She walked alone through the tall, wrought-iron gates as she had so many times before and into the lush, green reserve that bore the name Shepard's Park. The trees had grown so tall since the first time she came here. Back then they were just hastily planted saplings that only came up to her waist. Now they towered over her and shaded the people in the park from the hot afternoon sun. A light breeze stirred from the east and blew pleasantly in and around the trees rustling the leaves and branches. Liara couldn't help but smile as the cool breeze caressed her skin as she strolled towards the center of the sprawling park to the only building, the only construct on the three hundred acre lot.
Here and there people enjoyed the beautiful weather playing games, walking among the trees or having picnics as chirping birds looked down from the branches and dogs frolicked in the grass. Many took notice of her, bein
Mass Effect 3: Alternate EndingsDuring the final battle, Harbinger learns that Shepard and Hammer are heading for the Citadel beam. He orders another Reaper, Widowmaker, to stop Shepard while Harbinger and the Reaper fleet try and stop the Victory fleet from getting the Crucible into place. Widowmaker arrives on Earth and frantically fires lasers at Shepard's convoy to try and stop the Commander. Shepard and Anderson barely make it to the beam. Shepard and Anderson confront the Illusive Man, and either kill him or convince him to commit suicide. A small tug at his leg snaps him back to reality. Looking down, he spies little Syren looking up at him hesitantly, a teddy bear clutched tightly in one arm. A warm smile spreads across his face.
"Something I can do for you, Little Bit?"
Syren blushes furiously and looks down at her feet. Wrex chuckles to himself. (She is so unlike her father) "It's alright, I don't bite."
Syren looks back up at the old warrior and quietly asks, "Charge?" Wrex throws back his head and roars with laughter. "Spoken like a true Shepard." With one fluid motion he reaches down and scoops her up and onto his shoulders.
"Alright young one, I want you to hold on tight. Here WE GO!!!! RAARRRRR!!!!"
Kaycee stands quietly on the porch with Liara's head on her shoulder. They watch silently as Wrex thunders past with their youngest yelling "KROGAN!!!!"

Suicide LetterSuicide Letter5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
If you have to put a lot of thought into your suicide letter, then you aren't ready to die. By the time you pick up the blade or that bottle of pills, crank the car or tie the knot in the rope, step into the street or over the edge -- you know exactly what you'd want to say or what you'd wished you'd said. If you have to sit and think about who you love the most and what you want them to know then you're not ready to die.
At least, not a fulfilling death.
Unfinished business is the worst kind. And it makes people suffer more. All the unspoken words are harder to hear from beyond the veil, especially when the words come as whispers creeping across the pillow in our dreams at night. Love isn't as strong or comforting when you have no way to give it to that person.
If anything, the others are selfish for making you stay. They won't understand the rush you experience with ending it all. How it feels to drag that blade across your skin and watch the little red rubies seep out, what it's lik

no, how do you see better?
it seems you're just blind...
or am I the one that made up her own reality?
(I wish I could throw you up,
just like I throw up words,
or just like I throw up my food
but you're pretty buried in my heart
and you can't purge a heart,
I always said I didn't want to forget you.
but you're leaving me no choice
and still I can't seem to let you go...
( I still don't want to)
I always loved the silence of when we lied on the grass,
because you used to fill it with your warmth
you were like your own star
but now is like I'm freezing
and I can't find the star that you used to be.
Baby you took my heart
you know it's with you
how can you forget?
that's the reason it's broken.
(leaving my heart on a basket full
of dust isn't what I really wanted)
I'm tired of hearts getting broken
can't smiles be broken too?

Liara's Story Chapter 1
This is fanfic, I own nothing, and know nothing. Characters in the story belong to Bioware and all that legal stuff. Though I am a big fan of all things Tali, Liara got stuck in my mind for a while. I couldn't help but think of what made a 106 year old tick, and be so naïve about some things. The answers, for me at least, was having a sheltered childhood, diving into academia to earn a doctorate (probably not easy for a race that lives that long) and burying herself in her work. Unknowingly seeking to avoid putting herself out there and not get hurt. This story that rolled around my head for two weeks until I had to write it, talks of this and eventually why she reacts the way she did when encountering Shepard on Illium later. It's weird how the story of a game can get so into your head, aint it? Get out of my head, dude!

To know who you think about when you day dream,
To know who truly owns that smile of yours,

The F-58A Hammer is an 6th+ generation ultra-long range, hypersonic heavy fighter designed for air dominance and rapid strike missions. Its design is based off of the proven F-33A Rapier II hypersonic multirole fighter, and thus shares much of its technology. In addition to the proven technology inherited from its predecessor, the aircraft also brings new technologies to the fighter world. The most notable of these technologies include SynVision, which is a form of synthetic vision designed for this, and other higher performance aircraft. It allows unparalleled situational awareness when compared to convention cockpit designs along with reducing RCS and aerodynamic drag. In addition to SynVision, F-58 also uses a more advanced variant of EO-DAS designed just for this aircraft.
Other advanced technologies include DAESA (Distributed Actively Electronically scanned Array), which places multiple AESA panels in various places around the aircraft to provide 360˚ ra

MASS EFFECT 3 ALTERNATE ENDING *SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*
**EDIT** Holy crap this got way more attention than I was expecting. The comments and support have been amazing everyone!
A few points: Credit where credit is due; this ending, as much as everyone seems to love it, was only created because the amazing team at Bioware created a universe that was so rich and full of life and detail. As much as I know a lot of fans are hurt by what they did, we need to remember that Bioware still created an incredible trilogy, one of the best ever. So hats off to them all round.
Also, this was written really fast and so the ending (specifically the last part on how you actually win using TIM's signal) isn't very fleshed out. I know there are holes, and they can actually be fixed quite easily. This isn't perfect. Also, this doesn't deal with a 'happy' ending. If there were to be one, or you were to even CONSIDER taking the fourth option, you'd need to be damn ready. I'm talking ALL war assets e

Every clone knows it.

The Jedi we love,
We'll take their lives away.
Can't be helped.
We cry inside.
But we are mere robots
Of flesh design.
We obey the Sith Lord,
Against our will.
Hands cut off and tied,
While we'll take blood.
I'll one day kill my leader.
My Obi-Wan Kenobi.
I just pray it's not today.
Because if it is,
I'll pray he'll forgive me,
Plead innocence though bloody guilty.
Then I'll pray that somebody kills me.

Commander Shepard looked out the window of the apartment at the Armax Arsenal Combat Arena just across the strip, although not really seeing it. While his eyes scoped the holographic lettering of the building, his mind was combing the bulge of the right pocket of his favorite jacket: an N7-themed black cotton hooded jacket that harkened back to 20th and 21st century fashion. Reaching his callused hand into the pocket, he pulled out what it so contained: a black velvet case that contained one of the most special purchases he hoped he would ever make.
As his fingers unconsciously stroked the soft velvet, Shepard thought about the man the contained was intended for. He had known the man for a few years now, but only recently did he realize he had deep feelings for him. A few weeks ago, Shepard got to sit down with him at Apollo Café on the Presidium so they could relax and talk over lunch and drinks. Before they gave themselves the chance to order, his love said something that made
