This picture is not one of mine. I saw this one facebook today and I wanted to share it with my fellow Deviants. This is a very important subject to me. I am very passionate about marine life and I want to major in marine biology in college. This picture.. disgusts me.
PLEASE READ! EVERYONE!
1. Recycle as much plastic as you can! The smallest pieces of plastic or litter lying around can cause an animal harm! 2. If you see trash or materials that can be recycled laying around.. PICK IT UP! 3. If you see someone polluting or littering, call them out! 4. Soda rings (a.k.a. 6 or 12 pack plastic rings that hold the cans together) you need to CUT each ring with a pair of scissors so it cannot get stuck around an animal's neck and cause harm 5. Speak up. Teach others around you not to pollute or litter. Whether it's family, friends, classmates, or just a person you sit next to on the bus everyday. 6. Pass it on. Volunteer, help pick up when you see litter, and show others how recycling can help our environment. 7. If you are in school, talk to the administrators, fellow classmates, and teachers about getting recycling bins, having presentations about recycling and how to stop littering, and ways to improve trash collection!
One person CAN make a difference! Pass this along my fellow deviants! You can help save many animals lives!
This is a mandala. It is made entirely of coloured sand. It was made by Buddhist monks from the Tashi Lhumpo Monastery in Southern India. It was made by memory and took ten days to construct. The monks used bronze cones woth notches along the top. They filled the cones with sand and scraped the notches with a small sheet of metal so the sand came out of the hole on th small end of the cone.
The mandala is a depiction of a Buddhist palace. The palace of Chenrezig, the spirit of compassion. The 14th Dalai Lama is the current incarnation of Chenrezig. and after it is finished spirits are invited to inhabit the palace and the monks ask them to help people acheive their wishes. After a short time the mandala is ritually destroyed and the sand is thrown into running water so the goodness is spread to as many people as possible.
I'm sure this will sound insane (pun intended), but running around an abandoned mental asylum in hospital gowns and restraint vests is hysterical!
Exquisite Model:[link] Photo/Insane Styling: Yep, me
Also, I hope that it is understood that my intention with this shoot was NOT to make light of mental illness. Rather, I had hoped to point out that EVERYONE has moments, days, weeks, perhaps even months where life is a day-to-day struggle. We all go a little insane from time to time, and that's okay. You're not alone!

Special Note: New Generation of Trains, hope they will be more effective as the Old Cisalpino. The Old one was hated by passenger cause he's very uncomfortable and everything is defect or broken, there are always negative news about them English the old cisalpino was the first train who was stucked in the new Lötschberg basistunel cause of technical problems. The Desing of the new one is really amazing (I think ) The Front is designed to absorb 6 MJ (Megajoule) energy in case of an accident. Design by Gugiaro. As the SBB had a big mess and difference with the producers of the cisalpino 2 they maintain their 7 units themselfs. In 2010 the cisalpino AG announced insolvency. Now all 14 units are operated by the SBB, about half of them were given new livery (red, white, black). SOmetimes you can see two coupled units. ______________________________
