without a word,
nor a glimpse.
I created a thousand coincidence
yet, I still couldn't see your face.
My heart still whimpers,
each time I whisper your name,
all the girls look like you
and every scent smells
just like your perfume.
There was a time when
I was your savior,
A knight on a mighty steed
Our fingers were always tangled
in a blissful embrace,
you never let go
I was always there,
to drive away your fears.
My shield is rusted,
the bed is empty,
and it's still hard to breathe.
Your shadow dances to my sorrow
while I shiver alone,
with no one to hold dear.

A dastardly organization for years, this group of greedy, power-hungry people steal pokemon from both the wild and trainers and forced them to work for them as their henchmen, weapons, and sometimes as diversions and decoys to carry out other missions. This team of nasty people have gone to great lengths to get what they want, from designing pokeballs to heighten the anger of a pokemon to make it evil and attack anything, from genetic mutation altering the part of the brain that expresses hate and anger.
Just recently, the team has been working on a special group of genetically mutated pokemon from birth. They broke into a breeding center and stole most-to all the eggs and experimented on them. Most rotted and failed the genetic testing. Few survived.. and hatched. Among the strongest was a newborn Absol, quite big for his size.
This Absol appeared a darker grey instead of white and a reddish black much darker than the original dark blue. His eyes held a dark red iri

Rusty mewed as he crouched, bunching his little muscles. Then he leaped as high as he could, pushing off with his short, stubby hind legs, and only barely made it to the top of the countertop, scrabbling at the smooth, shiny surface for a heartbeat. He recovered quickly and peered at his mother Nutmeg from over the edge with bright green eyes, unfazed by his struggle.
"Did you see that? Did you see how high I jumped? I jumped so high, didn't I?"
Nutmeg craned her neck to look at her son. Her heart had skipped a beat when she had seen him scrabble for dear life, but she didn't scold him now this time for scaring her like that.
Instead, she only purred. "Yes, my love. You jumped very high."
"Look, look! Look at me, mum! Look at how I'm crouching!"
Nutmeg watched as Rusty crouched, lowering his small head just so it barely brushed the fresh-cut grass, tail standing out straight so it didn't drag th

Axel sprung away from me in an instant.
"Axel we need to talk," the voice barked from behind the door.
"It's Saix hide _____-chan," he whispered. I raced to the closet to hide, prior to Axel opening the door. Gazing through the keyhole, I could see a distinctive X on the man's forehead. He had long blue hair, and appeared very cross.
"Who's in here Axel? I heard crying," Saix retorted.
"Oh no he heard me crying," my mind raced frantically.
Axel patted the man of the back, "Saix you need to relax. I'm starting to wonder if the stress is getting to your head. Come to think of it, I believe I heard Demyx crying earlier too." What? Axel was such a casual liar, but would Saix believe him?
"I suppose it might have been Demyx. I apologize for the accusation. Xemnas has been quite upset lately. He believes there are traitors among us," Saix deeply sighed.
"Hey don't worry! Leave it all to me, I'll find the traitors Saix," Axel beamed.

Chapter 44 - The Start of the Mountain Journey
As the group traveled and got ever closer to reaching the mountain, Snowcrystal began to notice that it felt colder. It was a welcome feeling to her, but she could tell that a few of the others were a bit unnerved by it, and Thunder was constantly shivering. She knew the cold winds were coming from the direction of the mountain, and wondered if the cold had something to do with Articuno, or whether the mountain was just naturally that way. The massive stone monolith ahead of them loomed ever closer, and Snowcrystal hoped that they would reach it by the end of the day.
“There’s a stream over that way,” Alex called from up ahead. The floatzel stood and pointed, the wind whipping through her fur. “It’ll take a little while to get there, but there should be lots of prey…”
“It’s too far out of our way,” Wildflame replied crossly, narrowing her eyes against th

Chapter 47-A New Destination
A few days had passed since Snowcrystal's encounter with Scytheclaw, and the pokémon found themselves nearing the canyon once again. They had decided to rest early the previous day, but everyone was still tired. Morning had come faster than anyone had anticipated, and as the group of pokémon waited for those who were currently out hunting to return, they talked in low voices about what Snowcrystal had learned.
Snowcrystal herself kept out of their conversations; she had talked about it enough. Instead she simply waited for the hunters to return while trying to drown the sound of the others out. Her crystal amulet had been fixed by Nightshade, who had managed to find some thin but tough plant fibers to replace the broken ones that had held the crystal around her neck before. She wasn't sure where Nightshade was now; he had flown off to find food for himself and hadn't yet returned.
As she was contemplating walking away fr

Chapter 37 - The Shelter Caves
Snowcrystal and her small group walked among the canyon-native pokémon as the linoone led them down to the river and along the bank, going slowly enough to allow the injured members to keep up. Snowcrystal watched as the linoone walked up to the tall rock face of the cliff nearest to them, pushing aside a large mass of bushes and tangled vines to reveal a big stone passageway.
“Oh no…not more caves…” Spark groaned.
“It’s perfectly safe,” the linoone reassured him. “There’s been some food brought in here today, and there’s a small stream running through part of the cave if you want fresh water. You won’t have to go outside to get it.”
“Food?” Spark repeated, suddenly seeming perfectly fine with the idea of venturing into the cave.
“Yes,” the linoone repeated. “Come with me.”
As all the pokémon followed, Redclaw ca

You roll onto your side, turning away from the burning morning sun that trickles through your window. The direction you’re facing now is cool and dark. You keep your eyes closed for a while longer, not really wanting to wake up anytime soon. However, after a moment, you decide to give it up and open your eyes…only to be met by a surprise. “Good morning!”
You scream and jump up so fast that you fall off of the bed, dragging the covers with you.
“What’s wrong? Did I scare you or something?” asks America. You stare at him, unsure if you’re still hallucinating or not.
He looks human.
You scramble to your feet and reach out for his bare arm. Your fingers touch solid flesh. “Wh—what…how did you…?”
America smiles a bright smile and rolls around on your bed a little. “It’s kinda hard, staying cute like last night.”

It immediately turns into your favorite class as your best friend walks in and takes his seat next to you. He has fiery crimson hair that is extremely spiky and emerald green eyes that each have a reverse tear drop under them. He flashes you a smile as class begins. "Hey ________. Anything new today?"
You sigh but smile, "Other than the fact that this class nearly puts me to sleep, nope."
He had a look of mock-hurt on his face,

He pointed to the teacher.

That's what her sister had said before turning and walking away, leaving her to be alone in her room, with her cats and her birds all around her.
She could not hear her sister's thoughts anymore, but there was that tone in her voice that was strong enough to show that she believed what she said.
It was rare for Koishi to show strength in her words or expressions, and it hurt to hear that elusive force behind words like those.
But there was something so horrifying about being unable to tell what was going on in the minds of others.
Satori had always some sort of peace with her natural mind-reading because of this -- she didn't always want to have the thoughts of others echoing in her head, but at the very least, she could always out-predict them and, thus, keep herself safe.
Yet, around Koishi, her own sister -- there was this feeling of fear that came with not being able to tell what she was thinking.
She was a gentle, caring person who

A wave of pure blackness crashed down upon the sand, catching a lone Treecko and dragging her into the ocean with its powerful tide. Its victim splashed around desperately, gasping for breath as the sea pulled her below the surface and then let go a few moments after, as if it were only a cruel joke; as if it was just toying with the creature.
Suddenly the vast ocean vanished and the Treecko was sitting in soft, welcoming grass, although she still felt drenched. Water dripped down from her nose and arms, creating a low pool beneath her legs. Taking in a deep breath, she rose and panted. She cautiously took a few steps, weak from fighting the current of the sea.
