As I am left to douse the candles and close the door.
Drawing the shades to complete the darkness,
Drawing the shades; shadows have never seemed so empty.
Everything that she has taken from me...
There was so much left to say,
And by the chill that she left with me,
I feel I should be able to see my breath.
Rose petals wither on the floor
As I am left to douse the candles and close the door.
Drawing the shades
To complete the darkness
Of what was once so sweet,
there is nothing left but a memory
As the smoke fills the room,
a murky suspension blurs the dim light
Golden stars of dust, suspended,
Shining for the days that once were
Longing, yearning, reminiscing
You, my only source of light in this darkness
Rose petals wither on the floor
As I am left to douse the candles and close the door.
Drawing the shades...
For what lies beyond the pane?
I remember when we had everything
Back when you could tell me anything
Never have I felt such worthlessness

Although all the members of Calypso’s crew had visited a number of different systems, the sight of the Andorian homeworld with its mother planet as a backdrop behind it was a very impressive one. The primary world, Andor, was an enormous blue gas giant with a ring system that rivalled that of Saturn. Andor’s largest moon, Andoria, was an equally beautiful, blue and white globe.
“Entering standard orbit,” Garadun announced as the Class-P world grew very large on the viewscreen and then began to rotate beneath them.
“That’s a hell of a sight,” Jan Koor remarked. “My first time here.”
“For all of us, I believe,” said Nessa, and got nods of confirmation.
“She’s beautiful, that’s for sure,” Cera remarked admiringly from where she sat in the captain’s chair. She glanced at her cousin. “Would you ag

But in a moment, can be broken.
Lost for something better,
And left forgotten on the floor.
Like a brand new toy,
It grows less shiny with everyday.
Until its ragged,
Until it shines no more.
And soon begins to fade.
Something new catches your eye,
And you surely begin to smile.
But unlike night and day,
The Old never really fades away.
It lays within your shadow,
And its bruised heart starts to race.
As it only faintly realizes,
That you gave its love away.
To something better, something new.
Something tattered, something blue.
And finally it collapses, and slips from beneath your shadow,
So when the New becomes the Old, and you turn around.
All youll find is a simple sentiment, written in blood upon the ground
Youll realize Forever is not all that long;
All youll find is a faded I Loved You.

This abandoned house you found inside of you
Walls and foundations rot away
This storm will bring you down
This is the last chance to find out
To find that it's not too late to go back
To the last remains of who you were
The last chance to save yourself
Lift this weight upon your mind
Soon this searing pain
Will leave your body blind
Your time is running out
This pressure will become
Too much to bear
The last chance to find out
To find that it's not too late to go back
To the last remains of who you were
The last chance to save yourself!
Falling back with
Nothing left below you,
Nothing but the glow
Of the moon to slow you...
Last chance to find out
It's not too late to go back,
The last remains of who you were
The last chance to save yourself...

If an item on this list can be said about at least ONE of your deviations, add or subtract a point for yourself accordingly. If the item can be said about five or more of your deviations, give (or take away) five points.
At the end of the list, add up your points and see what you've won! (And here's a hint: lower scores are better…)

This means that the fan-fictions could qualify as deleted scenes, flashbacks, prologues, epilogues, or sequels that in no way alter the original plot as it was.

Someone knocked on the door.
Rukia slowly opened her eyes. The sun shone from the window above her head. Her body felt heavy and she was feeling dizzy, as if she had drunk too much the night before and now woke up from the alcohol mist.
"Kuchiki, open the door, are you so kind. I want to talk to you", Rukia could hear Ukitake's voice say from the other side of the bedroom door.
"One moment, Sir ..." Rukia said and felt how she panicked.
She looked down quickly. On her chest Ichigo was still heavy asleep. If Ukitake saw him laying there in her bed with her - both naked - he would tell Byakuya and the other captains that she had a relationship with a man from the real world faster than she could say "Shunpo".
They would not accept it, not at all.
"Ichigo, wake up! You have to disappear for a while." Whispered Rukia and shook Ichigo hard to get him to wake up.
"What? What happens, Rukia?" Ichigo lo

With Shilling in his pocket and Lilyglade flitting at his side, Garadun made his way past the green dragon's enormous corpse and over to the cave mouth. Shilling sniffed, made a face, and sank a little lower in his pocket. Garadun shared a look with Lilyglade, and then they crossed the threshold and began their descent into the depths of the earth, the soft light given off by Dûrgaläd guiding their way.
The cave floor was at first a mix of rock and hard-packed earth, but gave way to solid stone after not too long. The stench of chlorine was bad and got worse the deeper they went, mixed with other foul odours. The tunnel twisted as it went down, then eventually levelled out somewhat. They entered a large cavern, the floor of which was carpeted in bones from all manner of creatures – the remains of the dragon's meals. Down the centre the bones were crushed and broken into small bits, marking the beast's passage

Spitfire sat at her desk with her head buried in her fore hooves as she let out a long frustrated sigh. It was her first real day back on the job since the battle with the Yellow Devil, or Shadow, as she had come to find out his real name. She glanced over at her left only to see a large stack of Wonderbolt posters with her face plastered across them sitting in a tray labeled 'inbox,' an empty tray to her right labeled 'outbox,' and an ink stamp lying in between them. She knew that it was an important part of her job and autographed the posters, especially since, in light of their actions in the war, it generated a good deal of revenue, but her heart just was not into it today. Her mind was pre-occupied with other, more maddening thoughts. With an annoyed groan she set about the task; the sooner she got it done, the sooner she could go for a gallop, or go flying, or…well, anything that didn’t involve her sitting behind a desk.
Spitfire grabbed the first poster. She pressed

"A local unicorn, Lyra Heartstrings," reported Twilight, Spike on her back going over the checklist. "She likes to walk like a human anyway " she said, finding the green mare's interest in a mythological species rather strange, but understood how interesting such things could be.
"That's a surprise," said Twilight, giving a rather sly smirk.
"Alright " said Trixie, trusting her, but wondering just what her friends had managed, considering how well connected they were. "Backdrops?"
"Finished!" chimed in Rarity, concentrating and using a spell to create a rather impressive backdrop of a beautiful valley.

"You mean her dream infiltration spell?" asked Helping Hoof, looking to the Diamond Dog.

Helping Hoof sighed, looking rather sad. "Well I don't know where she learned the spell itself, but I do know where she learned half of her method. She learned to control dreams from her grandmother, Helena Midsummer, just like Trixie has."
"Why?" asked Spot, scratching his head.
"Helena's trick is meant to let one control their own dreams, not the dreams of others," explained Helping Hoof. "She taught Checker for the same reason she taught Trixie; to deal with nightmares."
Rover blinked. "Scary pony have nightmares?"
Helping Hoof gave a sad chuckle.

"Show him your appreciation?!" She growled. "Let me guess, you've been showing him your appreciation ever since you boarded this ship!"
"No, no you got it all wrong, I promise there is nothing going on," Soarin' stammered out stepping in between the two mares.
"Oh really?" Spitfire said staring him down, despite him being taller than her. "If there is nothing going on then why did Star Chaser and the other Wonderbolts get kicked out of the office when you called her in to see you huh?! Were you looking for a little appreciation then too?"

Twilight Sparkle ran through the stone hallways under the Marjave Citadel. Levitating in front of her, in her magical grip, was a large obsidian stone in the shape of a cylinder. It was jet black and almost featureless, save for the gold accents at either end, each featuring a single amethyst gemstone set within.
The unicorn emerged in a small room, dominated by a spiral staircase spinning upward. She quickly ran up the stairs. At her rapid pace, she arrived at the top in no time at all, and leaped through the broken frame of the formerly hidden doorway.
The shining blue hallways glowed as Twilight galloped through. She passed paintings, doors and delicate vases, and she knew the hordes had not gotten this far. They still had time.
Reaching a pair of double doors at the end of a hallway, she burst through, arriving in the main atrium.
Sitting at the centre of the room, seven stone pedestals were arranged in a circular formation. Three of the pe

Hooves ground into the dirt, tails flipped back and forth anxiously, the crowds around the starting line cheered as their friends and family members of the inhabitants of the small town of Ponyville took their positions on the starting line. With the Wonderbolt cadets partaking in the race there were considerably more racers than normal but Spitfire accommodated by placing her recruits in formation behind the regular entries, much to the chagrin of Lighting Dust and Fleetfoot.
As the racers all made final stretches and readied themselves, a grey earth pony in a black and white striped shirt with a whistle made his way to side of the of the starting line and addressed everyone.

This particular pony has just bought a house in Ponyville, as she knows that this is the place to go when you live in equestria if you want a fun, humble environment. Her new home is ironically near to sweet apple acres, a farm owned by simple ponies.

Arcana of Equestria Chapter 2: A Storm of DarknessAs the sun began to crest over the mountains in the east, Spike tried to compose himself after the events of the previous night. For reasons he could not even begin to understand, somepony had broken into the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters, deep within the Everfree Forest no less. Whoever it was had power enough to put nearly an entire village to sleep at once. They were very magically adept, able to change forms and move almost silently. They seemed to have personal knowledge of the castle and the construction and supposed contents within. It did not take Spike long to realize who the most likely culprits of this caper was, it had to have been one of princesses of Equestria. “But why would any princess be stalking around the ancient castle and worrying about missing objects?” Spike thought. “Do they not have important duties to take care of in Canterlot? “I will,” she promised, “I know he’d be interested and he’d make awesome Bronco,” Cloud Chaser added confidently before scooping the folder gingerly in her mouth and sliding it into her saddle bag. “I know I can’t think of a better stallion for the job.”

We didn't catch anything all day, only found a rotten deer that we couldn't salvage. It was getting dark and our feet hurt so we finally set up camp near a small river. We didn't have anything to eat, our supplies were over from the day before, but we felt good enough from the walk and the air was fresh and moist and filled with the smell of the forest after the rain and some gorgeous flower to which I forgot the name.
We just sat down by the fire, among fireflies and crickets. We felt happy and laughed at our grumbling bellies.
The sky was clear and my grandfather showed me the constellations one by one. He knew ancient stories that described them all. A few butterflies came round the fire and for some reason this made him stop. He was quiet for some time and then said one thing:
"Life is a feast..."
Then looked at me and smiled in a weird way.
It scared me a bit. We didn't say much after that, just

The great city of Anscestors lies,

Then, a rumbling at her heart,
Her blue hearth opens and from it,

So primitive, she moans....
Are they to save her?

Sounds appear upon the air,
They speak to her, and to one another.
