Chapter 15: The ReturnIn the month that Aaron left everything was peaceful. From the cold mountains of Dante's Freezer to the beautiful valley, where Hunter's people lived. Even in the temple things were peaceful...except for Spyro and Cynder. Since the night they mated, a certain awkwardness was felt between them. What had they done, was it normal, and what did it all mean? Even though they spoke with Aaron and Ignitus before, it just didn't seem enough; something made both think about it, almost if...they regretted it. These were the questions flowing through their heads as they thought of that night. They didn't want to risk hurting the other's feeling's with asking this and they were too embarrassed to ask the elders, it didn't help that they also thought they might get in trouble. The elders themselves knew very little of the awkwardness, but they would see something tension between the two, but it was hard to as they only watched and supervised their training. During other times they kept away not wan
Chapter 1: A Third SurvivorIt was the middle of the night. The moon as high as it would go on this peaceful night. The only sounds that could be heard were the nightly animals moving about, the cool summer breeze blowing though the trees, and Terador walking slowly. He would always be out around this time since there was always minimal movment, and little to disturb his research of any new herbs that may grow during this time of peace. As he carefuly walked he came onto a clearing where two ape comanders stood checking the area. He layed down out of their sights and carefuly moved so they were in his sights.Chapter 1: A Third Survivor5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Area cleared. No dragons or any suspicious movement at all in this region." One of them spoke turning around to face the other.
"Hey do you have any idea why Malefor has us doing these inspecions almost every night? It wasn't intill some time in the last couple days he had all of us start doing this." The other shook his head.
"No idea. The only one would be Posion Tooth since he is always with Male
Chapter 6: A New DiscoveryIt was early in the morning as Aaron awoke to the call of the Elders. He lifted his head and looked out onto the balcony to see Ignitus and Cyrll both standing there waiting for him. He quickly jumped out of the bed and ran over to them before leaping onto Ignitus' back. Once he was settled and ready to go, they took off to the east.Chapter 6: A New Discovery5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
As they flew over the land Aaron couldn't help but look down amazed upon the scenery which displayed in front of his view. All the fields filled with new colorful flowers or herbs. The sun shinning on the right stuff to send a rainbow of reflections at him and the flying dragons, but what amazed him the most was the view of the ocean he could see at that height. He could see the ocean before but not too well but now as he is lifted higher then the balcony's lever and more out towards the ocean; the view was magnificent. The waves crashing against the beach sending rays of reflections at him, all beautiful, but they flew right overt it and continued out tow
Chapter 11: The Lesson BeginsIt was early in the morning as Aaron awoke. His mind waking him early to train, but today he remembered he was going to teach Spyro and Cynder, and he knew if anytime now was the best. He stood up and walked towards the balcony, the sun's warm rays washing over him. He stood there for a few seconds before he left towards the training room.Chapter 11: The Lesson Begins5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
In Spyro and Cynder's room they were sound asleep. Cynder's head was atop Spyro's chest as they slept. The only thing that could be heard was their soft breathing. As they laid there, the bed began to shake and rock. At first it was soft, but like an alarm it began to become harder and harder in till the bed had became a miniature earthquake. They screamed as they were shook, but once the sleep was shaken out of them the bed began to slowly stop."What in the world?!" Cynder yelled as she stepped off the bed.
"I don't know but..." He stopped as a voice could be heard.
"Time to train, be quiet and meet me in the training room." The voice said and they

The purple dragon had always taken the burden of leading a new-world as best as he could, but never the less it was an extremely large task for a dragon his age. There were too many responsibilities; too many things to be taken into thought. A dragon of his age could make many mistakes under such great pressure; and these were unacceptable from the one taking such a role.
"I was so irrespirable, Cyn," the purple dragon vented his emotions with the ever-kind dragoness. She looked at him with eyes of sympathy; a small sign of worry for the male upon her entire visage. As Spyro gave the dragoness a look of defeat, she inclined her neck to the side and welcomed him to sit at her side.
"Here," Cynder cooed in a sweet tone. The purple dragon moved to her left side, and then lied upon the small pile of hay with the female. As Spyro exhaled out in melancholy, the black dragoness could tell that the glimmer the dragon always held on his eyes had vanished. I
Chapter 7: The SilenceIt began like a normal morning for our heroes, well except for Spyro and Cynder. Since that incident yesterday of them almost kissing, they seemed really shy around each other that morning. Maybe it would be better if I go ahead and tell you what in all happened this morning. Aaron awoke to the rays of the sun hitting his face. He stretched him arms out before sitting up to stretch some more but something caught his attention. He looked over to see Spyro waking up at the same time he was.Chapter 7: The Silence5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Oh, good morning Spyro." Spyro looked up at him.
"Good morning. You get a nice rest?" Aaron looked around for Cynder but nodded.
"Yeah, but how come you're in here? I know it's your room, but I thought you went into Cynder's room to try and talk to her." Spyro looked away and towards the balcony to see the rising sun.
"I was but, something felt wrong so I can in here to find you sleeping in my bed." Spyro looked back with a grin while Aaron rubbed the back of his head.
"Sorry but when I came in here
Chapter 9: The Battle Cont.Aaron laughed as he saw the fear in Spyro and Cynder's eyes, that sight was just a beautiful picture to him. "It seems you do remember me now." Aaron said in Malefor's voice.Chapter 9: The Battle Cont.5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"How are you controlling his body Malefor?" Cynder asked with much fear in her voice.
"Ah Cynder, my former prized apprentice. Out of all people, you should know how I am controlling him." Aaron replied back, and his answer only brought more fear into Cynder. "And now the same way I am controlling him, will be the same for you." He said as he raised his hand. Cynder looked away as she felt darkness swirl around her, but to her and Malefor's surprised the darkness disappeared.
"How is this possible, you should still be influenced by the darkness?" Aaron asked.
"She let in the light Malefor; she is no longer your puppet!" Spyro yelled catching Aaron's attention.
"Oh, is that so and I shall guess she is yours. She will always be mine; I just have to influence her again like I did years ago." Aaron started to chuckle
Chapter 3: A new arrivalIt was the beginning of the day as the sun slowly raised, spreading its morning light over the beautiful land. Only one answered to this call of a new day and it was our purple hero, Spyro. He turned his head towards the sun and opened his eyes to see the new day. He smiled as he felt the warmth of the sun hit his face. He turned his head; eyes closed, and tried to stretch when he felt something between his arms. He opened his eyes to see a sound asleep Cynder wrapped happily in his arms. He smiled as the sounds of her peaceful breathing reached his ears.Chapter 3: A new arrival5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Wow," He thought to himself, "She is so beautiful...Wait! What am I doing? She's my friend I shouldn't be doing this." He carefully slid his arms free from her sleeping form and quietly jumped off the bed. He walked over to the balcony where he would jump off to get some breakfast, but before he could he heard the sound of Cynder's yawn followed by her voice.
"Good morning Spyro." He turned with a smile on his face.

I know that we haven't known each other very long, but I feel like this amount of time together has taught me more than my mind can possibly hold. I can't hold it back any longer. I have to tell you how I feel about you.
Everytime that I look into your eyes, I almost lose myself. I always see the kind, generous hero that rescued me in a time of need. Whenever I needed you the most, you were there for me. I would stay with you until the world ended, and afterwards, forever and a day. I need you to be at my side.
I've never felt this way before. I guess it

She was trapped to the floor watching as Spyro fought against Malefor, and every few times a silver blur would flash by hitting Malefor as well. Yet Malefor would always hit them harder then they would hit him. After a round of combo hits, both Spyro and the mysterious character came crashing down, hitting the ground hard. Malefor trapped them under using a hand of darkness, turned to Spyro and the other dragon, and chuckled.
"So, all that is left to do is to kill you two." He turned to Cynder "And I know just the person to do that job for me." He raised his hand and pointed at Cynder. The grip which trapped her to ground disappeared and she slowly started growing larger. As she grew her scales turned blacker, her body stronger, horns longer and more menacing looking. She looked at herself and smiled walking closer t
Chapter 4: A New AllyIt was the break of Dawn as the sun showered its light upon Aaron. He didn't get an ounce of sleep as his mind wouldn't stop thinking. He kept backtracking in his mind of the recent events, trying desperately to remember more of what had happened on the day before, but he kept drawing up the same answer; nothing. So with nothing coming to mind he sat there in his sleeping bag watching as the sun slowly rose above the horizon, showing him the beauty of the land. He started to relax his mind and let his imagination wonder at the scene displayed in front of him. He was in a new place, a place no human has ever been to corrupt it with war, violence, nothing but peace as he looked at to the sunset. He started to wonder, if there were dragons there; what else would there be? He kept going deeper and deeper into thought in till the sound of talons scratching along the stone ground broke him out of thought. He turned his head to see Spyro walking out to look out to the new day. Spyro stretchedChapter 4: A New Ally5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

The cool shade of the lustrous tree was both easing and soothing to the female dragon, and the fact that she could share this time with Spyro only made the moment better. It was all too cute to see silly, brave Spyro like this, Cynder thought. Could the male dragon be anymore clumsy?
There he was, the grand prophecy's chosen dragon, as he hung from a tree rambled in a mess of torn twigs and broken branches. The pollen that had come down on him in a powerful shower gave him a dusty yellow look. He sneezed with strength, and then sighed from deep embarrassment.
If only he did not try to show off so much
It was his entire fault of course. Cynder had just walked into the large temple gardens as the 'boys' had gotten a bit rowdy. It was in this moment, what the dragoness came in, that Sparx dared to challenge his abilities in flying; and everyone knew, that despite his many denies, that he was not the greatest of aviators.
"I bet you can't even fly around the trees without getting yourself stuck, fat boy." Spyro glared at his small step-brother. "Seriously, have a salad or

All Spyro needed to feel full of joy was that Cynder's sweet smile; and it really wasn't too hard to make it appear. The first signs of spring and a soft breeze were just enough to cause her to grin softly in peace and serenity; but to bring a greater smile, more was needed. Spyro did not have to worry about this, though: His soft words, his jokes, and the way he laughed in a goffy manner were enough to cause her to glitter like gold from her smile.
And a sweet kiss... oh, a sweet kiss would be just the right thing to make her glow like the sun itself. The soft blush on her cheeks, and her perfectly paired set of teeth were bliss themselves. From the first day he first met and forever forth the purple dragon would pray every day that he could bring her that smile once again; for her smile was his as well.

The two dragons had been playing in the open plain for a while now. The beautiful and endless field covered in high-grass was the perfect place for playing, and for having fun. The sky was as clear and perfect as a polished silver plate; not a single cloud in sight.
It was then when the two dragons spotted the herd of wild Thumpers an aggressive creature of large size, with a bulky furred torso and the head of a rabbit. Spyro and Cynder noticed that the creatures came to a full stop as they started to graze about in a drop in the plains. This small levelling in the fields was but a few yards from the dragons.
"Wow," Cynder spoke in a bewildered tone as she and Spyro looked at each other. "I would have never imagined myself so close to a wild herd of these creatures." Spyro looked to the Thumpers, talking

Shadow- Even in the darkest of shadows, and when it seemed that evil had prevailed over good, Spyro would not give in. He knew that he had to fight on and triumph; at least in the name of his mate, Cynder.
Light- The bright rays of the morning sun crept into the depth of the male dragon's room. Spyro squinted as the light touched his delicate face. Slowly he covered himself by tucking his muzzle into Cynder's warm and welcoming neck.
Ice- The cold winter brought many things to the two dragons, including Cynder's despair. The female had nothing against the season itself, but the cold and freezing ice it brought haunted her. The dragoness was not as much of a fanatic of 'ice sliding' as Spyro was.
Lightning- Young Cynder tucked her head deep into the blanket which she and the dragon shared. Spyro placed his small tail on her back.
"Don't worry, Cyn," the male remarked. "It's only lightning."

"Any luck with the Vision Pool?" Nightshade asked as he wandered into the Guardians' sleeping room. Ignitus just heaved a long sigh.
"Again, a rather futile effort. It's all foggy and keeps showing Tephra when I try to force it to reveal the Earth avatar. Again though, I can't say for sure if she's the one."
"I know. Forcing for the Fire elemental just showed Ember." The shadow dragon slumped down next to the older fire dragon. "I keep getting the feeling though that Tephra will be pivotal to all this."
"And I get the feeling that despite all our efforts, we're being expertly played...though in what way, I have no clue." Ignitus shook his head. "How are the hatchlings?"

Cynder sat atop the stone spire, watching the tan sky as the sun rose over the huge spires of Tall Plains in the distance. "Terrador said Tall Plains rests on pillars of ancient magma veins...hence the fertile soil, and because Concurrent Skies floats over it in its orbit, there's plenty of rainfall for crops..." She shook her head and furled her wings closer as the wind whipped around her. Glancing down, she saw Spyro below her on the small shelf they'd slept on, still snoozing soundly. "We need to move but...he needs the sleep..." Looking out over the horizon again, she felt increasingly saddened, the sun a pale disk amid a brown sky. She suddenly felt like crying...how had things come to this? All her dreams of living a peaceful life...were her dreams just that and nothing more? What was going to happen?
A tear rolled down her cheek and fell, the wind whipping it right onto Spyro's nose. He

Caelos silently sighed as he stared forlornly at the mountain range ahead of himself. When he'd heard that the group had split apart, a heavy darkness had hit him. Ember hid herself in the library after the group had split up. They'd completely forgotten their job to safeguard her, but as she mulled over the argument, she really couldn't blame them. She'd started the whole thing anyway with her daydreaming, it didn't surprise her that the other girls probably didn't want anything to do with her now. Spyro had gone off in search of a lead on what that shadow dragon had told him, leaving her once again. In the library she felt safer from its threat.
"Oh Spyro..." she sighed sadly. "Who is it you truly want...?" She closed her book, unable to focus on it. She felt so empty, and strangely remorseful, but she couldn't figure out why. She felt pangs of guilt repeatedly but why? Glancing around the reading room at some of the others taking refuge in the library she skulked off to find some place to be alone.

Gritting his teeth he limped closer and spread his wings, stepping through the portal and flying through the strange connecting line. Landing in the temple brought an unusual stillness. The temple felt unnaturally empty. "I need to avoid dad for now," he whispered to himself, looking around. He didn't feel anything out of the ordinary...in fact he felt nothing at all. Neves gazed at the bone pendant in his paw, his mind whirling behind those ice-blue eyes filled with sadness and anxiety. Where was Shimmer? No one in The Settlement had seen her since that night the group had split up, and no help had been had in Warfang either. He sat in the wilting Avalar gardens, mulling things over. Where could she have gone? The thought had crossed his mind many times that she might have...offed herself... but the logical part of his mind knew she was too smart to consider that an option. Where would she have gone though?
A gold glow nearby caught his attention, Sparx buzzing past in pursuit of a small insect. The dragonfly gave up though and doubled back, alighting on Neves' muzzle and pulsing gently. Neves' nose scrunched; the bug took the hint and darted up to safety atop the ice dragon's long crest-scale before he could sneeze. "We've really gotta get you to Spyro..." Neve mumbled, shaking his head and gazing at
Spyro: "This night"It was this night, Spyro thought cheerfully, this night that he would see her alone. The male dragon had been waiting for this since ages, but had discovered that having this was difficult. The world was under his hands now. He had a world to rebuild, and this gave him a very hard time when it came to his love life. Spyro seldom had times to speak with Cynder by himself, and any times he did he was quickly interrupted.
'Go to the Council meeting' one would say. "You're late!' the other would remind him. Each and every time this happened, he had to leave the dragoness; opened mouthed, and craving the slightest sign of care.
This would change, though. It would change today, the male dragon thought.
Spyro had long since made the preparations for meeting with the she-dragon he loved. He had made clear orders to those in the dragon order not to interrupt him tonight; and the guardians listen
