Hardly Love At AllIt's quite strange how we met. The patter of electronic signals passing through the lines. The sound of the computer fans buzzing by my ear. The moaning of the woman I was currently having sex with. Across from us was her husband who was having sex with a much younger girl. She was closer to my age than the couple was.
We stood outside the doorway to the apartment building fully dressed. "Got a ride?" I asked her. She seemed too innocent to be meeting strangers on the internet and having sex with them. She just nodded her head no. "Neither do I," I said and she smiled. She was quiet when I first walked in the apartment. She sat on the couch next to Greta, the married woman. Greta played with her hair as I approached them. I knew their would be another person there but I didn't expect anyone as young or as fragile as she looked.
"Catching a bus?" I asked her. She nodded yes.
"Do you live far?" I continued to attack her with questions. She took some time to answer and she kinda wobbled h

That woman down the hall was staring at me again. She just stands there staring. When will she stop? I can feel her eyes following me down the hall. Her eyes burned tiny holes into my back.
Diary, today was just exhausting. Julie is such a simple girl. She works at a local clothing store as a sales clerk. She is beautiful girl but hides it behind unflattering clothes and thick glasses. She lives outside the city in an old house. By the looks of things she may have inherited it from her parents. I will check more into that tomorrow. At the store I wandered near the staff back room and on a cork board, plainly visible for anyone to see, was her shift hours. This is way too easy.
She drives a small compact car. Typical. She had about twenty or so empty soda bottles litter the passenger side seat and floor. So she obviously doesn't give many people a ride. Therefore, she probably doesn't have many friends. Perfect.
This one feels a little too easy. But that's okay. I

I can feel it calling.
I drove by Julie's house and noticed a suspicious car parked across the street. I knew for a fact that the Martin's didn't own a similar car. They owned a '76 Silverado.
So I kept driving and I found a nice hidden place to park and then I walked.
I was desperate. I could not keep the cops from stopping me tonight. She needed to die tonight, Diary. I wasn't prepared to use my backup plan but I had no other choice. I walked through a 10 acre yard in the moonlight carrying a filled gas can. The grass was wet and I was leaving footprints. It didn't matter, she has to die.
I broke in through the back door and crept in. The living room window was wide open. It left a perfect view of the staircase leading up to the bedroom on the second floor. The cop outside should be able to see anyone enter her bedroom.
It didn't matter. I poured gasoline throughout the back of the house and lit a match.
I ran, and I ran, until I passed out.

Diary, it is getting late. The hunger is tearing me apart. I must kill that old lady; but I'm just falling apart. My stomach hurts. My eyes burn and the headache I have won't go away. I feel like I am slowly become him. When I look in the mirror, he smiles back at me. When I fall asleep, he forces me stay up. He won't let me eat; he won't let me do anything but write.
My fingers are dripping in blood. My eyes are dripping with tears. My head is dripping in sweat. My mind is dripping with insanity. The walls drip with words.
I know everything. I feel everything. I don't know when this started but it must have been when he killed Sarah. I broke into two people. At first I was the innocent one until he slowly forced his hunger into my mind. Over the years I controlled it pretty well. I only killed two women in college. After that it was usually wives or young single women who had easy routines. I killed them to keep him

I thought today was a dream. It started when I went down to check the mail. It was just more bills and junk mail; no mail from Sarah. I was a bit depressed till I saw Vanessa. She was coming in with some groceries and needed some help. I grabbed the door for her, like a gentleman, and helped her out.
After I carried her groceries we had a little talk in her little kitchen. I got her talking about things other than boyfriends, the party and or anything else that would make her upset. It worked.
She had a bottle of whiskey in one of the bags and the next thing I know we were laughing and having a good time. She even said, "She hasn't met such a funny and nice guy like me."
The whole time I was plotting about how I was going to kill Julie.

I left the apartment today to get some groceries and that old lady down the hall was staring at me again. Sometimes I think she knows.
Oh and there is a new tenant across the hall. She must have moved in while I was at the store. I caught a glimpse of her through her opened door. I only saw her beautiful blond hair draped over her blue t-shirt and her nice legs in a pair of tight blue jeans. The apartment was bright. I guess they have yet put up any blinds.
Diary, I got more pages done on that novel. I think this is the one. It's definitely better than my first novel. T. Casil is back and soon the world will know.

But this is what you want. Isn't it?
No, you were supposed to be safe from all this carnage. That's why you were created. I was supposed to be the killer.
No! You were created.
Really? Just because you have been in control longer doesn't mean you are the original Todd. That girl I loved, with our heart. She was going to leave us forever. I had to do something.
She did leave us forever. You killed Sarah.
I did, to protect us. You believed that she left but still loved you. You thought she was still alive.

Yes I did, to protect you. Do you remember what happened to your parents?
They are in a home somewhere out of town.

To anyone who reads this,
I am lost in the woods. Todd attacked me and if I don't make it out of here alive then he has also killed me.
He's crazy. We woke up in the middle of the night and I heard a wolf howl. It scared me. I told Todd that I was scared and we need to go home; but he wouldn't listen. The howling got louder and I started to cry. He looked into my eyes and I told him, 'I want to go home. I want to be with my family.' He snapped, I saw it in his eyes.
He hit me over the head with a rock. I'm bleeding and I am getting a bit dizzy. I just want to you to know that I love you mom. I love you too, dad and I am sorry.
I spent the whole day writing. I tried to get those notes out of my head. I wrote and wrote and wrote. Then... someone knocked on the door. I assumed it was Vanessa. I just sat there typing away. I've been watching the old lady down the hall. This kill is going to be easy. From what I can see out of the corner of my peephole, she leaves everyday at around 8:30 in the morning to get the newspaper and a coffee. Around lunch time she leaves the door open to her apartment till about 8 in the afternoon. She leaves it open for ventilation while she cooks and to air out her apartment.
She takes her smoke breaks around 1, 5, and 8.

Diary, I am writing from my childhood bedroom. I found the letter. I found all of them. How can she be dead and still be able to send me all these letters?
She's alive and I need to find her. I plan on heading back to my apartment tomorrow morning to pack up and get a flight ready.
I called Vanessa from my house phone. Vanessa was happy to hear from me and I was also happy to hear her voice. I felt so nervous to even call her. I felt my stomach get queasy before I even dialed her number. I'm glad I did. The sound of her voice made me forget about everything. We talked for about an hour and she asked me to meet her friends. Our relationship is growing pretty fast. I'm not sure how I can juggle two relationships. I have one with a loving angel and the other with a murderous hunger.
The hunger swims in circles in the back of my stomach. It's like a hungry shark contained in a huge fish tank swimming constantly in circles.

Julie Stone, 26, died August 12th 1988.
Julie was born on January 8th in 1962 and attended Memorial High School where she received her High School Diploma. She excelled as an artist and had plans to attend the Liberation Community College early next year.
She is survived by her aunt, Crystal Birmingham. A small service will be provided at Liddell's Funeral Home.
I walked over to Vanessa's apartment and knocked on her door. I asked her to lunch and guess what? She said yes. And then, you won't believe this, we went to watch a movie afterwards.
I feel so much better after the other night. It's like the hunger is almost gone. Of course it won't be gone for long but at least I won't pass out anymore. That note I got in the mail was a bit creepy. But I'm in control, not him.
So I knocked out more of my book in the morning and spent time with Vanessa. What a perfect day, Diary. We get along very well and I can tell that she likes

Todd Casil is dead.
When those bullets ripped through him we meet face to face. I saw him die there in my arms. My mother was there, watching. She walked up to me and said, "Everything will be okay. He's dead now. But you need to get up. You need to live. You need to redeem yourself."
I saw a light. This beautiful white light flooded over the darkness in my apartment. And through that darkness was a policeman. As his hand with the flashlight moved to press his walkie-talkie, I hit him hard with the corner of you, my Diary. You saved me.
I lifted Vanessa from the floor and sneaked out the backway of the apartments. I drove to my old home and left her out in the woods. Across from her, I left my Diary. She looked just like Sarah lying there in the woods. I didn't want to hurt her. I knew at this moment that the hunger was gone. I didn't need to kill anyone that reminds me of Sarah or my mother.

What a great day. I could not wait to tell you how it went. I went down to check for mail and guess who I saw? Vanessa. I even introduced myself to her. I told her I lived across the hall from her and she apologized for not introducing herself earlier. She was traveling back and forth from her home town, trying to get stuff situated before college started.
She was more beautiful than I imagined. She was working on her master's in English Literature. What a surprise, right? I told her I was a writer and had a couple of books published. We talked for almost an hour. We talked as we walked back to our apartment and she invited me to a party she was having on Friday.
She was really nice and quite beautiful. This may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Don't worry Diary. You are still my best friend.
I woke up really early today. I decided to go out and buy some new clothes. That's where I met Julie.

I've always been a friend of death. Even as a child I welcomed it. I remember the night my father murdered my mother. Her green eyes staring back at me as she lied on the floor. My father stared at her, angry at her for what he did. He's in prison now, with all the dumb lunatics. The smart ones are still out there. I met a lot of them during my years on the run and today I've finished my first short story in my new book A Vagrant's Story.

Life as a vagrant - it was one of the most intriguing things I have done. Twenty years, I talked with murderers and dined with the insane. I wrote this story this morning after watching the new neighbor move in. From what I can tell it's two sisters that are going to college. Their father and brother helped them move in. The younger sister has green eyes. Thinking of Angela is helping me not think of those horrid green eyes.

It wasn't even Halloween, yet three men stood around an oil drum warming their hands over the fire, wearing mask. I wasn't scared or even frighten. I knew one of those men was my friend Joe. He was one of the few friends that I made during my time as a vagrant. "What's with the mask?" I asked Joe. "I could ask you the same," he said as they all giggled.

Life in an apartment building - is just plain horrible. Life in a house - the best. This whole neighborhood is slowly emerging from nothing, which will make it harder to get rid of the bodies. When I first moved here I was the only one on the block.
A body is buried under the Rosales's house. Another is under the Jackson's home. Across from me is one of my favorites, she wanted me to kill her. Strange, but I could see how ruined she was in the inside. She was almost like me.
Next door is a new lot and they pour the cement today. That will cover my new kill from yesterday. You know, I watch television all the time and I don't know how these serial killers get caught. If they only paid attention to the other's mistakes, they could have gotten away with it. Like I do.

In about a week I'll finally be married.
From Charles Costello's "A Vagrant's Story"
I once stumbled upon a man who dug three graves in abandon lot. He not only dug three holes in the ground, but he also placed three headstones. I approach the old man and he sputtered out nonsense. "Spunkt, moses, krinkth, ass." At least that's what it sounded like.
I followed the old man around the broken city. The first thing he did was break into an abandoned car, then he wandered around and peed on some front door - it eventually lead to nothing. I had just wasted my time.
I wandered back to the gravesite and that's where I saw all three holes filled. I slowly approached the headstones and, in white chalk, read them from left to right. M, $, and Death.
I hid when I heard the old vagrant return. He dragged an old rusty shovel behind him, sputtering more random craziness. He dug up the first grave and when he reached the bottom, he pulled out a small bag. He opened i
