Accident + Emergency 13, 14+15Kaitlin
Kaitlin didn't know how long she waited before her mum's old green Volvo pulled into the car park. She had been scanning the faces of multiple patients being wheeled from assorted operating theatres. That was one theatre that she never wanted to be in. She watched for one stretcher with a boy with messy black hair and piercing green eyes but he never came. She heard a car horn toot and she rushed from the disinfectant smelling waiting room. Her mother didn't look angry to be woken up at midnight to collect her, she just looked worried and concerned. Kaitlin climbed into the Volvo and closed her eyes. She could see a pair of green eyes, unblinking, staring back at her behind her closed lids. She started and rapidly opened them again as they drove into the night away from Conor and the memories of that night.
As they pulled into the driveway her mum started pestering her for information about what had happened. Kaitlin just switched off and ignored her mum's questions.

The sound of a wish in a single word.
Autumn releases a burst of nature's fireworks, in bright colors of red and gold.
Winter covers the world in a bright white blanket of snow.
But there is no such beauty as of that of springtime.
The time when everyone feels a little more joy in their hearts.
The time when even the coldest and dreariest of places can be filled up with life.
Scents of roses in the air.
Music dances in and out of breezes.
and birds catching song,
Sharing it with the world!
The thrill of time changing through seasons upon seasons!
Take the time,
To hear the birds singing in the trees.
The hum of the bees.
The silent sound of petals
Drifting in the wind,
Calling out to the world!
The sound of a wish in a single word!
Oh, how it sings!
Oh, how it shines!
Oh, how it makes you want to dance!
Because no one can resist
The song of springtime.
Grating RaspsIt courses and winds like air through veins,Grating Rasps2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Falls languidly through space, red as wax, drips
From barren branches full with leaves,
From sighs and outstretched fingertips.
It howls in silver song from the moon-top
Grips like ice and as ice does, lets go.
Stars and hollowness gently fall,
As it's all that nothingness will ever know.
It shudders and shatters in scarlet decay,
Breaks like waves of unblemished sound,
Until scattering, piece by crystalline piece
To the dusty, earth caked, green-strewn ground.
It leaves forms laying in beds of growth,
Traces rivers through rock before treading back.
It resonates through choking and grasps hungrily at light,
Extinguishing black for greater, water soaked black.
And it comes as easily as it goes,
Goes as though it never came.
A Broken Girl-Penny LaneWhy does he have to be this way? Honestly, it really makes no sense why he has to act like this. This boy, John, who thinks he is so magnanimous, so charming, so important, is driving me to a form of insanity that I dare not display to the world. He is a malediction to me. He has made me so confused about him; about myself. Thanks to him, I am now possibly the most hapless girl in the world.A Broken Girl-Penny Lane2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
When I first got to know John, I thought we could be such good friends. I was genial to him, I gave him kudos when he wrote a new, brilliant song, and I even praised the laconic speech he used for his poetry. I did everything I could to be a good friend to him. Sadly, I overlooked one of John's most awful characteristics; he was malevolent. He wanted to see me in pain. His words lacerated my heart and soul. He made ignominous remarks about who I was and what I believed. John basicly labeled me as an idolatrous, garish, stuck-up brat who has a holier-than-thou attitude. Just to know that John though
To the SkyDid you know that there's a hole in the sky?To the Sky2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Soon the sky will become glass
The stars will rain down onto us
The rain is raining upside down
I could see the puddles, dropping in the sky
La-la la la la
La-la la la la
Do remember, we will fly
To join God's tears
The oceans will rise
The drops will splash
La-la la la la
La-la la la la
The wind will whisper, touch the blue
To the skies
We will swim through endless oceans of clouds
By night the black hole, that will swallow us whole
We will explode with a million of stars to explore the universe
