decided to draw her again and changed her head and face anatomy to be able to give her more expression - a little too cartoonish for my liking but the best I can achieve now - maybe with time I'll be able to do something better ^^
A long awaited commission (I thank you wholeheartedly for your patience!). I really enjoyed this, my first piece back into the game. I decided to try a little bit more edge to the expressions, love those toothy grins.
Entry 33 of 100 for the 100 Themes Challenge (#55, Waiting).
I just don't know why I like this sketch so much. It's really one of my favorites ever... though I do know for a fact that I am SO much happier now that I redesigned Nyx. Like... imagine the national deficit, and that number (in the trillions somewhere) is how many more times I like this version of her.
After using OpenCanvas to do most of my "paintings," I tried a different approach; this was colored exclusively in Photoshop CS3, but I tried to imitate the OC style by using base color layers as to let some of the blues and purples "bleed through." What fun it was to experiment!
Anyhow, please enjoy!
