Children's Story: The TeapotOnce upon a time, in a small town in the country, there was a little girl who was very lonely. She wasn't old enough to go to school, she didn't have any brothers or sisters, and there weren't any kids her age that lived near them. She spent her time trying to keep herself busy with whatever it was she could find to do in the house or in the yard. But she was always getting into trouble. If her mother told her not to go in the barn, she would go into the barn. If her mother told her not to swim in the pond, she would go swim in the pond. If her mother told her not to go outside and get all muddy, she would go outside and splash into the biggest mud puddle she could find. After a while, her mother got very frustrated with her. "Why don't you find some friends to play with?" the girl's mother said.
"But I don't have any friends, Mommy!" the little girl whined.
"Well why don't you make one up?" her mother suggested.
The little girl pouted, "I don't want a made up friend! I want a real one

With a poison filled barb
We call it depression and
We're ready to medicate
Pop the pills and the pain
Goes away, and you give in
Welcome another happy addict
Cut the skin from my bones
The disgusting sinner falls away
Digitally stimulated and disconnected
Cake the make up on the slut
Remove the tumor implanted within
Fuck the regret you feel, it isn't real
Let loose the anger cannon inside your heart
Explosive emotions fill up the emptiness
Drug me up and spit me out
Eat the sins of your maker
Devour the love you feel
Atone for your imperfection
With pain you will pay
Tear away life, piece by piece
Skeletal regret will never repent
Lick the plastic breast of falsity.
Worship the idol of 'perfection'.
Dance around the store-bought hero.
Celebrate the mundane creativity.
Give into the bland world they've ma

You stared at the river, wondering how in the world you could possibly hope to cross. Heracles stood next to you on the bank, watching the pair of unusual Germanics wading into the water. Gilbert strode in with all the arrogant confidence of a Roman centurion, while his father walked in behind him, keeping a wary eye on the Romans down-stream. They obviously knew how to swim, and you had to fight to keep from being angry that Gilbert could swim and you couldn’t. Of course, he was a boy and you were a woman so you weren’t supposed to be able to swim anyway, but you really wanted to hang on to the little pride you had left. Sadly, you could already feel it slipping away.
Suddenly you noticed Heracles was as unmoving as you were. You prayed he could swim.
“You can swim, can’t you?” you asked, more than a little afraid the answer would not be what you wanted to hear.
“I can… a little. Another slave showed me once when I was sent to th

A song on my lips,
A smile on my face,
It's all your grace!
The way you love me,
The way you care,
Takes me away from myself,
Down a path, I didn't dare!
When you say ~ I love you,
The way you do,
My heart skips a beat,
As it goes through!
I smile without purpose,
I cry without reason,
I see beauty everywhere,
And spring in every season!
What has happened to me?
I don't seem to know,
But with each passing moment,
It seems to grow!
So, tell me this much,
Or give me a sign,
Promise that you will be

Are we meant to be?
Because being without you is killing me
I just want to be able to hold you and call you mine
Because right now Im starting to deny.
You plunged a dagger through my heart
You watched me bleed
You watched me die
You knew I couldnt survive without you dont lie
Thats why you plunged that dagger through my heart
To stop the pain from burning inside my heart

She opens her eyes and is met with the twinkling of the stars plastered onto her ceiling. The desert-orange paint on the walls seems to reflect the light streaming in through her curtains, illuminating the dim room and making her feel as if she is back in the desert. Strangely, that is where she had felt most comfortable. Surrounded by her element at all times, able to bend the world around her to her will, but more than far enough away from society to avoid the judgmental gaze of people.
She loved this room. She had never felt so accepted as she did the day that Raven brought her here. The day she was officially made a Titan. The day her mission to destroy them truly began... No... It was going to be a good morning. Her friends had forgiven her and had trusted her enough to let her back into the tower. She was happy. For the first time in months, she was truly happy. No need to ruin this great day with thoughts of the past.
"Terra?" A stern voice calls. "Robin..."

"Eh, come on! This is gonna be fun! When was the last time you got out and had a little fun?" said the taller man as he wrapped his arm around the other's arm.
"Get off of me, hmmm," Deidara demanded through his teeth.
"Come on cheer up," his escort said, still not letting go of Deidara's arm. "Loosen up a little; tonight's supposed to be fun! As S-ranked missing-nin, we don't exactly get invited to very many parties."
Deidara looked over only to stare at a pair of violet eyes, pushed down under furrowed brows, right above the trade-mark smirk that just made Hidan look like Hidan. Then after a long moment, Deidara jerked his arm away at last. "We weren't even invited to this one, hmmm."
"No, but I have a friend that was invited, so we'll just say we're with her," Hidan said, shaking it off. It was just getting dark and they were walking together alone on a path through the woods. It was ver

beautiful, I swear!
You are like punch at a high school dance (I want to spike you!)
You're like a skunk but I proudly go out wearing your scent.
You are the wind while I am at sea on a steam powered boat.
You are sunlight and I am wearing SPF 50.
You are the lifesaver under the one at the top of an open
roll that has been dwelling in a linty pocket.
You're like a remote control with the only 2 buttons I need
(channel and volume.)
You're like a troll guarding the bridge to my heart.
You are the brain freeze after gulping a cherry Icee.
You're like a hurricane tearing away the foundation
of my house.
Your love is silent but deadly, like a ninja,
not a fart.
You're England and I am the Norman invasion, baby.
You are a hot and humid day making my back
stick to the leather couch.
You're a Shakespearean sonnet written to appease
a grumpy old English professor.

I shouldn't care...I shouldn't care...7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Everytime I see you,
I wonder if you're okay.
I wonder if you think about me,
like I think about you everyday.
Whenever I see you cry,
I want to wipe the tears.
whenever I see you scared,
I want to stop your fears.
But, I shouldn't care,
cause you never did about me.
You never really understood,
I never could get you to see...
Even though I begged you
not to leave me here alone.
and when you did I built up a wall,
made of thick stone.
I told myself not to love you again,
yet I still care.
I told myself not to miss you,
and I still wish you were there.
I shouldn't give a shit,
I shouldn't care about you.
I shouldn't even think twice..
