In honor of him, we're dedicating this month's art jam to a prehistoric giant he helped create, which in turn, went on to inspire many other such monster films, including the original "Godzilla".
"The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" is a 1953 film that was loosely adapted from Bradbury's short story "The Fog Horn", which told the tale of a lone dinosaur who mistakes a light house and it titular horn, for one of its own kind.
Of course, the Rhedosaurus of the finished film, isn't quite the same figure from the original short story (he's quite mean actually), but is a conceptual spawn of "The Fog Horn" regardless - especially since Ray Bradbury was involved with the film's production. It should also be noted, that Ray H

Ray lead a hell of a long, fruitful life. He gave us all so very, very much, and now is not so much a time for mourning as it is a time for remembrance and celebration of a life well lived.
Many will recall that my first full one-shot comic was WRATH OF THE TITANS: CYCLOPS, a tribute to Harryhausen's immortal imagining of the Cyclops. Ergo, Ray had a special place in my heart.

Last year I sculpted up a few portraits of Bryan Cranston as Walter White from my favorite show "Breaking Bad". I was finally able to put the finishing touches on 3 custom figures of Walt, all of which were given to the creators of the show this past week.
It's been a helluva lot of fun, and a tremendous thrill to get to meet the artists behind this terrific show that has been so inspiring to me. Kinder people you will not meet!
So here's a look at the finished custom figures. These were pieced together from various sources, using Hot Toys bodies, and clothes I found on ebay and then altered. The heads were all painted by some talented friends of mine, and they really brought Walt to life. It's been a lot of work to try and piece these together in my free time, but I really enjoyed doing it.

Step 1-Fill taco shell (hard shell only,soft tacos are for fags) with as much beef as the damn thing can hold. Up to the very top.
Step 2-Put as much sour cream on top as it can hold now. Sour cream is the best part,so add lot's of it!!!!! At this point it will start to fell quite heavy,which is very good.
Step 3-Add salsa at the very top of that bee-otch. Right on the sour cream. Mild salsa,though,I admit I am quite a pussy. If anything has fallen by this point,you are doing a good job.
Step 4-Grab a handful of cheese and drop it right on the sour cream and salsa part. IT'S RAINING CHEESE!!!!! This will make it get all over the plate,which is also very good.
Step 5 (optional)-Lift the taco,but make sure nothing falls off. It is very heavy now,no? WHATEVER YOU DO,DON'T DROP IT.
Step 6- EAT THAT MOTHERFUCKER! IT'S DELICIOUS. Eat it in the most piggish,unattractive way possible. Manners are for old people. No less than two m
