Come Home, SpagnaHe hated it when he left. Of course, he would never show it. That was something Lovino would never do. Antonio would announce he would be leaving for a while and all Lovino would do was huff and shrug.Come Home, Spagna3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
He'd say he didn't care. He'd say that he wouldn't miss the Spanish nation if he was ever asked if he would. He said that he would be perfectly fine alone during that time. He said that he could cope without him.
And he was... for a day or two at least. Lovino loved the freedom of doing whatever he wanted whenever he was alone. There was no Spain to boss him around. There was no Spain to tell him what he could and could not do, to tell him where he could and could not go. No Spain to tell him he shouldn't eat too many tomatoes or he will be sick, no Spain to tell him when he should go to bed. No Spain to tell him to do his chores. No Spain to tell him to stop being lazy and help out once in a while.
This freedom was something that Lovino enjoyed for a while... but soon the small nation f
SiestaAntonio liked naps, especially after lunch.Siesta3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Lovino also liked naps. However, he wasn't too keen to take one with the tomato bastard he called a lover. Here he was at Antonio's house for the first time in weeks and this was one of the rare opportunities that the two nations got to see each other; their bosses had kept them so busy lately that they found it hard to even speak to each other let alone see each other. With all the crap that had been happening lately, Lovino actually welcomed the break. He welcomed the little holiday with open arms and even if was only for a weekend, it was better than nothing.
Antonio smiled lightly, lying comfortably in the bed. He gestured to the smaller male before him and pulled on his wrist lightly, tugging him onto the bed beside him. Lovino scowled, having landed in an awkward position beside the Spaniard and huffed, "I don't approve of this."
"Aww, why not? I just want to take a nap with you that's all!" Antonio said, adjusting his position slightly

Matthew Williams woke up to warm, calming sunshine filling his room, lighting up his cream-colored walls and curtains. He smiled softly as he pulled his blanket back and stepped out, feeling unusually happy. What was today again? Violet eyes found his calendar, and he read the date.
"July the first " he began, smile widening, " is my birthday "
That's why he was so happy! Matthew was always forgotten every other day of the year, but for some reason he always had high hopes for his birthday. He would always hope someone would think, 'Hey! It's Canada's birthday today!' or something to that effect. Hope was all he had.
After showering and changing clothes, Matthew treated himself to a warm, fresh batch of pancakes with his sweetest maple syrup. He savored the fluffy richness, having a good feeling about the following hours. Maybe he could invite a few people over just for fun, and not some goliath of a party like his brother.

“Well, eet’s 6:00. Everybody’s rushing to get ‘ome.”
“It’ll be an hour before we get home!”
“Actually, eet’ll be longer.” England turned to him.
“Why do you say that?” He smiled and pulled a blindfold from his pocket.
“Out zis on and you’ll find out!” England looked at the blindfold, to France, and then sighed as he took it from him. He put it on, “I’m surprised at how easily I’m agreeing. Normally I would say ‘no way in hell’… bit I guess I just want to leave this bloody traffic.”
France smiled. “We’ll definitely be leaving zis traffic, zat’s for sure.”
“So where are we going?”

"Ve, Lovi! Why do we have to walk so fast?" Feliciano whined as he tried to catch up with his brother. Lovi... or Lovino, as he preferred to be called, huffed from a few paces away from his whining younger twin and replied haughtily, "Because it's dark, cold and I'm hungry damnit! Now hurry the fuck up! I'm not waiting for you again!"
The other Italian brother hurried to catch up and he fell in step with Lovino. He nervously looked at the other male and despite his bad mood, he struck up conversation, "Ve, Lovi! Don't you think it was nice that we got let off work early tonight? That means I get to talk to Ludwig longer"
"Why do you still talk to that bastard?" Lovino asked with a scowl. He really didn't like his brother's new boyfriend Ludwig. He hated him from day one... the moment he heard that ridiculous German accent, the Italian decided he loathed him. He absol
Running Straight Back To YouI'm running away and I don't know why. My chest feels heavy and I almost can't breathe. My feet slap against the rain slick pavement, soaking my shoes and socks and feet to the bone. It's cold, and it stings my cheeks as well. I'm scared. I'm running and I'm running, but I don't know why. I don't even know where I'm running. I'm running and I'm running, to a place that doesn't matter.Running Straight Back To You3 years ago in Romance More Like This
I'm struggling to remember that place I was at. As my feet begin to ache I continue down that dark, dark, sidewalk, just forcing myself forward. I don't remember what has driven me this direction, but I know it still hurts. My heart begins to pound rapidly like gunfire, and I'm not even sure if I'm crying, for it could also be the rain. Either way, my vision is blurred and it is growing harder for me to see. But even then, I don't stop.
I hear a name call me out, but I can't stop. My body won't let me. All I can do is keep running and running. I feel like I'm going to collapse at any given second, but

Matthew sat in the library quietly, immersed in the fictional illusion of the story. Images and pictures were swirling around his mind, a small smile on his face as he flipped the page. He felt like he could hear the voices speaking in his head, feel the wind on his face and hair, it all felt real to him. He shifted in his position in the chair, as he rested his head on his knuckles, letting his blond locks fall into his face. His violet eyes continued to be lost in the words.
He was almost finished.
The doctors told them that I would likely die in my early twenties, at the latest. Though, they also said I could die any time, really.
The time had passed quickly, and by the end of the book the boy was sobbing in his hands, letting the tears roll down his cheeks. Well, there was another amazing book done and complete. That had been a tearjerker for sure.
Matthew realized he spent a lot of his days

Antonio would never forget the moment when he first laid eyes on him. His amber orbs, his dark brown hair, that frown and visible pout that proved to him that he didn't want to be here. But of course, moving to a new area was a little daunting; Antonio knew that from personal experience. He had moved to California from Spain a year before and if he was going to be honest, it took him a while to adjust and get used to the change. It was scary at first, but his two best friends- Gilbert and Francis- helped him through it. He met them at school and ever since they had been inseparable and that first day they had acted like they had known each other for years.
And that was why Antonio was now walking across the street to the house opposite his own with a bright smile. It was always good to have a friend, right? He approached the other brunette and extended his hand, that smile always remaining and he said, "Hola! I'm Antonio! I live across the street.

"D-damn it... This is it for me.." He mumbled, closing his eyes slowly. "S-Spain..."
"Romano!" shouted a familiar voice. "Where are you?" It shouted again. Romano didn't move but he opened his eyes slowly, to see a familiar figure hovering over him.
"S-Spain..." He coughed a little.
"Shh, It's alright, just lay still, I'll get you out of here." He cupped his hand to Romanos face.
Slowly he unbuttoned Romanos shirt to get a better look at the damage. It made him sick, his little Lovi's side was burned to nothing but black flesh. Spain looked to his bloody hands, closed his eyes and looked away for a moment. He ripped off part of his uniform and placed the cloth on the wound slowly.
Romano let out a soft hiss as he felt the cloth make contact with the wound. He just closed away the pain with the shut of his eye lids. Spain cupped his lovers cheek, and then picked him u

He didn't call to Lovino that he was home either he wanted to surprise him. A small smile on his face, he stalked through the villa like a cat, searching out his lover. His feet padded softly on the terracotta tiles as he hunted, slipping around corners and through arched doorways. Lovino was not in the living room, or the kitchen... perhaps he was upstairs taking a siesta usual for this time of day. But he was not there either. This upset Toni a little; he enjoyed sneaking into bed with his little Lovi to join his afternoon rest. Never AgainBreathe in...Breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out again. His heart beat a frantic tempo against his chest and his breathing was deafeningly loud in his ears. Every detail he saw seemed sharper and more in focus. How ironic, that he felt more alive now, moments before he prepared to jump, than ever before, even in battle when death had loomed over him constantly.
Once, he had been respected, feared even. Prussia's army had been one of the most powerful in history and he had conquered a large portion of Europe with it. Before his dissolution, he had stood proudly and had truly believed himself to be more awesome than any other nation.
But after the war everything had changed. After he had been dissolved, the physical
