Original: [link] Yay memes! A good way to show drawings while answering questions. Now, about each one:
2- Believe it or not, I didn't like Sideshow Bob very much when I was younger, mainly because I found the idea of an adult wanting to disembowel the 10-year old protagonist extremely creepy, and because I never liked the "recurring villain who loses only because he's not allowed to win, ever" motif. But recently, near the beginning of this year, I began to like him very much. Not because he's evil or insane, but because of his personality, voice, mannerisms, and because he's just too cool and funny, even if we know he'll never win or redeem himself.
3- Ahem, well, it's Winter here in Chile, and Bob is feeling my pain. Besides, I didn't want to draw him sexy.
4- I like drawing this couple so much, I can't help it, don't ask me why.
5- And I love their little brat as well.
6- Not gonna kill Bob. Sorry.
7- Sooo many memories....I was very little, and I saw it on VHS. Guess I still have it, somewhere.
8- Now you can see why I don't use the Simpsons style for my fanart.
9- I don't think *anybody* likes those episodes. I dislike some of the Treehouse of Horror ones as well.
10- I can't draw Bob as a "human" at all. He looks so weird!
11- I stand my position, at the risk of sounding like a broken record.
I won't tag anybody. If you want to do it, go ahead.
Yeah, in the last season's episode "Changing of the Guardian", Homer and Marge have a near death experience ... then worried about who will take care of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Everyone in town is too scared, but then they encounter a "cool" couple to take them in, but then they're afraid they will taking the kids away... then they confront about this, and they agree to never appear again... yeah... it was one of THOSE episodes....
I was looking forward to this, when I heard Danny Devito will appear as Herb's long lost successful brother, Herb Powell, who happens to be immune to the dreaded Simpsons gene... except Herb didn't appear, rather just have a phone call... saying how he is no longer rich...
You know... I know the economy is not great... and the writers are not "fans" of rich business people... but that one line of Herb saying, "I'm poor again" is pretty insulting to his character... He started his car business from scrap, only to let it fail by spoiling Lisa and Bart while giving Homer unlimited resources to build his "dream" car, lived as a bum for a year only to raise up and make a machine that TRANSLATE BABY TALK!!! How he loose money? He is a SMART business man! How can he be poor again? Did "Mypple" undermined him with their product apps or something? Is that the writers excuse for why he was gone for so long? THen what about Lunchlady Doris or Marge's mother? They been gone for years with little to no reference or call backs?!? I swear, this season's writers just do not care or even trying anymore... which I hope changes with this "last" season... hate to have a show to be on for so long end on such a... crappy note...
