The rain had just stopped, and the sun was barely peeking through between the clouds and the horizon, illuminating the shallow river bend in the far distance.

I am very excited to be able to shoot this location with the Tokina 11-16mm and Photomatix Pro. There is just no way I could without them.

The birds were gone, and so was the wind. Everything was still. Even the few people who were still around stopped talking.

Swampy bank of the Fraser river in Richmond, Beautiful British Columbia. Really like how the purple tones came through in this one, along with the two patches of pink.

First (and probably last) sunset on crutches, so I was kind of limited as to what I can compose. Luckily the tide was in, and the grass is nice and lush already.
