Break Up, Make Up
Alex huffed and threw himself back onto the sofa. They had been recording all day and he was exhausted, he glared at Jack who was whistling happily. He was only happy because he had done next to nothing today. Jack looked at Alex; who was glaring holes in his head. He stopped whistling. "What?" He asked, swinging his legs off the table he was sat on and collapsed next to Alex.
"How are you so fucking awake? I'm ready to fall asleep right here and now." Alex groaned and let his head fall onto Jack's shoulder.Jack patted his head and smiled, fishing his phone out of his pocket.
"Cause I haven't been recording vocals all day 'Lex."
Alex brought his legs up to his chest and then let his knees fall into Jack's lap. "I know you haven't" he mumbled "becuase I've been doing it"
Jack rested his head on top of Alex's and played around on his phone. He then noticed the silence. Without lifting his head, his eyes drifted around the room. Empty spa
Perfect Enough For Me - JalexI want to be beautiful perfect gorgeous. I want to be so skinny I could wrap my hands around my waist in a circle. My stomach so concave that people could eat soup from it like a bowl. Hips that were so prominent they could cut diamonds. I don't have any of that. Every day, when I look into that goddamned mirror, all I see is someone who could look so much better. I repulse myself. I see a face that makes me want to fall down and cry because of how disgusting it is. I see dark circles under my eyes and bags....horrible bags that make me look older than I am. Whenever I smile at myself in the mirror, I cringe because it makes my cheeks look repulsively bulbous, more than they already are. Nothing can make me feel better about how I look.Perfect Enough For Me - Jalex5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Jack sat there on Alex's bed, his eyes wide, staring down at the worn journal in his lap. He didn't mean to read Alex's journal, it wasn't something that he had planned on doing, it was opened to that page when Alex's mother
Late Night Kisses - Jalex"'Lex, it's your turn to change the movie" Jack whines, eating yet another mouthful of gummy-worms.Late Night Kisses - Jalex4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"No it's not." Alex argues "I changed it last time"
"Please? I feel sick" he looks to the opposite end of the sofa, where Alex is curled into a ball.
"You feel sick because you've eaten three packs of sweets," Alex rolls his eyes.
"Come on, 'Lex. Just change the film" Jack pouts slightly, hoping to sway the younger boy into doing what he wanted. To his surprise; it actually works for once.
Alex breathes out through his nose "Fine" he says in defeat "But you're doing it next time"
Alex's parents are out of town for the weekend so Alex had invited Jack to come stay over; which had lead to Jack buying a large amount of sweet and eating them as they watched movies on Alex's HD-TV.
Jack nods, taking what he can get.
And his eyes follow as Alex moves from the sofa and he bends down to the DVD player. He grabs a disk case and slots another movie into
Your not my mom- jalexAlex slouched against the wall sighing as he waited for his teacher to come and unlock the classroom door. He was half asleep when the teacher Mr. Springer finally walked into the little corner where all the music classrooms were held. He sat down in the small mirrored piano lab, looking at his reflection fixing his bangs so they were over his forehead as he was doing this he heard a chuckle. He looked up to see his best friend Jack Barakat. "What I'm not aloud to fix my hair to cover my gigantic forehead?" Alex knew this would cause Jack to compliment him and he lived to hear Jack say those kinds of things, even if he had to prompt them sometimes. Alex was very much in love with his best friend, he just couldn't tell him.Your not my mom- jalex5 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Jack set at his keyboard that is located next to Alex and sighs rolling his eyes. "You look wonderful Alex, you always do." Jack then pokes Alex's stomach playfully. Mr. Springer walked in though and class started. It was a simple class that will earn Alex

Another day of boring school. Joy. Jack stepped off the yellow bus and began to slowly trudge up to the doors of the massive grey building. Wandering past the jocks and the cheerleaders, he ignored the harsh comments made at him and walked over to where his locker was. He tapped in the combination and it sprung open easily. Jack blinked. Usually he had to hit it to make it open. Shrugging the luck off, he looked in his locker and his eyes landed on something that definately wasn't his. A small red rose and a small white card with 'Sing me to sleep, I'll see you in my dreams...'. Jack blushed.
Alex's eyes scanned the hallway and spotted Jack shutting his locker; he wove his way through the masses of other bodies and stopped next to his taller friend.
"Hey dude, what's up?" he asked; seeing the shocked look on Jack's face.
Jack snapped out of his little trance and looked at Alex. "Uh...The ceiling?" He said weakly, a small smile on his face
To Fix A Broken HeartAlex shifted his weight slightly on his elbows as he continued to write his lyrics in his notebook, as he read the lyrics he could feel a tear trickle down his cheek. Singing the last few lines to himself he could feel his throat closing up "So now I'll go, Leave you be, Cause I know you won't be, missing me, missing me " the song came to a close, Alex's voice was nearly gone, laying down in his bunk he broke into silent sobs. The salty tears rolled off his flushed cheeks and down onto his pillow soaking it. He couldn't help but miss Lisa, even though she'd been horrible to him he loved her. He missed her smile, the way she smelt, her laugh and her tiny arms around him, all those things gone. Alex couldn't take it, he just cried. To Fix A Broken Heart4 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Jack was walking by the bunk area in the tour bus when he heard Alex's nearly silent tears, sighing, he peaked his head around the soft cotton curtain that hid Alex. "Lex " Jack said sadly, he hated seeing Alex like this. Crawling into Alex's bunk ne

It was a Tuesday afternoon. We were on break, and I couldn't help but feel so comfortable just sitting on the kitchen floor next to Jack. We just sat there and told stories. We were supposed to make lunch but what did it matter? He didn't care, I didn't care. He was one of my closest friends... in which I couldn't help but feel a little closer to. Was it wrong? I've only ever admitted it to myself. I think I would only ever admit it just to myself. I couldn't tell Jack I felt like that towards him. I wouldn't want our friendship to crumble.
It had been 20 minutes. We still had the untouched bread out on the counter, the half full beer bottles, the cheese, lettuce, what ever the hell else you put on a mediocre sandwich. We still didn't care though. I kept smiling throughout the conversation. Why? You should have seen his face. We were bringing back highschool memories and each second he would just grin like a fool. If only I saw that everyday...
I checked my watch... 3:30. Two hours sin
Sand In Your Shoes- Jalex"Zaaaaack!" I moaned, tugging at the collar of my best friend's tank top. No, I'm not a needy six year old, but this party sucks donkey cock. "Zaaaack it's time to go home now!" Zack groaned, but didn't bother to turn and face me.Sand In Your Shoes- Jalex4 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Alex, we arrived five minutes ago."
"Yeah, and it stopped being fun five minutes ago." Zack sighed, as if he was about to explain the solar system to an infant.
"Look. I'm going to go HAVE FUN. You'll just have to try to survive till it's time to drive me home."
"Scrape your drunk ass off the pavement " I muttered darkly, and he must not have caught it, since he gave me a very patronising pat on the back before disappearing into the crowd.
"Fuck. My. Life." I moaned, punctuating each word with a kick of the wall. The last one fucking hurt.
"Owwww ShitShitShitShit!" I spun around, hopping on the spot, and there he was, laughing at me. A stranger, laughing at me? The beautiful sound, and his beautiful crooked smile, somewhat made up for it.
"Not your day,
Senior Year One- Jalex I groaned and rolled over. The steady beeping of my alarm ceased when I slammed my hand into the clock, hitting every button simultaneously. Limp, my hand slid down to hang over the edge of my bed. Mornings weren't my favorite. My cheap, red phone hit the carpet with a dull thump. With another groan, I reached towards it and felt my whole body slip off the slick sheets. Butterflies swarmed my stomach.Senior Year One- Jalex4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"Oh fu-" My face connected with the floor and my legs flipped over me. Suddenly awake, the fall flipped me over and onto my back. I applauded my own clumsiness as all of the air rushed from my lungs.
A knock sounded on my door. "Jack?"
"I'm fine, May. Fell outta bed." I heard her grunt in recognition before her footsteps sounded down the hallway. Sighing, I rolled onto my stomach and reached for my phone. I flipped it open and saw two new text messages; one from Alex and one from Rian. Saving the best for last, I RSVP'd to band practice and opened Alex's message.
