This is the FINAL. I've had a lot of people ask me to do some step scans for Blonde hair, and thought this would be a good one.
Katie Herzig is a Singer-Songwriter from Nashville, and is amazingly talented! She is also part of the highly acclaimed group of Singer-Songwriters known as the "Ten out of Tenn" (Tennessee), along with my son, Andrew Belle. Katie is the one who sang on his song "Static Waves"
I drew this for a friend I've never met on Twitter, for his daughter's birthday, in exchange for a pumpkin carve. I know what you are thinking, but this guy is crazy talented. He does what we do on styrofoam pumpkins!

I've had the reference photo of this saved for over a year. I loved the highlights and the challenge with his hair and the "negative space" work required. I'm still too impatient to do it correctly, but this is the best I can do for now.

FYI...both views are larger than the drawing, and that WHITE spot where HER left eye should be in the dark I thought was cool on the reference photo HERE [link] I first converted it to B&W then cropped it down to a head shot

It's about time I did one of Bono? I was challenged by trying to get the glasses dark, yet still barely able to see his eyes. I know his nose looks disproportionate, but the photo looks off too? One of those cases where I should have drawn him a perfect nose?
