It's been six years since I've seen you. I miss you. George is doing ok I guess, he puts on a brave face for me and little Freddy, but he seems so distant. I think since your death he has only been half of a person, like he lost half his soul. He still has nightmares, he thrashes around moaning your name until I wake him up. Then he apologizes and goes into the bathroom. I know what he does in there, he stares at his face in the mirror and sees you looking back. I know he can't stand it, having to be reminded of you all the time.
He walks to visit you every morning, sometimes before I wake up, sometimes he takes Freddy with him. Freddy is about four now so when he comes home he tells me all the funny pranks Daddy and Uncle Fred used to do together. Once when Freddy was very little and we all went as a family, he asked George why we didn't just take you home so we could be together all the time. George asked me to take Freddy home, and he didn't come back all day. When he did

Mum suggested I write you this letter, told me it would make me feel better. I don't see how because you can't see it and I won't get to see your reaction to it, but I don't have anything to lose, so here we are.
It's been a year since you died. Everything is still the same, but somehow, it feels different. The joke shop is still as strong as it was with you here. Ron is helping me out but the little git doesn't appreciate my jokes and ideas as much as you did.
I miss you so much, Fred. I keep thinking about how I never got to say my final good-bye to you and tell you how much I love you. I do love you. I hope you knew that even though we never said it much to each other. Or anyone else.
I'm struggling. I'm not going to lie to you, Fred. I pretend like I am okay, I laugh, I joke around, but my heart is still hurting. I want to hug you, pull pranks with on Ron and Hermione when they start snogging, to hear you again. I pray every night hoping your having fun with Tonks, encour

He was so young.
He was so beautiful.
I wish I could say he lived a happy life.
He was a stunning flower that died; after the snow came down.
When Fred Weasley died in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I shed enough tears to fill a glass of water to the top. It wasn't possible. Fred couldn't have.
He was charming, handsome, funny. He most certainly did not deserve to die.
I was shocked when I read the words on paper, my eyes filled with tears. And seeing it on the big screen, it just made me sob, go to sleep thinking about him, like he was someone I loved, somebody I knew personally.
Most people were shocked by Fred's death, by everyone's death.
Snape, Remus, Tonks. Everyone.
They all seemed to be apart of us. We grew up with them all. One night, recently after reading those sad words, I started to go deep into thought. What George must have gone through, seeing his twin brother, lie dead on the floor, how hard that would be for him.

It was your first year at Hogwarts, and you were extremely nervous. Being an only child AND the only witch in your family, you had no idea what you were getting into. It was a stressful beginning of your first day. You almost missed the Hogwarts Express! When you finally found Platform 9 ¾, you were greeted by a prank.
As you were walking towards the middle of the train toward an empty compartment, you heard sniggers and laughter down the hall. You didn't think anything of it until you sat down. The door slid open and two red-headed twins walked in with a bag.
"Hello, miss" one of them said with a grin. "Would you like some candy?"
"S-sure," you said, not really knowing how to reply. He held out the bag, motioning you to pick something out. You slowly stuck your hand into the bag and pulled out a square piece of what looked like chocolate. You smiled chocolate what your favorite candy. You immediately stuck it in your mouth, and you suddenly felt w
The Perfect DateYou know what I really don't understand? Girls. They want everything to be all nice and perfect, and they want us guys to be romantic. Okay. I can understand that. But would it KILL them to help us out a bit? God, Ginny wouldn't tell Harry ANYTHING about her ideal date poor guy had to improvise everything! In the end, he asked Mum and she filled him in (Ginny's favorite food is roast beef, she likes black orchids, her favorite music is the Weird Sisters, etc.). But, seeing as how Mr. and Mrs. Granger are still off in Australia somewhere, thinking that they're Wendell and Monica Wilkins, since Hermione hasn't found them yet I'm pretty much on my own.The Perfect Date5 years ago in Romance More Like This
Let's start over, shall we?
The name is Ronald Billus Weasley, and my best friends are Harry Potter (who is, much to my dismay, dating my little sister Ginny) and Hermione Granger. Well, Hermione and I are going out. Sort of. In a way. We made out on occasion. I'd like to do it much more, but whenever we tried, things li
For Fred Weasley LoversYou walk silently back into the Gryffindor common room. You rub your left hand as the portrait of the Fat Lady closes behind you. You had gotten in trouble with Umbridge today and she made you write "I will not pass notes," with the special quill that makes it appear on your hand. Sure, she's already made you do this three times this week but you can't help always getting caught. You'd come back to the common room to try to find Hermione so she could heal your hand. For Fred Weasley Lovers5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
"Hello, hello," a familiar voice says as you walk past the couch in front of the fire place. You turn to see Fred Weasley casually sitting on the couch. You smile.
"Hey, Fred," you say shyly. You've always had a bit of a crush on the Fred since you both came to Hogwarts.
"Come here," he says motioning you over, "Take a load off." A little blush forms on your cheeks. You walk over and sit on the couch, about one or two feet between you and Fred.
"So," He says, "I heard you got in trouble with Umbridge again today. What does

I could hear the calls from a familiar pair of red headed twins even from my shop across the street. In all honestly the constant screaming and sound effects from various tricks and spells going on all day had been irritating from the very first day the shop had opened. But what was there to do? It was a joke store. Every inch of it built specifically to rile up the mischievousness of everyone who entered.
I personally had never been in; I was far too busy running my own store. My name was Alice McKinley and I ran Alice's wonderland cake emporium. The dumb name wasn't my idea, I came from a long line of strange bakers and my parents, nor I for that mat

"Percy! Fred! George!" called Molly Weasley.
She was holding her youngest child, Ginny, while her second youngest, Ron, was clinging to her leg. Percy, Fred, and George Weasley all ran down the stairs, pushing each other, racing to get to the bottom. Fred reached the bottom first, or was it George? No one could ever tell. Molly even put the letters of their first names on their shirts. Still, they wore each other's clothes. Percy, on the other hand, had reached the bottom last, tripping on the bottom steps. His square glasses jumped off his face, and he searched frantically for them before Molly took pity on him and got them herself.
"Percy, Fred, George, I have already told Ginny and Ron, but I have to run out. Charlie and Bill are at Hogwarts, and your father is at work. I have hired babysitters," she explained. Percy, Fred, and George groaned.
"But Mum--" whined Fred.
"--we don't like babysitters--" whined George.
"--and say we're bad--"
"--and give us punishments

"Fred.." George showed no pride. He cried, openly, unabashedly as he pulled his twin's lifeless body into his arms. He screamed. He sobbed. He tried to shake Fred, first gently, then harder. Death had never crossed his mind. One of them couldn't die.. they would die together, or not at all. It just wasn't possible. His heart felt like it had been ripped out of his body and trampled upon.
"Its okay, Fred, it's... just open your.." George choked on his sobs. "Wake up," He finally managed, "Wake up. Wake up. Oh God, please just wake up.." He was vaguely aware of people around him, trying to pry his hands off of Fred, but he wouldn't allow it. He swung hard with one arm, missing, but whoever it was grunted.

"Fred, put me down!" you shrieked into the ear of the much taller red headed boy. He had thrown you over his shoulder and was running towards the lake with every intention of throwing you in. "Don't you dare! Fred!"
Fred only laughed and upon reaching the edge of the lake, tossed you into the water. You didn't go without a fight though, because before you were completely free of him, you managed to grab a hold of the front of his robes and bring him in with you.
You smiled at the memory, looking up at the sky as you rocked back and forth on your porch swing. Fred had always been a lot of fun, even when you were mad. But looking back on it, being dunked into the lake wasn't all that bad.

Fred & George: A Short Character Analysis
Right, so first off I'm a big fan of the twins: both twins, not just Fred. I've always appreciated both as separate characters and I've never really understood how so many people never picked up on their differences. So I decided to do what I do best - RANT (wayhey!). Keep in mind this is just my own opinion based on what I've read in books 1-7.
In the first place it's important to know and understand the twins' differences, especially if you're writing a story that puts particular focus on them. Yes, both twins are bonkers, fun-loving, flirtatious, stubborn and lest we forget both in the possession of a razor sharp wit. The books may describe them as identical right down to the last freckle, but this doesn't mean that they are one hundred percent identical in personality - no twins are. In fact, if Fred and George were the same they wouldn't make such a good team. Fred and George are a perfect double act and in any double act you
