SmallJust another day in the races for me, so I thought. I tightened my grip on my physics textbook as I walked out of school, bored out of my mind. If there was one thing that was more exhausting than a full workout, it was sitting in a classroom for four hours to listen to extremely dry lessons.Small3 years ago in Scraps More Like This
Breathing a sigh of relief as I left the school gates, I made my way back home, thinking about taking a nap. I was tired, undoubtedly, from having slept only four hours the night before, but that was seeming to become a regular routine for me. Go home, take a nap, wake up an hour or two later, play a bit of video games, surf the 'net, finish homework, continue surfing the 'net, chat online with a few friends, and then go to bed at three in the morning. Repeat the next day.
I sighed heavily at myself, life was boring at times. Sure, I was the kind to enjoy routines, but not when one's personal daily routine involved spending close to twelve hours in school.

ReconciliationThe light-blue dragon looked down from its perch in the tree, eyeing the young man knocking at the front door of the house. The door creaked open, revealing a middle-aged man with short-cut, salt and pepper hair.Reconciliation4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
From his perch the dragon listened intently, with a feint sense of familiarity coming from the boy. It had seen him before, but from where and when?
"Excuse me, might there be a Shaun living here...?" he asked timidly.
The man looked surprised for a second before an expression of pain flashed across his aging face. "No, I'm sorry, there's no Shaun living here..." he said, shutting the door.
The young man walked away wordlessly, going back down the street from which he came. The dragon was overcome with curiousity as he wanted to know who this familiar young boy was and, with a large flap of its wings, took off from its perch.
The aging man was seen staring out the window, watching as the blue dragon flew off in the same direction as the young man that had knocked on his doors
The Dragon Festival Part 7I wake up slowly to the sound of knocking on the door of the apartment. I lift my head off the pillows I was sleeping on and quickly slither over to the door. I open it to a woman with cleaning supplies, and I know she's here to clean the room. I tell her to give me a moment and pull myself back into my room. I push through the pool of red scales and find the rice box, still open. I shut the lid and put it into my mouth under my tongue. During my little nap, I have lost almost all the fat I gained from the rice earlier, and I can easily maneuver about the room. I still take up about half of my bedroom, but at least I can fly without difficulties I uncoil myself and begin to leave the room, taking about a minute with my 200-foot long body. When I finally get all of myself out of the room, the cleaning lady puts a sign on the door saying not to disturb the person inside, and shuts theThe Dragon Festival Part 74 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Medieval era Romania circa 1400s, a dozen knights, wearing full body plate armor adorned with silver crosses on their shoulders and flowing red capes on their backs that had an image of a dragon skewered by a sword on them, made their way through the murky swamp around them. Each of the knights carried a lance that shone brilliant silver each time what little light breached the heavy vegetation touched them. All the knights were riding atop various colored war horses and were heading towards a large cave opening that lay in front of them in this dismal swamp. The perfect habitat for the particular prey these knights were hunting that day. The lead knight brought up his right hand and signaled for the group to stop, which they did in a line several dozen feet away from the large cave opening. He reached with his right hand to his helms visor and lifted it up revealing a man of around 25 years of age with brown eyes and light brown hair.
This lead knight took a deep b
Creating Fate -Chapter 1-This is the story of what surprises lie in wait for their chance to change someone's life forever. Even the tiniest change in a plan, idea, or problem can give life an unusual turn of events. It's funny. Y'know, how some people don't appreciate what they have and what life has to give. They act as if life isn't worth living, and should be wasted doing nonsense that would, otherwise, get them killed.Creating Fate -Chapter 1-5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Hey, I'm LaDelya, but my friends call me Delya or Shady for short. I'm just your everyday, 5'6'', dragon-loving artist, and this is the story of the turn my life decided to take while I was on a nature hike with friends. It may sound unbelievable, but the truest things in life just seem that way. But, before you turn your attention away with my "rant", let me start the story.
"How much longer is it going to be before we get there?" asked my friend Sarah, a tall, thin girl with light brown eyes and brown hair. She wasn't much of an artist like me, but she did have a talent for writing and be
Greymon TF Damien listened to his mom drone on about how his grades were dropping, how he should be trying harder on his homework, how he should actually do his homework. He didn't really care, but he had to nod every once in a while, or else she would just start over. "Alright I think you get it You can go."Greymon TF3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
"Can I go to the street fair?"
"No. It's too dangerous for you to go there by yourself!"
"But, mom, I'm seventeen! I'm sure I'm old enough."
"No, Damien! Besides, I have to leave for a conference at one, and I don't want to leave the house empty."
Damien looked at the clock. "But it's only noon!"
"Well, yes, but it'll t

"Good, good. Let's go: we don't have that much time."
Today started out as any other day. I woke up to my annoyingly loud alarm clock, and was close to falling out of bed while trying to turn it off. I went into the bathroom to get the water
