Born A Traitor
From birth he has been a traitor, having betrayed nature itself, and now he was about to betray the only family he had left. After this he would have no one. His only allies would be the dark shadow he called a Master and the dark side itself.
The engines of his gunship were humming peacefully. The calm before the storm, as it was called. There were at least twenty Clone Troopers in the ship with him. They were relatively quiet, checking their gear and rechecking it. Or were they? They could be conspiring against him at this very moment, plotting to kill him the moment he turned his back on them.
All beings were capable of betrayal in his dark eyes.
"Commander?" He called silently. "A word with you, if you please."
The blue-armored clone made his way through the crowd of soldiers and crouched in front of his superior, who had sat down in a corner, pitch-black robe covering him almost entirely. The Commander seemed alert, left hand on his holstere

Don't say. Don't whisper.
But I can't deny my feelings,
So Obi-Wan my never lover,
I love you...but I can't say it.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Chapter 1 Two days earlier
Hawke finished the orange paint job on his helmet. He finished basic training, top of his class and was transferred to the 52nd Airborne cavalry. Clones always designed their armor in unique ways and gave themselves unique nicknames to go with it. Hawke, he was obsessed with airstrikes. That's where he received the name Hawke, "fast speed, low drag" was his motto. That became the airborne motto later.
The Airborne helmet type was called a Beehive because of its peculiar look. Unlike other clone helmets the visor drops down to the bottom of the helmet and goes across. On the Beehive helmet the visor runs thinly across and doesn't stretch out to the bottom. The bottom jolts out creating a bulky look.

We are soldiers and we have orders.
General Secura has led us valiantly from the start of this conflict.
Through dark mountains to fluorescent marshes, from Acklay to battle droids;
She has saved my life countless times and I hers.
Pacification is our mission and our mission is on Felucia.
My hologram projector pinged --
“Execute order 66” it said.
My training is clear,
I am a soldier and I have my orders.
On patrol we scouted ahead of the column.
She approached the crest of the hill,
the planet seemed to go silent..
No ambient plants, no animals, no droids.
Thankfully we had on our helmets that day.
None of us could stand to look her in the eye; until she began to turn.
My rifle already fixed upon her back; my eyes met her glance,
Before her instinct could react we pulled our triggers.
We kept firing..
we kept firing hoping to quicken her end.
It was quicker than the inquisition that would soon come;
quicker than a life lived in a c

Ringing that.. awful ringing..
Echo strained the shake away the high pitched whine echoing in his ears. The after effect of the fiery explosion maintained its steady tone, deafening the loud scream of his name. The ARC's movement hurt, and Echo feebly ceased his attempt. The crippled clone lay in silent agony.
On the ground I lay
Motionless in pain
I can see my life flashing before my eyes
The flames around him licked harmlessly at the plastoid of his armor, it's glow was fading..
"We have to go NOW!" The general's voice startled Echo, reminding him of the whine in his ears that was finally dulling. It took Echo a moment to register the meaning..
Did I fall asleep
Is this all a dream
Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare
NO! Echo thought in sudden panic I'm alive! Alive!
The ARC mustered all of his strength to open his eyes to drive away the creeping darkness. Nothing.. his eyes were open. But.. the light.. still faded.. Echo fought the darkness, fear for

"What's in there?" Rex asked as he pointed at the helmet Cody held in his hands.
"Expansion foam," Cody replied with a smile.
They both crept down the sterile and glossy corridors of their water world home. Kamino was always so very white and bright. It hurt your eyes if you weren't used to it. Rex hadn't known anywhere else in his short life so his eyes had somehow managed to adjust to all this brightness. This was the only home he had ever had and sometimes it felt as though it were a prison.
Clones were raised and trained in these halls and the adjoining training areas. Always told not to step out of line, not to get into any trouble, be good little clones and you will be rewarded by getting yourself blown up in the name of someone else's freedom. That was what they were all taught from the time they were decanted from the jars and were thrown into flash t

Rex instinctively ducked at the sound of the troopers cry; he swiftly dodged the explosion and jumped back up taking down another droid with his trusty twin blasters. Just as he watched the droid fall to the ground a troopers voice broke into his helmet; it was Jase. Jase was one of his brothers he was close to, they had been on Kamino but Rex had got moved in Captain training while Jase was shifted into demolitions as a side of his basic trooper training.
Rex, weve gotta take out this post or we wont last long! Jase was still firing at droids as he spoke, Theyre about to let another wave loose!

"A leader is a dealer in hope."
Beams of light shone brightly through the thick Kaminoan skies. A very rare sight to be seen thought the republic officer, having recently arrived after receiving a direct order to the planet by Chancellor Palpatine himself. Standing alone on the wet platform looking towards the sky, a low rumbling could be heard in the distance. From the clouds burst the hulls of several Acclamator Class Cruisers. Their low rumbling rowing into thunderous roars as they near the platforms, lowering both tremendous landing gear and ramps.
A small white blur of a trooper slowly paced down the ramp of the nearest cruiser. His helmet different from any other the officer had seen prior, "Captain Rex I presume? It is an honor to finally meet you. Major Haide Valhallen sir." Rex removes his helmet, "I've heard of your exploits major.

"Check for stragglers. We need to be sure all civilians have left the area. Things are going to get nasty soon." Rex had told them.
The first three houses were clearly empty; they didn't even bother getting off their speeder bikes. The road they were traveling on was just a mere path with two ruts separated by a grassy hump in the center. Trees overhung it on both sides, some lower branches managing to slap out at the clone trooper pair as they road along.
"Uhg.. no one is out here.. let's just get back sarge." Jix grumbled, slapping away a branch as they flew by.
"I think the last house is just around this curve," Coric's voice crackled over the comm. "The road ends at this little--"
"Look out!" Jix shouted.
They came out of the blind curve and two kids, a boy and a girl, were standing in the knee deep grass in the road. They made no effort to get out of the way of the oncoming

Delta Squad remained in the weapons training room even after the others had left, uncomfortable with waiting while there was a mystery waiting to be solved on "Planet StarChild". It was named "StarChild" after it appearing out of no where two months ago. No known inhabitants, parents, environment all seemed native to those who saw it. Out of curiosity (and precaution), the Delta squad was to be sent as an investigation team to gain information on this "unknown rock"... She remembered back to when she first met the Captain. "Who's the youngling?"
She had fought by him, protected the clone and his company. In payment, they protected her. She was part of their squad. When Skyguy wasn't around , they were quite a excitable bunch. They rarely called her by her rank, more often "Kid" and "Ashoka". Ashoka found this amusing, technically she was four years older then them. They were kids. But in the end, they were all brothers.
"And sister." Rex would always add.
Ashoka remembered Rex's fierce protectiveness of her and his men. He would nearly take a laser to the head to rip down a droid too close to a trooper or herself. She would always scold him after what ever battle had taken place, but of course it was in vain. He had sworn to protect her, as most clones made a oath to do for their jedi officers. But Ashoka knew Rex did more then that. He treated her like one of his clone brothers.

All to you to fight him.
The menace once Anakin Skywalker,
My noble husband your loving father...

You fight the phantom menace,
Determined to stop his carnage.
I hadn't the strength to stop him
And Obi-Wan couldn't kill him.

I'm proud of you,
As I watch from beyond the force.
Leia, you're just like me!
Luke, you're just like Ani.
But you've both got my height.
I'm here for you if you cry.
I'm that comforting voice
At the back of your minds.
Always with you no matter what.
That's what mothers are, forget you nots.

Anakin followed their escort with Fordo and Ahsoka at his side. Having the ARC Captain with him was reassuring oddly enough. Like Alpha before him, Anakin had been through a lot with Fordo and so found his presence reassuring and even enjoyable though Fordo was more businesslike than Alpha had been. He'd also been with Obi-Wan and Anakin during the whole Dark Reaper mess among some of their other early battles in the ongoing war.
“Do you think they're going to do it?” Ahsoka asked idly.
Fordo didn't turn to look at her as they continued.
“They're not going to have much choice if they want our support.”
“And they do want to ensure that their planet remains theirs.” Anakin provided. “They need that deal with the Chancellor to ensure that happens.”
“We could just take the fuel supplies ourselves after we beat the Seps.” Ahsoka said offhandedly.

Moments before, her parents and baby brother were on their way to meet her uncle Frances, who was returining home from a military release. The next thing she knew, the vehicle was thrown off the bridge and into the river by a loud and bright explosion.

Stepping out onto the decking of the hanger bay, his boots clicked with a wonderfully precise sound. It sounded good to his ears because it was the one thing that always was in this war filled with things that just weren't always absolute. Finally off planet and en route. It always felt good to pull up roots and head out into the blackness of space. This was no different and he smiled underneath his helmet.
"We will be jumping in approximately two minutes," a trooper stated and handed Rex a datapad with information scrolling across it at break neck speed. "This is an upfeed of all the wounded and dead."
Rex shoved the datapad back at the man punching it into the stomach of the trooper's armor and causing him to gasp. Oh its just the rest going off like that. Boy, their gonna have a hangover and go through drills. Sucks for them. Denal smirked.
