1: The Edge
Julian Ivo Kintobor recounts the history of his people to a recently invented robot he's cobbled together between his grueling work as a breaker; salvaging pieces from the enemy Mobian war machines brought down into his bunker city. He relates briefly the Xorda invasion and the ongoing struggle with the Mobian enemy. Finally he recounts his own life, building a criminal network to see how people tick and reading up on famous dictators for inspiration. The Edge relates to the tipping point in his personality, from wanting to better his people to despairing of mankind and wanting power and control. It also relates to the edge of the table he slowly coaxes the robot to by degrees until it willing follows his orders and smashes to pieces on the floor.
2: The One Who Will Save Us
Julian's father justifies his brutal treatment of his son by comparing it to forging a weapon with heat an

Ext. The Earth – Day
In the vast black emptiness of this corner of the galaxy The Earth is an island of color and life. Blue and green mingle beneath roving banks of white clouds and the population centers of humanity glimmer like terrestrial stars.
Then there’s a brighter light; blinding.
Then another. And another.
The clouds light as if lightning storms the size of nations are brewing beneath.
A shadow falls across the planet and we see it.
An enormous red and black warship clearly of alien design descends from the void, viewports glowing with a sickly green-yellow light. Periodic blasts of energy leap from its base, ripping through the clouds and raining upon the world below.
Smaller ships swarm around it like insects defending their hive.
The ship is easily the size of Texas by itself. The smaller fighters are practically invisible as the scope expands to encompass its full, looming immensity. Even comparatively
STH Issue 230 Fan-Made StorySonic quickly dashed to the unconscious chipmunk, completely forgetting about Silver Sonic being on his tail. The blue hedgehog ran but for once, was not fast enough and the silver robot managed to grab him. He swung him up high into the air, brought his arm straight back down and pulverized Sonic into the ground. As Sonic was reminded of his battle, he sprang up and finally began trying to destroy it. No more fooling around for him. There was no time. Sally was hurt and he was never going to get a chance to help her if he didn't get rid of the android. Sonic curled into a ball and performed his famous Spin Dash, blasting straight at the silver twin. Silver Sonic was merely budged, but not damaged. Sonic landed back on his feet, panic taking control of his mind.STH Issue 230 Fan-Made Story3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He then got another idea, shaking off the fear for a quick second. He leaped into the air and landed on top of the silver robot. Without sight of the blue hedgehog, Silver Sonic tried shaking him off. But Sonic acted quickly, b

'There's Some Good Worth Fighting For''It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why.''There's Some Good Worth Fighting For'1 year ago in Personal More Like This

Ive been perusing anything and everything looking for my lost inspiration. At the moment for me real life is a massive hassle of kitten-sitting, job searching, isolation, disappointment, and general blah. But that's never mattered overly to me if I could pour myself on occasion into something worthwhile which for me has always been stories, to read, to write, to share.

Deep in the uttermost caves of the Earth where the rock walls are heated by the core's lava and creatures from eons past still survive, there lived a proud, noble, sturdy society or proud, noble, and sturdy people.
With little interest in the dealings of the Upper Worlds, the stout folk of the mines and tunnels and caverns collectively known as Agartha toiled away at expanding their subterranean empires, searching out gems and precious metals, and generally living out their existences in the not so drear darkness, their work and play lit but the fires of glow worm lamps, Smolder Stone beacons and scores of shuddered lanterns. To the big folk above they were merely a legend from the times before although a few of the elders recalled them fondly in the days when Dwarves would rise to the surface and trade their marvelous goods as well as outfit bold heroes and give them advice on their quests.
But there hasn't been quests for an age. Agartha has contin

Re-Imagining Swat Kats
If there was one thing MegaKat city hated more then the criminal element, it was vigilantes.
Not that they hadn't had their fair share of effective citizen heroes, the most famous now infamous example being Dark Kat who served the people as a silent, thankless defender from the shadows for years. Then for reasons still unknown to the day he turned villainous, leading a wave of terrorism and violence unparalleled in the city's checkered history. After the fall of Dark Kat it was a nigh capital offense for regular civilians to carry firearms, operate military grade vehicles, or engage in any unsanctioned heroic activities whatsoever.
That would be the job of the government owned and operated Enforcers.
And it was this lone opportunity to serve their populace (as well as legally gain access to high-grade explosives, gunships and well guns) that appealed to childhood friends Chance Furlong and Jake Clawson, the former being a Brutal Ba

Ext. The Fields of Battle Night
The sky is bright as dawn with the flickering red blare of firelight.
Against the crimsoned horizon can be seen innumerable dark shapes swarming towards a high castle wall, ancient but strong. Whether or not it can take the incoming horde of will soon be made all too clear.
Rushing, stumbling, leaping forward, these creatures are small but monstrous in shape wielding misshapen weapons hammed from raw iron, their armor just as crude but thick and studded with wicked spikes.
The guttural battle cries issuing from their fang-lined mouths fill the air.
These are the GNORKS.
Long ago these hills and groves were host to The Dragon Wars and they still bear the name 'Fields of Battle' with solemn monuments to fallen warriors as reminders of the cost. The gnoks swarm these dragon statues, some knocking the monuments to pieces with their weapons or defacing them cruelly with pitch.
Now, mustering behind the battlements, ar
