Under a veil of secrecy they meet
Enslaved by outdated customs
So aware of every sound fearing discovery.
Forbidden kisses the thought of them still lingers
The touch of a lovers hand, their lips so close
Both just awaiting their next rendezvous.
Secret lovers concealing their emotions
Until the time of clandestine encounters
When they can free all concealed desires
Those moments together seem an eternity
So pleasant the feeling of a lovers touch
A magical feeling when nothing else matters
Beneath their tree of secluded passions
They indulge all those cravings
The unproved love they share
Secret lovers concealing their emotions
Until the time of forthright encounters
When they can free all concealed desires

where the hero could save the day.
Everyone was beautiful to someone,
in a different kind of way.
Families were always loving and close,
no one was sad for so long.
But now when I read these fairy tales,
I smile because they are so wrong.
I used to wish for happily ever after,
and that my prince would love me always.
The villains would be vanquished forever,
so that we could be peaceful nights and days.
Good fortune would fall upon us both,
and into the sunset we'll drive.
Now I wish for decent days at a time,
and am happy every time I stay alive
I believe in the world I see today,
because in any moment I might give in.
I believe not everyone can be beautiful,
because no one loves their own skin.
I believe families are full of jagged edges,
because my own cuts people all the time.
I want to believe in fairy tales again,
does it seem like such a crime?
I wish for my world to simply be normal,
because then I could at least be content.
I wish that my demo

What is Sexy!
A small round tattoo
on the ball of your back
peeking out of your jeans
Sexy is your brown eyes
In the afternoon sunshine.
Sexy is ripe red strawberries
Between your lips.
Sexy is the curve of your thigh
The shape of your waist
The contour of your breast
Sexy is the way you smell
Jasmine, lilac and lavender.
The sweetest thing
In a summer breeze
Sexy is watching you
Sit in a chair
the way you do.
The way you cross your legs
The way you lean in your chair
The way your hair
rest on your shoulders.
The touch of your skin
The feel of your kisses.
But the best thing
Is holding you close.
To my heart and soul
And that…is sexy.

"Euphoria." That's how she described it later. Said it was like it wasn't real, but she knew it was. Not drugs or anything like that, she got past that a year ago. She says it was something bigger, more meaningful at least.
"Do it again," she whispered.
"You know I can't, I regret it already..."
Crawling around me, teasing me like she always did, "Why not?"
"Because... just... because."
Nothing else was said, she just kissed the back of my neck like usual. She always went for that one spot that makes my whole body seem to scream, and yet it was always so soothing. All I could do was sit there, I knew she would get tired of teasing me soon, and then maybe I had a chance. I always messed it up though.
She seemed to slither in front of me, and got close enough to my lips that I could feel her breathing. She always did that, and it always worked.
"Stop..." I said, "I can't take any more, not now."
In that seductive voice she loved to use- "Aww, but why not?"

There was no certainty in his voice when he told her to leave. It was as if the words had spilled from his mouth on their own accord, he had not given them such permission to hurt her as they did. Hawke's lips turned into a deep frown, the edge of her soft mouth yanked back in a gentle growl.
"Fine." She spat, turned on her heel and marched out of the clinic.
Anders stood rooted to his spot for a few moments, staring angrily after her as she disappeared down the steps of his Darktown clinic. When she had completely evaporated from his sight, he threw up his hands and began pacing in a manic rage. "Fine? FINE?! Everything I've done for that blighted-- and she responds with 'fine'?!" He gave a roar that would've put Fenris's battle cries to shame as he slammed his fist into a nearby wall. The soft dirt crumbled under his violent impact. "Doesn't she know the dangers? The risk she's taking? The-- the..." Anders dragged a hand over his face as a small

For a moment in time, there are no threats to the galaxy. No rogue spectres, no collectors, no batarian space stations, no geth revolutionaries. Just him and her and the soft humming of the ship. It's unnerving for all the wrong reasons, but the lack of imminent death or dismemberment saps his will to respond.
And yet, they're out there. The comm blinks green with a message from the Alliance Military that they've both been ignoring for the past 23.8 hours. Reapers still loom in the distance. Loss still weighs heavy in their hearts.
There's always something out there. Something trying to tear them apart. Always something more trying to destroy them.
But for now, space drifts past the cabin window silently. The fish tank buzzes. The space hamster squeaks his wheel. Shepard snores lazily and shifts against him.

With each their cry --

in her body is screaming, 'no, no - you'll fall apart that way!'
and when she gets up to take her shower, she's so very
afraid that the water is going to run straight through her.
when she gets out, each time she dresses a little more slutty,
hoping that maybe one of these days someone will notice her.
as she prepares for each deadly day,
she brushes her teeth with cyanide and flosses with razorblades.
she's decided that it's the perfect way to chip away all the parts
about herself that she doesn't like.
[[which sadly, i must tell you, is all of her]]
each day she plays hopscotch across the main street.
every time she hears the angrily honked horns she
sighs relief at the fact she's still seen.
she leaves post-its all over her school,
each and every one whispers 'you are beautiful.'
she hopes that someone will get the message,
because lord knows she hasn't.

I'm sorry your life is terrible.
I'm sorry I told you the truth instead of lying to your face.
I'm sorry you can't seem to see my good side.
I'm sorry I can't be perfect.
I'm sorry I couldn't lie to your face.
I'm sorry you had to cheat.
I'm sorry you always blamed me.

GoodbyeGetting over you has been such a challenge,Goodbye10 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
It has taken all that was left of me.
I worked so hard to forget your face,
So that one day I could be free.
It's obvious now that I was just used,
I hate the power you knew you had.
I did things then that I regret now,
And I hate you for not feeling bad.
You don't deserve to know what you did to me,
And how you made me feel.
Cause letting you know would just be opening the wounds,
That have taken so long to heal.
After this, I am done with you,
Your face won't haunt my dreams.
I will find someone to mend my heart,
And not rip it at the seams.
I will leave you now with your guilty conscience,
Consider this your final goodbye.
Thinking of you, I will find a way to smile,
But you'll never make me cry.

When she got to the clinic he was busy - as usual. There were groans and coughs from the many patients littered on the rough cots scattered around and Anders was talking earnestly with a haggard young woman who was holding a boy in her arms. The boy was shaking; she could hear muffled sobs and even from the door she could see his arm, hanging limp away from his body, had been very badly burnt.
"Bring him over here," Anders said in his soft voice. He hadn't noticed Saoirse enter and she scanned the room quickly, looking to see if there were any cases she could deal with. When she couldn't find anyone who was in immediate need of her help she turned back to Anders, who had managed to get the boy to sit up on one of the taller wooden benches.
"And how old are you, Serah?" Anders said.
"Mam says I've got ten summers, Messere Anders," he said, hiccuping a few times as he tried to repress the tears that filled his eyes and threatened to spill.
"Really? I would have thought you were at least

Something old was playing on the sound system. Something really old. Kaidan looked up from his drink and over to the stage where the musicians played. The front woman was blonde and hugged the microphone, pressing it to her lips like the romance would make all the difference. She had a low voice that slanted sweetly in all of the right places. He turned completely in his seat to give his full attention to the stage.
Ain't it good to know that you've got a friend, when people can be so cold
Her eyes met Kaidan's and she smiled as she moved in time with the piano and the guitar.

The captain's quarters are far off from the engineering deck, but I can still hear the hum of the engines if I shut the music off and listen to the quiet. Most nights, it's enough to get me to sleep.
I'll lay back and watch the stars crawl by through the skylight, or watch the fish flit around in their tanks. Slowly, it becomes harder and harder to keep my eyes open. I'll roll over so the glow of the fish tank doesn't penetrate the darkness behind my closed eyes as I drift off to sleep.
The darkness is overwhelming. If I squint really, really hard I can just barely make out the pinpricks of distant stars. But it's so hard to keep my eyes open. I'm cold. Freezing cold, so cold I feel like my bones will implode and my skin will tear as it shrivels and tightens and I open my mouth to scream.
I can't. I open my mouth, try to

"Ah, yes. Bring them over here." Tsunade motioned, shoving the empty sunadae glass into a drawer. Shizune nodded, and carefully made her way over to the desk. As Shizune placed the papers down in front of her, Tsunade took notice of something. A tiny smile graced the blonde's lips. 'Oh my...what do we have here?'
There was a rather rotund bulge pushing against the confines of Shizune's outfit. Unable to help herself, Tsunade let out a snicker. Shizune raised her head.
"Hmm? What's so funny...?" Shizune asked, seemingly oblivious. Tsunade gave Shizune a quick look-over; indeed, the balck-haired woman's face had grown more cherubic, her hips were a bit wider, and her breasts had also gone up at least an entire cup size. Tsunade snickered again.
"Oh, nothing," Tsuna
