Breathing a sigh of relief as I left the school gates, I made my way back home, thinking about taking a nap. I was tired, undoubtedly, from having slept only four hours the night before, but that was seeming to become a regular routine for me. Go home, take a nap, wake up an hour or two later, play a bit of video games, surf the 'net, finish homework, continue surfing the 'net, chat online with a few friends, and then go to bed at three in the morning. Repeat the next day.
I sighed heavily at myself, life was boring at times. Sure, I was the kind to enjoy routines, but not when one's personal daily routine involved spending close to twelve hours in school.
Five minutes of walking from school grant
The Dragon in Me Part1I was just walking around in the city. It was a wonderful day in the middle of the summer. The sun had just risen and was shining in my face. I had decided to take an early walk and was now on the way home. I was crossing the road when it happened. A car hit me from the side. When I was flying the whole time seemed to slow down and I felt something rush through my body. Then I blacked out and crashed against the wall. The driver of the car just went on like nothing had happened. For my luck the next passenger that saw me called the emergency ambulance. They came quickly and brought me to the hospital. When they found out who I was they informed my parents, who came as fast as the could. When they reached the hospital they were led to my room. I had to look terrible. Several bones broken, bleeding just like every where and to make it worse the doctor told them, that I had a concussion.
