Hod was up to his knees in a snowdrift when the first wave of nausea hit him. He dropped his rifle and landed on one knee, catching his breath in surprise. All around him was silent snowfall and the quiet movements of the snow cats in the hills all around. The one he'd had in his sights stopped and turned to stare him down before sauntering off into Winterspring's freezing north.
The troll man sat back on his heels and picked the gun back up. The sickness in his gut twisted slowly and then eased away without so much as a ghost twinge. "Perhaps those rations were a bit too old for eating," he muttered, getting gingerly back to his feet and trudging deeper into the snowy woods. The flakes sifting through the air seemed to eat the sound of his voice as it left his lips in a cloud of steam. He paused to check his bearings once again, and went on alone.
He had left his faithful warp stalker at Everlook's stables, c

"Open your eyes," Noha snapped. "Come on, I don't have all day."
Hod recognized the young troll woman's voice immediately, but the world was still a shifting sea of vertigo that he dared not upset. He kept his eyes tightly shut and grunted softly. "It makes me sick," he murmured.
"Uncle Hod can't get up right now," JuJu said from where she sat by the fire pit stirring a pot of stew. "He sleeps a lot and I have to make him eat or he wouldn't eat at all."
"Oh you big baby," Noha sighed. He felt the hammock he was resting in swing as she leaned against it. Then there were arms under his, pulling him upright. Noha draped his left arm over her strong shoulders and then bent to swing his legs over the edge as well. "Stop complaining about a little bit of fever. You'll never get better if you don't get out of that bed and try." She led him slowly to the doorway and down the ste

I shrunk down further into the couch and resolutely dug my spoon deeper into the Lion-moose Tracks ice cream tub in my lap. I'd seen Katara do this once after a breakup; I was surprised by the results. Sugar did, indeed, soothe the cracks of the heart.
"Sokka, I know you're on the couch. Sit up here for a minute."
I ignored her, shoving the spoon in my mouth and sucking on the frozen treat within the bowl. My oh-so-loving younger sister marched around the front of the couch and planted herself in front of the TV screen, on which I was watching Friends reruns.
"Katara!" I whined. "Move! I need to see if Ross finally realizes he's in love with Rachel and not Emily!"
"You have all ten seasons on DVD," she replied (I clutched them tighter from where I was snuggling them under my old Captain Underpants blanket), "and you've been moping for the past two weeks. I have a solution to your problem."
"You talked to Suki?" I perked up, and Katara sighed.

"Oh no! Italy is in danger! And her sister too! I recognize those screams anywhere! ITALY I AM COOOMMIIING!" Amelia shouted and busted into Arthur's layer. Everyone that was outside waiting came inside with her. What they saw was a whole bunch of women shouting and almost hurting Arthur since he was the first person they saw.
"Everyone remain calm! Stop screaming! Please!" Madeline said but, as always no one noticed except maybe Mathew and Francoise.
"Oh hell no! Nobody does this to us! Che cosa hai fatto?! Wizard stupido, farci tornare! Damnit!" Chiara, or otherwise known as S. Italy, yelled at Arthur hitting him with a shoe. N. Chapter Four: A Wedding Promise.
"Ah! Earth King Lao Bei Fong, it is a pleasure to have you here on my nation." Fire Lord Ozai greeted his long time 'ally' to his nation with all the possible respect he could find, which wasn't much since Ozai only looked at the Bei Fong Family as nothing more than a toll to help him get rid of the annoying and wild Water Tribe. "My condolences for your daughter's terrible accident, such news must have weakened you, allow my slaves to take care of all your needs." Ozai waved his hand at his newest slave whose name was of no importance to him. "You will stay by the king's side and obey his every command."
"That won't be necessary my friend." Lao Bei Fong smiled, Ozai forced himself to smile as well and then waved his hand for Kaya to walk away. "Today we are supposed to declare peace with the Water Tribe, but such a territory is of no importance to my Kingdom, so I will gladly leave the whole control of that land to y

"Mm what is it?" Norway was in the mood to just fall asleep but listened it to what his boyfriend had to say. He does love to talk with him in moments like this. Sweden's look on him didn't change but Norway easily caught the devious glint in his Sweden's- piercing gaze. "I'm thinking we should play a game on everyone tomorrow," Norway blinked once with this.
"What game exactly?" Whatever game or proposition Sweden has in mind, it usually means trouble, Norway knows it very well. Sweden sent a rare smile. "Why don't we switch our personalities on everyone tomorrow? We'll see if we can play with our differences."
Norway raised a brow at this. He reaches out and gentle caresses Sweden's neck, a devious smirk sent in return "Sure, why not?"

Tokka- Face in the Hall I can be who I want to be now that you and I are over. I can hang out with who I want to. I am free. When I told you my mother died, you made it seem like it wasn't a big deal, that it happens all the time. Sure, it happens all the time, but shouldn't you have comforted me at least? You were my girlfriend, after all. I'm doing my best to forget you, it's a lot easier than I tought it yould be. You used to mean everything to me. But it's all over. It's all gone. You're not the girl I fell for. You go out and party every night and hook up with random guys. I don't even know who you are anymore. When I see you in the halls, you just stare at me. It's kind of awkward. I couldn't say this to you, Suki. That's why I wrote this letter to you. Sometimes I wanna quit this song and become an accountant, now
But I'm no good at math and besides, the dollar is down.
Plant palm trees on Lake Michigan before it gets cold
I gotta feel the wind chill again before I get old
It was raining outside.
'No, not just raining' Silver thought solemnly. 'A freaking avalanche of water is more like it.'
Why Silver sat hidden behind a tree outside, watching his fellow friend Gold stare out into the rain from the warmth of the lucky boy's house was unknown to him. He normally told himself it was loneliness on any other occasion, but at this point the amber-haired teen could truthfully say,
I wanna scream "I love you" from the top of my lungs
But I'm afraid that someone else will hear me.
You can only blame your problems on my world for so long
Before it all becomes the same old song.

Jiraiya sat up indignantly. "I have a perfectly natural healthy glow, I'll have you know. Unlike you."
Orochimaru rolled his eyes, and turned the page of his book. Realising he'd failed to provoke the other boy, Jiraiya lay back down onto the ground. He watched the sky boredly for a few seconds, before rolling onto his front and observing the blonde girl who was with them. Tsunade was sharpening her kunais with a worrying viciousness.
"What are you doing?" he asked lazily.
She looked at him with thinly veiled annoyance. "Mowing the sodding lawn. What do you think?" She waved a knife at him explanatorily before returning to her task.
Jiraiya poked around his teeth with his tongue, searching for any stray pieces of food.

Prompt 96- found out
One of the hardest things in life is to keep a secret. Especially if it's from someone you trust with every fiber of your soul. Like your little sister. Sokka never really kept secrets from Katara, mainly because he never had to. Katara would easily find out the things he was hiding. But he and Toph both knew well that Katara would have nothing short of a heart attack when she found out about their relationship. Saying Toph was too young, what about Suki? Though Sokka had broken up with her, she seemed to still linger around him. But keeping a secret like this suddenly got a lot harder when Toph got pregnant.
Hm maybe a heart attack is less painful than it sounds.

Even before the zeppelin's tie lines were secured to the tower dock, Hod could tell they'd arrived at Undercity because of the sharp smell of the pine forests, the dampness in the air, and the perpetually overcast sky. He'd stayed below deck for most of the journey this time. The tight quarters were packed with families and merchants. Most adventurers stayed on the main deck, but there weren't many heading to Undercity these days, it seemed. There had been a plump goblin woman with eight children who had clung to his leg during their departure from Orgrimmar. She'd prattled away about how he'd have to protect her and all the passengers if trouble showed up because he was one of the few, didn't he know? One of the few real fighters on this flight, and oh, wasn't it just terrible how everything was falling to pieces these days? All the while, he'd been fighting down the nausea twisting in his belly. His gloved hand curls around the handle of the door, the weight on his heart threatening to crush the small organ as he pulls back inviting the bitter air inside. One foot extends itself into the approaching winter, cold seeping into him through his thick coat his master had gifted him a long time ago.

Glancing over his shoulder he sees the housemaid, Mey-Rin, a slight hatred rippling through him. Ciel has grown more attached to her lately, for reasons unknown to him. He's seen them taking leisurely strolls through the white rose gardens, the empty corridors and he's even seen her sneak his young master sweets now and then. Exhaling he turns to address her, the door still open.

"Someone of Value"Its odd to think this way, I know,"Someone of Value"8 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
But I cant help but to feel,
Like a white dove flying through snow.
Always trying to pass by the others,
And to be noticed for once, to be held in regard,
To be treated as if I was something of worth.
Its odd as I think of it now,
But who am I to change the world?
Ive been trying to brighten someones day,
Yet those fleeting moments seem to fly away.
Then it occurs when someone notices me,
He sees me for who I am
He smiles softly as he takes my hand,
Holding me tight in his warm embrace,
Placing his sweet lips across my face.
I fall into a rush of joy and wonder why
Why me? I am no one compared to you
Great brother of the sky, why did you choose to lift me high
I am a disgrace, bound to destruction, for that is my fate
Yet you place your hand on my cheek, whispering harmoniously,
You are my beloved, my hearts only one.
You are full of value and worth, greater than youll ever know.

Touko gripped her fists tightly, feeling fear arise in her heart. She felt them drop to her side, as her eyes narrowed with either determination or terror. Either one would be a fuel to her mission.
She had been thrown into a war of equality. She followed the path of truth- the truth that life could become beautiful. The brown haired girl had always been the one to face things in a red light, but now- her soul had been filled with nothing but the colours of black and white. Two opposing forces resided in her, one calling out for help.
"I won't back down. Not when I am fighting a war to save a misguided soul." And with that, she pushed the double doors open, ready to be the soldier on the front line- like fathers of a time before hers.

Her feet carried her forward once more and she found herself staring down at Mordin, enveloped in his experiment. He had his equipment sprawled around him and in it's center lay dozens of seashells. Blue ones, green ones, ones with holes and ones with swirls, some smooth, others rough. Shepard smiled brightly as her friend had got
