn't called a demon for no reason...
"Y-yes Mirajane? Everyone's eyes on Gajeel as he spoke.
Mira was standing at the time, and sat next to Levy. With her glare she ordered Gajeel to sit down across from them, which he did as quickly as he could so he would anger her anymore. They stared at each other in silence, Levy only looked down at the table. Mira's deadly glare had faded away and was re

"Hmm," Master Makarov stroke his beard thoughtfully. "So he was gone by the time you got around to check his body."
The Shadow Gear and Gajeel stood in front of the Master, telling him about the mission in Sakura. Most of the talking was done by Levy, since Jet and Droy had been knocked out by a potion fed to them by the sect members and they hadn't witnessed much of the fight. Gajeel was standing a little bit to the side, throwing in a comment now and then, mostly to the effect of how useless the enemy mages had been.
The journey back to the guild had been uneventful. No fight, either verbal or physical had broken out between the three males. Levy had been safe and unhurt in the morning and had chastised Droy for even daring to ask about it. Gajeel had kept throwing little glances her way but since h

In those cases where it is of vital importance to ensure the continuous survival of the patient whose organs are failing, it is possible to temporarily take out those organs and supply their functions with the magical power of the healer. It is also possible to repeat the same procedure on a healthy person. In that case, the magic must be continually supplied by the person on whom the procedure has been performed, not by the healer.
There have been suggestions that this exchange of living tissue for a magical power could be used to gain a semblance of immortality - your heart or lungs cannot be pierced if there are no heart or lungs to be pierced - but the few cases in which it had been attempted had failed. The imbalance it creates in the body of a person, the continuous strain on the magical power of the user, the unnaturality of the immortali
HookNote before you read: This is a oneshot for Gajeel x Levy—I just want to show that my writing style can stretch to modern times and to past times, as well as times that don't exist. So let's hit the shuffle button on my oldie's mix (which has a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy on it oh god) and start writing some stuff—this was not plotted out at all. The first thing she noticed about the guy was that he was extraordinarily tall. Not that she wasn't one of the shortest people in her class, anyway. Levy landed hard in the cold snow and the jump itself wasn’t that greatly timed either. She had jumped almost without looking or even knowing if a huge rock or maybe even a snow covered river was lurking beneath her. She rolled her legs up to her chin as the huge train rushed past her above her head. The dunking sound and the cold winds hit her harshly and she almost regretted jumping for a second. When the train finally disappeared deeper into the dark forest she stumbled up on her unsteady feet, all she could see of the train was the gray smoke coming from the chimney and she sighed hard in relief that she made it out alive. Where the train was going or what would’ve happened to her if she had been on board for its destination she probably would never know. Probably, she didn’t even want to know. What did it matter now anyway? What she needed now was to find shelter and then think of a way to get home.
Team Natsu’s POV
6. CatThe Guild was unusually quiet today. The absence of Team Natsu and Elfman had reduced the place to a bar of peaceful chatter. A black Exceed sat silently next to his partner as Mirajane set down two beer-filled tankards, one small and one large, in front of the duo. They both picked up the mugs and murmured words of gratitude, simultaneously taking a gulp.6. Cat3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

"If you are trying to get me say that I miss Salamander, it's not happening…" Gajeel drawled, a look of pure boredom on his pierced face.
"Who said I was trying? It looks like I succeeded…" Pantherlily snickered as Gajeel glared at him.
The silence returned for a few minutes until Lily turned back to Gajeel.
"If you are so bored, why don't we go on a job?"
"I don't feel like it," The iron mage sipped his drink.
The Exceed sighed and followed in his suit, lightly tapping the bar with his paw. Gajeel looked down at his tiny partner, his gaze falling on an oddity in fron
The Promise ~ Chapter 5 “Beauty daily discovered some valuable qualifications in the monster, and seeing him often had so accustomed her to his deformity, that, far from dreading the time of his visit, she would often look on her watch to see when it would be nine, for the Beast never missed coming at that hour.”The Promise ~ Chapter 51 year ago in Drama More Like This
It became something of a ritual for her to be greeted in the morning. If she stayed in her room till the hour of nine, the beast would come to her room and knock upon her door. If she went down the stairs and was in one of the many halls, he would find her and walk beside her to breakfast.
Whoever made these fine meals was a saint to Levy. She was sure that it was not the beast himself—for what can one do with claws that tore everything to pieces? But no matter how much she searched, or how long she looked—no matter where she went on her mad adventures, she never found a cook of any kind. Even that voice she had heard that one day

Levy blushed profusely at their proximity, but did not try to move away. After Gajeel had calmed down last night she had been able to lead him back to bed and get him to lay down next to her. Once she had settled herself, he had wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. She had stiffened slightly and a fierce blush heated her cheeks, but she had not objected. It was immensely comfortable laying there with his arm wrapped around her waist, the heat of his body radiating out towards her and keeping her warm enough that she didn't need a blanket.
She smiled at the memory and slowly snuggled closer, trying not to wake him. She didn't ever want this moment to end. Unfortunately, just a few minutes later Gajeel stirred

Chapter 1: The Beginning
My eyes scanned the room, watching everyone present in the guild carefully. The guild was oddly desolate, but then again it was a Friday night and I knew everyone would either be out on jobs, at home, or at some trashy club. Well, Cana would be anyway. I nodded to myself slightly when I had assured no one was looking my way and then focused my gaze on the one person I wanted to watch. Natsu.
The normally active Dragon Slayer was now stretched out across one of the guild's tables, asleep and snoring loud enough to wake the entire town. Happy was lounging next to him, looking almost identical as a high pitched squeal of a snore left his mouth.
I sighed, my eyes focusing on Natsu's face. He looked so different when he slept. Peaceful, calm, two things I never saw when he was awake. I reached behind myself, not taking my eyes off of Natsu as my hand felt around on the counter behind me clumsily. Finally I felt the handle to my drink and grasped it, pulling

“Gajeel!” Levy screamed, watching as her beloved Dragon Slayer’s body began to twist in unearthly ways. She watched helplessly as he turned to face her, his mouth was open in a frozen yell.
“Gajeel!” She screamed again, kicking and thrashing at her attacker, hoping to break free. The grip of Zuri The Manipulator waned, and Levy easily wriggled out. She took off to Gajeel’s side.
He twisted on his side again, and Levy felt pain in her heart. The pain of knowing that he was being hurt. His eyes opened halfway, and locked with hers. She attempted to scream his name again, but her head was thrown back.
She felt a sharp pain in the side of her head, it was followed by her ears ringing, and her vision suddenly becoming blurred. It has been said that the best way to see what kind of person someone was subconsciously is to observe the bedroom of that said person. And if there was one word that described the room of Gajeel Redfox, it was Black. Its walls were dark as night, bare as an abyss. The furniture and linen bared the same darkness. Metal trinkets covered his desk and floor. With such a space, one would mostly likely conclude that its resident was a cold, dark man. And that would not have been far from the truth if that individual had been talking about Phantom Lord's Gajeel.
Ever since he had joined Fairy Tail and met her, Gajeel himself began to notice the changes in his quarters. A blood red comforter laid across his bed. Posters of famous Fiore metal rock bands adorned his walls. A dark blue lamp, sitting on a new table, illuminated framed pictures of himself, her, and Pantherlily.
And now, the petite pixie herself, with sky-kissed hair, was laying her sweet head on his bare c

When Gajeel first came to, he smelt wet salt in the air. She had been crying. Vaguely he could remember her broken voice crying out for him to hang in there. Silly girl. Like he would really die after using his strongest attack. A little desperate but not exactly on the level of suicide.
The second time, he smelled the musky odor of her sweat. He wasn't disgusted but actually concerned. After their brief time training, he knew it'd take a bit of movement to actually get her tired. Clearly dragging his unconscious ass around was taking a toll on her. Weren't they there yet?
The third time, he actually felt more alert since the smell of her fear was ripe in the air. Shit. Grimoire Heart must of arrived if she was this anxious. He could vaguely hear voices from behind them, and they weren't moving. They must be hiding somewhere. He wanted to ask what was going on but his tired mind pulled him back to darkness.

After a few quick moments of scanning, her eyes found what they had been searching for, the imposing figure of the iron dragon slayer arguing good naturedly with his Exceed partner Pantherlily.
Levy's thoughts wandered as she watched the two banter back and forth. She and Gajeel had been growing closer and closer ever since he had saved her from Laxus' lightning. It was nearly impossible for her to imagine that she had ever been afraid of the formidable dragon slayer. Levy brought her legs up to her chest hastily, flipping through the pages in her book, all the while glaring at the back of his big stupid head. Her blood pressure was rising and her cheeks were growing hot. Because of anger or embarrassment, she wasn't sure. She was more than a little bashful about her love-hate relationship with him. Not that he knew that she felt that way. Heck, he didn't even know she was there half of the time. Even now.
Without any regard for the book she was reading she grabbed onto the page sloppily, ripping it from the binding and slamming her book closed. She had never torn a book before, but she would make an exception today. He was just so close; it was irresistible.

It was an ordinary sight at Fairy Tail - Levy and Lucy sitting by the bar counter, their noses in their respective books, occasionaly exchanging muffled commentary or quoting a passage that had caught their attention. The picture was so common no one paid any attention to them anymore. Or so it seemed.
Levy rubbed the back of her neck. There was a weird itch there as if a loose strand of hair was tickling her but different at the same time. Levy McGarden blamed her love of book for giving her a poetic mind, for there were certain "touches" she loved and enjoyed:
The coarse touch of fresh parchment.
Wet grass tickling her bare feet.
The soft petals of a sunflower kissing her cheek.
A warm bed, complete with a fluffy pillow.
Water rushing through her sky-colored tresses.
But recently, a few "touches" had been added to her mental list:
The touch of the iron dragonslayer's calloused fingertips tracing the guild mark on her shoulder blade.
The feeling of his ebony mane within her fingers.
Yet, her favorite would always be his rough lips, strong and steady, moving with hers in a sensual dance.
Gajeel Redfox was definitely not some fucking poet, describing everything felt or saw. But he would admit (only to himself) that there were a few "touches" that he liked:
The hard, cool touch of pure iron on his tongue.
The feeling of rugged bark against his wide back when he sat in a t
